Definitely older styles in terms of clothing (like for people 40+), but they have some cute decor and home finds!! I got a brand new set of bowls from Crate and Barrel for $9! They aren't buying right now due to COVID, but if you have stuff that you're trying to get rid of and would be open to donating to small business - they will take it! (I dropped off stuff at St. Vincent earlier in the day and it was a PAIN. I dropped in to this lovely consignment shop on a lark today. It is a peaceful place with thoughtfully-decorated displays, a cheerful vibe, interesting items, and good deals. I was surprised to see the low overall star rating for this shop, but it made a little more sense when I read all of the reviews here and realized that every single one of the 1 or 2 star reviews was written over 5 years ago. I know I've changed quite a lot in the span of 5 years, and maybe this store has too. I have some updated information about the prices - they're currently much lower than the numbers stated on the really old reviews. I checked a lot of price tags and by far the most frequent numbers I saw for clothing prices fell between $15 and $20. Not the cheapest prices out there for used clothing, but not the most expensive either. I only saw one item of clothing that cost more than $30, and it was a prom dress, so that made sense. I got a beautiful, high-quality, Banana Republic white sweater that looks almost new for $19. I got a pair of Sam Edelman sandals for $19 also, a great deal considering that they were in excellent condition and I've bought the same style and brand (in a different color) new for $70. I got a lovely light-gray ribbed Nordstrom casual skirt for $18. It was brand new and it still had the original price tag attached, which was much higher than $18. I got a Jones New York brand sleeveless jean button-down dress for $27. This was my highest-priced item, but it was in great condition and I've bought things from that brand before for very high prices brand new and they lasted for many years, so I thought it was worth it - even though that dress was slightly tight on me. I am in my late 30s and much of the clothing stock was for older ladies, but, as you can see above, I still found some beautiful, age-appropriate clothing items for good prices. This was a pleasant place for me to relax and leisurely browse. Like most used clothing stores, I wouldn't recommend shopping at this one if you're in a hurry. It may take some time to look through the items and see if you can find something that suits you. Most of the clothing is in excellent condition. I did see two different sweaters that were very pilly. I expected their prices to reflect that, but they didn't. There was a pretty good selection of various types of clothing in sizes S, M, L, and XL. There was a much smaller selection of items of clothing in sizes XS, XXL, and XXXL - they did have a few things in those sizes, but it might be tough to find something that suits you if you are one of those sizes. As other reviews have mentioned, there is much more here than just clothing: there is an assortment of all sorts of things, from kitchen items to books. I got a cute heart necklace for $11, a CD (can't remember the price of it), a small book for $2, an infinity scarf that looked new for $12, and a good-quality, heavy paperweight (I can't tell if it's real marble or not) for $10 that I absolutely love. The lady behind the counter was super friendly and welcoming, to me and to all of the other customers (I was one of 4 total customers there this afternoon). She and I chatted about yard work and cats. I will say that I was considering asking about bringing in clothing of my own to try to sell - I was a size 2 or a size 4 throughout my 20s and early 30s and I doubt I'll ever be that small again, and let me tell you, I have some clothing that is several steps up from Banana Republic or Nordstrom-type selections - but, while there, I had a feeling that it might not be a good idea to bring that up, so I didn't. Reading the other reviews here, it sounds like a few people have had negative experiences with asking about selling their clothing here, so perhaps there was something to that feeling that I got. However, my intention in going there was primarily to browse and/or buy, and doing both of those things was a good experience for me. I guess I'm a little surprised that this place has stayed in business for so long given that they're right next door to a Ross, which has similar prices for a much larger selection of brand-new items, but I'm glad they're still there. I personally prefer shopping at this store to shopping at Ross. Shopping at this lovely little store was a 5-star experience for me in every way - excellent quality of items, fair prices, friendly customer service, aesthetic appeal, relaxing music playing, and finding great items that I love. read more

This store is more for woman over the age of 40, however I feel like the have quality items. There were several woman shopping in there when I was there on a Thursday. There is also a clothing store near by that just opened. It's a great place to check out if you are looking for something extra to add to your closet. read more

I recently went to Two Trading Tigers for the first time and I am sad I just discovered it! I can't believe I lived so close for several years and just now found it. I found some great deals on cute items. I got a little evening bag for $6, a shoulder bag for $5 and a very cute Shelli Segal top for $12. What finds! It is obvious that the owner takes great care with her shop stocking with high quality, designer items in excellent condition and decorating the shop in an esthetically pleasing, cohesive manner. I have never seen such a visually appealing and organized consignment shop! The owner was very pleasant with me. There is a great clearance rack at the front with reduced price items. There are several racks of women's clothing, a shoe section, and even a children's section. There are also some designer handbags. Two Trading Tigers is not the shop for people looking for bottom of the barrel deals. This store has high quality items and for the most part they are on the higher side price-wise to reflect the better products. If you're looking for cheap used clothes go somewhere else! I think being a selective buyer is a definite plus for a consignment shop and it's evident the store is quite particular about what they carry. I look forward to returning! read more

Two Trading Tigers has a lot of nice home decor and a little furniture sometimes. They also have grown women's clothing, accessories and shoes. A couple years ago I walked away with skirts from Trina Turk, Banana Republic, and Ann Taylor. I've also gotten Kenneth Cole wide leg jeans. BUT - the past three times I've gone in, it seems the prices have gone up and the selection of brands has gone downhill. This is a consignment store. People go there looking for gently used finds at a great value! Nobody wants to pay $30 or $40 for a used Banana skirt because you can get it brand new, on sale for that price or lower. People want to walk away from a consignment store feeling like they found something great, and got a good deal! You don't want to walk away insulted. Last thing- I've also tried calling to see if they are taking new consigments. I have tops that I have worn maybe once or twice, that are Trina Turk and Banana, and pants from Anthropologie. They always say they're not buying until two months down the road. This tells me that they rarely buy, or they have a select pool of sellers that they allow to consign and that's all. If that's true, they need to expand their horizons because lately, what's going on in there, ISN'T going on. read more

Walked in mid-afternoon to see about reselling my pair of Tory Burch wedge heels. There was one person browsing in the store and the owner was behind the counters price tagging items. After being briefly greeted and still standing at the counter I was asked what she could help with. I explained I had a pair of shoes that I wanted to see if she was interested in, motioning to the shoe bag I'd placed on the counter. She said that only happens "by appointment" and that they were fully "booked through October" (it's only early July). I said I had no idea that was the case and she said most places were like that, only by appointment. Then she noticed the Kate Spade name (I realize it's not Tory Burch but had an extra Kate Spade bag) on my shoe bag and looked slightly more interested but still wouldn't help me. I walked in wearing a tee shirt, jeans, sandals and no makeup. What kind of business owner cannot manage to find a few minutes to glance at a pair of shoes when there's only one other customer in the store? If there was a 10 star option I would click it in a heartbeat. I'm a beanie babies collector, and this place is perfect for that! Not to mention the super cute, high quality clothing. I got one of my favorite jackets from here, it's absolutely beautiful! I'm 16 in around 2 weeks, and once I hit 16 you better believe I'm going to try and get a job here! It's simply wonderful, the cashier is so kind and lively, the owner is as well. I can't express my love for this place. If your looking for... well, anything honestly, I highly highly suggest this place. Clothes? They have it. Vintage toys? They got it. Furniture? They got it!! Even plates and kitchen stuff! Several months ago I brought in an item to sell. They priced it at $30. At the end of the 3-month consignment period, I went back to see if it had sold. It had not. I was going to take it back with me but the gal there assured me that it would sell soon, being as it was getting close to Christmas. I went in there the other day & inquired about it. Without my knowledge, they had drastically reduced the price & sold it! My payout - $3. It would have been nice to have been notified first. Needless to say, I will not be bringing anything else to them to sell. read more

This store has always filled a need for me especially with comfortable travel clothes. But lately I have even been finding some new smaller items that are great too, like a great headband warmer that was just the right thickness, and very cute and a fair price. How can you go wrong with all that! As with any consignment store, it is about changing their stock so it's good to go into periodically. And they do have some nice houseware items as well. I have always been greeted and treated nicely here and have been a customer for several years so was surprised at some of these ratings. read more

I've been greeted there on multiple ocassions and I also have been left alone to shop peacefully. BTW, I usually look like a tired homemaker in sweats...however, there's nothing shy about me--I smile at everyone and say hello myself. If found the shopkeeper to be very nice! The store has great MERCHANDISING. Great displays and organization for clothes, homewares, and furnitures. Fun style. Prices are alright considering it's way more upscale than a goodwill and the shopping is more fun because of it. I bought an antique school desk ($80) there then ran next door to Ross and found the perfect parsons chair ($50) to go with it and some art ($40) to hang above it. I LOVE my desk! It's perfect. I will definitely get my $80 of enjoyment of it and had I seen it in a value village, I'm not sure I'd have noticed the chair or had the convenience of merchandising inspiration and Ross next door. The store has some okay things, but a lot of the clothes are really dated or more suited towards women 50+ or better. If you can find stuff that has been sitting around long enough, you might get a decent find, otherwise it's too expensive for used goods, generally. The women who work there didn't seem interested in helping any customers, but just went about doing their own thing. read more

Been in this store four or five times actively seeking to purchase, but have never been greeted, let alone approached for help, even when I'm the only customer in the store. Based on prices and appearances, the owner(s) are really proud of their merchandise, but I am not sure how they plan to move the inventory if they're too high-falutin' to interact with a customer. My visit this week was my last; I was actually bumped aside by two employees who were merchandising (without an apology). I returned the item I wanted to the rack and went elsewhere. read more

STAY AWAY from this consignment shop Two Trading Dragon. I was one of two in the shop and was shopping around for 30 mins with a pile of clothing in my arms. I was never greeted or asked if I needed a dressing room. And don't even get me started with the prices. A Banana Republic skirt for $40 when that skirt is clearly from the 90's. You are better off going to Goodwill or Value Village. How does this store stay in business??? I had to give one star because there isn't an option for no stars. read more
