I was going to play soccer with them and the staff went above and beyond to help me. He even asked a Ross staff on my behalf if there was a pump I could use. Also, really good selection of toys for many add groups and randomly, Jordan kids shoes for like $39.

They aren't buying right now due to COVID, but if you have stuff that you're trying to get rid of and would be open to donating to small business - they will take it! (I dropped off stuff at St. Vincent earlier in the day and it was a PAIN. I rather just donate here) Overall, really clean and cute place that I'll be returning to for donating and selling (which will hopefully expand clothing selection to the younger crowd) :) Rachel at the front desk was helpful and so nice!

I was surprised to see the low overall star rating for this shop, but it made a little more sense when I read all of the reviews here and realized that every single one of the 1 or 2 star reviews was written over 5 years ago. I know I've changed quite a lot in the span of 5 years, and maybe this store has too. I have some updated information about the prices - they're currently much lower than the numbers stated on the really old reviews. I checked a lot of price tags and by far the most frequent numbers I saw for clothing prices fell between $15 and $20. Not the cheapest prices out there for used clothing, but not the most expensive either. I only saw one item of clothing that cost more than $30, and it was a prom dress, so that made sense. I got a beautiful, high-quality, Banana Republic white sweater that looks almost new for $19. I got a pair of Sam Edelman sandals for $19 also, a great deal considering that they were in excellent condition and I've bought the same style and brand (in a different color) new for $70. I got a lovely light-gray ribbed Nordstrom casual skirt for $18. It was brand new and it still had the original price tag attached, which was much higher than $18. I got a Jones New York brand sleeveless jean button-down dress for $27. This was my highest-priced item, but it was in great condition and I've bought things from that brand before for very high prices brand new and they lasted for many years, so I thought it was worth it - even though that dress was slightly tight on me. I am in my late 30s and much of the clothing stock was for older ladies, but, as you can see above, I still found some beautiful, age-appropriate clothing items for good prices. This was a pleasant place for me to relax and leisurely browse. Like most used clothing stores, I wouldn't recommend shopping at this one if you're in a hurry. It may take some time to look through the items and see if you can find something that suits you. Most of the clothing is in excellent condition. I did see two different sweaters that were very pilly. I expected their prices to reflect that, but they didn't. There was a pretty good selection of various types of clothing in sizes S, M, L, and XL. There was a much smaller selection of items of clothing in sizes XS, XXL, and XXXL - they did have a few things in those sizes, but it might be tough to find something that suits you if you are one of those sizes. As other reviews have mentioned, there is much more here than just clothing: there is an assortment of all sorts of things, from kitchen items to books. I got a cute heart necklace for $11, a CD (can't remember the price of it), a small book for $2, an infinity scarf that looked new for $12, and a good-quality, heavy paperweight (I can't tell if it's real marble or not) for $10 that I absolutely love. The lady behind the counter was super friendly and welcoming, to me and to all of the other customers (I was one of 4 total customers there this afternoon). She and I chatted about yard work and cats. I will say that I was considering asking about bringing in clothing of my own to try to sell - I was a size 2 or a size 4 throughout my 20s and early 30s and I doubt I'll ever be that small again, and let me tell you, I have some clothing that is several steps up from Banana Republic or Nordstrom-type selections - but, while there, I had a feeling that it might not be a good idea to bring that up, so I didn't. Reading the other reviews here, it sounds like a few people have had negative experiences with asking about selling their clothing here, so perhaps there was something to that feeling that I got. However, my intention in going there was primarily to browse and/or buy, and doing both of those things was a good experience for me. I guess I'm a little surprised that this place has stayed in business for so long given that they're right next door to a Ross, which has similar prices for a much larger selection of brand-new items, but I'm glad they're still there. I personally prefer shopping at this store to shopping at Ross. Shopping at this lovely little store was a 5-star experience for me in every way - excellent quality of items, fair prices, friendly customer service, aesthetic appeal, relaxing music playing, and finding great items that I love.

The staff is knowledgeable and engaged, providing good information and recommendations. While not as extensive as someplace like Adorama or B&H, Kenmore Camera still has good selection and will usually have what I'm looking for. I'm also pleased with the value provided, especially because they will price match some of those bigger shops, allowing me to consider spending my limited budget here, rather than sending it out of state. I even learned last year about their classes, which I've happily been taking advantage of over the last, six months. The only reason I've deducted a star (and I'd rather have only deducted a half a star), is that some of the staff are a little too focused on their commission. As someone who has worked retail for twenty years I get it. If that's the earnings structure at your job then you do what you have to do, but one gentleman in particular made me feel like I had wronged him, personally, when I spoke with a different associate when I came back in to make a purchase I had been considering. Yes, he was the random person who ended up answering my questions on my first visit, but that doesn't mean I feel like I had some kind of contract with him as a result. Now, when I go back in, I just make sure to avoid him.

The available selection is highly curated by the store managers, with road-tested feedback on shoe models that enhance comfort and minimize pinching and pain. The store doesn't have mind-numbing, vast choices. It's usually endless choice that leads to paralysis. However store clerks do in-house fitting that gets the customer an appropriate shoe model which has proven to work well for many other people with similar foot issues. I bought a paid of HOKA trainers there...nothing fancy, not a huge range of choices, but it was a good choice to reduce my foot pain. Sometimes the focused care of store clerks who have seen multitudes of customers with similar foot conditions and can make optimal recommendations is better than dazzling yet confusing racks of shoe model options.

I had gotten the previous pair from Sole Perfection so I went back there. They didn't have any available in my size (Mens 12.5 EE). But rather than offer to order the pair, the sales clerk raved about Hoka Transport. The width felt snug, but it was close enough that I bought it. 2 months later the inside heel had already started wearing out, leading to the hard plastic painfully poking into my heel. Sole Perfection offered to replace it as a warranty replacement and told me they had another in my size. So I made the trip there only to find they didn't have my size, only 12.5 D. So I left empty handed. A week later, they had the right size, but it was a different color. Not a problem for me, so I go back a 3rd time. But I could barely get my feet in because of how much they pinched the sides of my feet. The sales clerk assured me it would take a day or 2 to adjust. Nope, just as painful as ever. So I'm just going to order a pair of Brooks Beasts from Amazon. I'm stuck with my basically unwearable pair of Hokas and I'm out nearly $200. I'm upset at Hoka for making crappy quality shoes. And I'm upset at Sole Perfection for not listening to me when I said what brand of sneaker I wanted to buy. Dec 9 edit - I will raise my review to 2 stars. I appreciate that store staff tried to make things right. But they weren't able to. Ultimately I spent $190 on sneakers I could only wear for 5 weeks.
