Ever since I stop by out of curiosity, i've been hooked. I love the artwork I got for cheap. This location compared to one I went to in Renton feels cleaner, but that location had its own perks. This location is staffed with friendly people. The place is tidy with some cool finds. Some things seem over priced. I usually find good deals in the tool isle. I like some of the unique items I have seen. But Goodwill knows how to price them so they are not too good of a deal. For example a small wooden sailboat I liked was priced at $30. I can find it online for the same price brand new. Often times, the items that are marked up more than usual are labeled as an "antique" on the price sticker. That is definitely one example of how some things may seem overpriced when you shop at goodwill. My wife and I were going to grab a play kitchen for our toddler. Those go for $100+ at Target or walmart. Goodwill had one priced at $30 and check out the picture of it on this review, it's a nice one... They got seasonal items and other things that are brand new. Fridge with cold drinks, candy and snacks at the front. A bathroom for customers. You are good to shop for hours if you want to...lol Minus 1 star because some items are overpriced.

I'm here in Monroe because of an offer up deal I was doing at the nearby Lowe's so I'm about almost an hour out of my ways due to traffic, and out of a completely spontaneous decision I went into the nearby goodwill. I don't frequent most places, but I have been to probably an unhealthy amount of goodwills. Idk why but even if I don't have time I usually make time if I see one I haven't gone to because it's such a random occurrence of events to find a dope find. Tbh in the last 5 years I've grown to usually take about 10 minutes tops to get in and out due to the mediocrity that is so casual for goodwill but I'm here to say that I want to go on record confidently stating this is the best goodwill I've ever been to. No, it's not doing something out of the scope of goodwills agenda, but everything you expect from a goodwill they are doing in an ideal way. The team here is just putting out such a variety of items and EVERYTHING is in sellable condition. Holy moly it's organized. I've seen organized goodwills but it's not common, and it's unheard of to see the combo of variety and organization. Tbh I was forcing myself out after finding like 3 amazing things because of my budget, so I didn't have any interaction with the staff or anything, but who cares. I saw a bunch of items he had for sale ranging from tables to chairs as well as couches; many of the items he has taken really good care of and really passionate about. There was another lady in the store who I had spoken to who would vouch for his wonderful work and service as she is a longtime customer. Where his store is located is adjacent to a gravel lot that has plenty of space to park at and conveniently located next to a bus stop. Definitely check out his store if you're looking to buy furniture.

Nice, clean, organized, and well stocked. Sales proceeds assists 4 legged pets. The Homie and I wandered the entire store, but bypassed the rows upon rows of clothing, shoes, and accessories. Retail items included ephemera, bric a brac, home decor, furniture, household goods, tools, computer gear, small appliances, toys, puzzles, books & media, crafting and office supplies. I passed on a melamine plate with rabbits, bag of loose keys, and a Remington manual typewriter. Really should have of bought that plastic bag filled with assorted keys! The Homie bought VHS formats of a Star Trek episode and a boxed set on warfare history. Seems like Shoreline is becoming a thrifter's destination with Deseret Industries, Goodwill, Magpie Thrift, and now Bella's Voice.

I purchased a rug that was tightly rolled and sealed with tape, so there was no way to inspect it at the store. When I got it home and opened it, it was in unacceptable condition--heavily stained, paint marks, and a strong cigarette odor. This is not an item that should have been on the sales floor. I brought it back within a week with the tag attached and receipt in hand. The manager did not start by looking at the condition. Instead, she went straight to finding reasons to deny the return. First she said there was no tag (there was), then said they don't accept returns on "furniture." At no point did Manager Leonora engage with the actual issue. When I tried to show her why I was returning it, another employee inserted herself and escalated the interaction. I did raise my voice out of frustration but I made no threats and was trying to explain a legitimate issue. Rather than hearing the concern or working toward a solution, the situation escalated quickly. I was told to leave or the police would be called for trespassing--and that is exactly what happened. Police were called over a return. Even after I apologized and offered reasonable solutions (exchange or completing my purchase), the manager declined and stayed focused on denying the return and involving public law enforcement. The responding officer even looked at the rug and attempted to find an amicable resolution. My daughter, who was not involved in the interaction, was also threatened with trespass, which was upsetting and unnecessary. This should have been straightforward customer service: 1. The item was not in acceptable condition 2, It was packaged in a way that prevented inspection 3. A reasonable review could have resolved it Instead, it escalated into a situation involving publicly funded law enforcement over a defective item. As a nonprofit serving the community, I would expect a greater emphasis on resolving issues directly rather than relying on public resources to shut down a legitimate concern. For a place called Bella's Voice, it was surprising how quickly the conversation was shut down. I sent a letter to the Executive Director a month ago and no reply whatsoever. There are tons of…read morepeople who full on run, sprint and power walk (which is not walking) upon the doors opening each morning at 9am sharp. The managers say to everyone "please do not run, walk only, be kind to others, blah blah blah" yet the stand there at the door and the registers and let them do what thy just loudly asked them NOT to do. I don't understand how anyone runs in this establishment. There are no emergency situations like earthquakes, power outages or fires that warrant running at any time of being in the store. People are going to get hurt! One of these people is a young college child, his name is John. He runs every day to get to the piles of music cd's on the shelves so he can find the high dollar ones to re-sell on ebay and amazon. He used to be a high school track star and has almost twice fallen down taking a corner too sharp. Yet the managers don't say a word to him to slow down, or kick him out for 5 or 7 days like they do to others in the store who constantly are always pushing, shoving others, or being rude and obnoxious. This young child John, 2 days ago as I went to grab some cd's came right across my whole hand and knocked them out of my hand and tried to pick them up as if to steal them from me! I told him to back off and if he ever touches me again that I would put him on the ground as self defense. He rudely badmouthed me and told me "too bad so sad". The very next day, he did it again but this time he tried to take the 4 cd's I had just grabbed to look at right out of my hands! I bit my tongue, but on my way out I pulled aside one of the managers who I thought would listen and try to do something about. He told me the next day (today) there would be a manager at the front door to confront and talk to him as he entered as well as another manager in the back to make sure he wasn't bothering others. Well neither thing happened and this knucklehead just sprinted in the store again and right by the manager 5 feet from the cd's and she didn't say anything to him or the others who were on a full on running sprint marathon to pick the aisles clean of the new items put out overnight. Korenna and Ingrid are the only female managers at this store. Barry, Nate, Joe and Joel are the male managers. Joe is quite honestly the only one who listens to customer complaints and sticks to what he says. This review along with another letter is going to be written to the LDS Mormon President as well as the Washington State Labor & Industries department.

At a glance around, the racks are labeled and things are color coded. Staff wasn't overly friendly, but perhaps they were tired as it's the day before a holiday. Overall a successful trip and will return if I need a cheap item! The jeans I got were $6.61! Yay! Also they're only open weekdays so that's a thing to work around.
