I have made many donations over the years at this location, although trying to make a "donation" here now is ridiculous! We brought a whole truck load of items to donate. The workers picked through the items and decided what they would take as if they were furnishing their own homes! We had a nice, used, all wood night stand that they wouldn't take. They said it "wasn't new enough." WTH!? Also, we had some indoor ceiling lights that they said they "don't take," but then they threw them back in the truck nearly busting them. We left there and took the nightstand to Value Village, which they happily took. They will get no more donations from me! read more

I like this place! Check out my first picture, I picked up that piece of artwork for $25 at this location. I'm somewhat new to shopping at Goodwill. Ever since I stop by out of curiosity, i've been hooked. I love the artwork I got for cheap. This location compared to one I went to in Renton feels cleaner, but that location had its own perks. This location is staffed with friendly people. The place is tidy with some cool finds. Some things seem over priced. I usually find good deals in the tool isle. I like some of the unique items I have seen. But Goodwill knows how to price them so they are not too good of a deal. For example a small wooden sailboat I liked was priced at $30. I can find it online for the same price brand new. Often times, the items that are marked up more than usual are labeled as an "antique" on the price sticker. That is definitely one example of how some things may seem overpriced when you shop at goodwill. My wife and I were going to grab a play kitchen for our toddler. Those go for $100+ at Target or walmart. Goodwill had one priced at $30 and check out the picture of it on this review, it's a nice one... They got seasonal items and other things that are brand new. Fridge with cold drinks, candy and snacks at the front. A bathroom for customers. You are good to shop for hours if you want to...lol Minus 1 star because some items are overpriced. read more

Extremely rude employees. I have never been treated so poorly in a store, much less a Goodwill. The manager was absolutely terrible and should be fired immediately. The staff need to be replaced or re-trained to act like humans act in public. I am not nor or ever been a "Karen." I do not complain and I understand these type of workers do not always get respect. But this store is full of hateful, mean and rude employees. Avoid at all costs unless management is replaced. All three interactions I had today were so rude and mean and I simply had a question. I am kind, fun and rarely in a bad mood. This put me in a terrible place. read more

Goodwill used to be my go to thrift store until they got greedy.. Extremely high prices on donations. No senior day once a week anymore and only a small percent of on a color tag that's worn out it's welcome in the store. Maybe Goodwill should take advice from value village. Been there couple times for donate things. Its super easy to drop things from car. But whenever i go there to drop things, it super busy.

The cleanliness is okay, but social distance rules and masks are not enforced. There were several people walking around without a mask, one of them coughing near the women's clothes. I know that people with the vaccine can technically go without a mask, but since there's no way to tell and the person was coughing I wish someone had done something to get him out of the store. On top of that, the stuff is overpriced. I will not return. read more

Do not go there, not a good place to shop. First reason, the prices on everything are so high that you could buy brand new shoes from Walmart. Beanies, or sweatshirts from Hobby Lobby. Quite easily the worst pricing I've seen for a Goodwill. Donated items are listed at or above eBay or Poshmark or other resale store prices (e.g. any name brand clothing, electronics, furniture). Not sure if there's incentive for pricing items as if they're not donated for free, but wouldn't surprise me with the way they run this location. Will post specific pictures "if" I return. Looking for work clothes today and see a well worn banana republic t-shirt for $14.99. Management and whoever prices the items need to realize why people shop there, frustrating to say the least. read more

I'm not a thrift store aficionado by any stretch, so consider this a rather uninformed opinion, but honestly I can't give anything less than 5 stars to an organization that supports job training, provides affordable shopping options for folks, and helps keep used things out of landfills. Looking over the more well-informed reviews below, it appears that there have been some price bumps here, and while that naturally sucks, I find consolation in that the money is going to an excellent and vital cause, and it's still more affordable than retail. (And I would guess that the cost of the job training that Goodwill supports is going up, so price bumps are inevitable.) But again, me = uninformed, and I write this all from the relative luxury of someone who makes a living wage at a time when many people don't. Socioeconomic mumblings aside...my GF and I dropped in here the other day and found a great jigsaw puzzle in excellent condition, along with a bunch of candle holders and an odd little sculpture of a grimacing face that GF is going to turn into "found object" art. And we honestly had a ton of fun just looking at the tchotchkes on the shelves. Green tag items were 50% off so we got a great deal on our goodies. We stuck to the housewares and such; no forays into the clothing. The store was well-organized and maintained, and the few staff we interacted with were friendly. I'd definitely come back here and will happily donate items here too. read more

This place seems huge, and there's a huge parking lot on at least two sides that they always appear to pack full of cars. I didn't go inside, but I made a couple trips to the donation station out back this weekend, and they certainly have packed that place. Judging by the amount of activity here, there must be a ton of stuff inside, at good prices. First off, I am completely in favor of everything about the mission this place pursues. They do great work--they help people with job training, they keep junk out of the landfills, they provide a ton of useful stuff to people who need it at good prices. And you never know what kind of collectible, vintage, or antique item might pop up on their shelves. This marks the second time I have hauled an entire 20' rental truckload of a friend's belongings to a Goodwill. This place is so busy that it took a while to unload; they could only spare one person to help with all the stuff in the truck. But that's alright. It's incredibly satisfying to plunk down bag after bag after small furniture piece after box after this after that, knowing that it's too good for the dump, and somebody can use it. Sure, they have enormous dumpsters (tractor-trailer-sized) right next to the donation area, but there was at least enough saleable stuff sitting next to them to fill more than two tractor trailers. I don't know how they get through all these things, but I am incredibly grateful that they do it, and I don't have to. Every time I come here (to any location), I start feeling incredibly motivated to go through my stuff and find things that they might be able to use. Maybe I can get through a couple closets or bookshelves one weekend this month. I've already made four trips in the last few weekends--one of them in the above-mentioned huge rental truck--but there can always be more. read more

They let me have a warm/ dry blanket for free without any judgement.. I pretty much cried in the parking lot as this was such a blessing! Nights have been colder and thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!! The cashier went out of his way to find a warm, not used blanket and the manager approved. Very grateful! read more

They close their donation center at random. I called in advance knowing this and asked if it would be open, they assured me it would. I drove to the donation center and SURPRISE!! closed! I called inside and some lady put me on hold and never came back. I called in a second time and the same lady told me if I wanted to wait "a couple minutes" they would open it back up. I asked if a couple minutes meant two and she said "more like 40." Place is a joke! read more

Pros: Good things, decent prices (though a bit high for used stuff), and I love that they do make a difference in the lives of people who need job training, giving them real world experience, people skills, training and confidence. Cons: The front end staff really needs to work on customer service. I have been nothing but polite (because I know retail and customer service can suck like a thirsty kid on a hot day at the business end of a garden hose), yet questions and requests are always met with snark and eye rolls. read more

All right, so I was kind of mean to the other Everett Goodwill store for being small and kind of smelly and not having a very good selection. This store is the one that's making that other location look bad! This Goodwill is large, clean, organized, and has a big selection. Otherwise, it's your typical Goodwill: reasonable prices, colored tag discounts and regular sales, a wide variety of stuff. Now that Target is dumping their clearance stuff on Goodwill, you can score super-cheap tights, sweaters, and tops that are BRAND NEW, so keep an eye out -- on this trip I saw new tights in several colors and sizes for $1-2 each. Absolutely worth a visit if you're in Everett! I mean, you're in Everett, what else are you going to do? read more

Perhaps the cleanest thrift store I have ever seen! Granted it is fairly new, but it is clear when it was built, it was built to look nice and stay nice. I was surprised at the amount of new in packaging items this location has. The items for sale are fairly expensive though for being used items. I understand that Goodwill has overhead (despite getting items for free), but it would be nice to see things a little more reasonable in cost. They do have $5.00 - $10 VCRs though if you need them to watch old VHS tapes! The drop off area is well staffed with friendly associates who push buggies out to your car to help you unload. The traffic flow to get in and out of is also easy to navigate. Overall, this is a great place to "recycle" your old items and be able to help those in the community in need. read more

Want there this week and not only is there store past the 25% complicity but no one was forcing social distancing. Which is very sad. They did not set up their store to handle 6ft distance from other people. I am also very disappoint with the cleanness of the store well we are going threw a pandemic. If values village can count people come in and keep the store clean along with being social distance The Goodwill should be able to do the same even if it is a different company same idea. read more

We're usually greeted by everyone at checkout and have a great time, but my daughter who brought her own money to spend wasn't even acknowledged for her purchase. This is a GREAT Goodwill. They take old electronics, computers, TV's and recycle, but also most any good quality household items. Sometimes there is a bit of a wait to drop things off, but I just let my bride out and she shops while I wait to drop things off. Love Goodwill but the last couple of visits to this store have included visits from the police for altercations. Kindy scary. The prices at this location seem to be going up quite a bit. The racks are so crowded you can't budge most of the items. The Fashion Focus items are mostly way out of date with crazy high prices. Goodwill CEO makes millions each year. Maybe have a sale once in a while to clear out some of this stuff and put some realistic prices on things. read more

I've found Bassett furniture here! Great way to find quality furniture without the price tag.. but, it's likely you'll have to refurbish or repaint it. I've found things like huge wood framed mirrors, vintage coffee tables, and cute ceramic pots! I also like to browse the milk vases and teapots! read more

I went here yesterday after going to Value Village in search of cheap designer clothes and Value Village had a MUCH better selection and only slightly higher prices. And Value Village was also a lot less crowded. Yesterday was basically my first time shopping at a thrift store and I'll definitely go back to Value Village but probably wont go back to Goodwill even if I'm in the area. At Goodwill they have this unfortunate rack of clothes labeled "Fashion Focus" where they have American Eagle, Lucky, and Express jeans that are really gross and stained (so much so that I don't even think most of them should be sold) labeled for $20-$40...basically the same price it would be to get those exact jeans brand new at the store. But then on the racks of clothes off to the sides they have much higher end jeans (I found a pair of Joe's, a pair of Seven's, a few pairs of Vigoss jeans, some Paige jeans, and some Big Star jeans,) all for less than $10. So whoever does the pricing doesn't know labels very well which is good for the customers but bad for the store. Sadly none of them were in the right size. The low rating is mainly because the racks are so crowded you literally don't have an inch to scoot the hangers forward and look through the clothes. So clothes are constantly getting knocked off the hangers as you're trying to get a good look at them and there were a bunch of clothes already on the ground when I went in. The clothes there are also just dirtier and more damaged in general than at Value Village. Probably 1/3 of the stuff is stained permanently or is torn in spots or just faded so much that it would be stupid to buy it. And the selection is pretty small. They had maybe15-20 pairs of jeans in each size whereas Value Village had about 60-80 pairs of jeans in each size. read more

Bright and clean floors! Like most thrift stores, right when you enter you get the wiff of a stale and old smell. Go beyond that and you see the seasonal display. I like the layout of the store. They have a great selection of books as Kayla P. mentioned below and I like the fact that they have two short bookshelves of cookbooks. They are little different from other goodwill stores where they have standard prices. Here they mark the prices like all items in the store, color coded marked price. There are no over stacking on their shelves, except for the office aisle. The items are all placed nice and neat. Not much selection on shoes, but there was a brand new shoes section of Converse gold slip-ons and bling-bling flip flops. They have a good and useable furniture department. There was an Asian black laquer and mother of pearl mosaic art table that was nice and affordable prices, only if I had the room. There is a huge section of clothing and I will be back to sift through, just did not have the time. It's not hard to be in this store for couple hours. The store is busy and the staff is on the spot to check out when called. That seemed to happen often when I was there. The intercom was always calling for another person to cashier and they had 4 check-outs! A MUST GO! =) read more

What can I say about this Goodwill that hasn't already been said? Clean, big, well organized and not too "stinky." I really appreciate that. The most awesome book section I've ever seen in a thrift store. And, comparatively speaking, a lot cheaper than Value Village's books (paperbacks here at GW are 79 cents- at VV they are based on the original cover price- usually 2.99) and a much better, organized and alphabetized selection. The Goodwill doesn't seem to carry as much seasonal as Value Village- they only had a very small Halloween section. Also, +1 for also having a whole plus sized aisle- it makes it that much easier than digging through all the regular aisles. read more

I usually go the the Goodwill downtown, but was out by the mall and stopped by. I'm glad I did. This Goodwill is large, and roomy, and just filled with great stuff. My friend found a great pair of jeans, and I found more pants, shirts, and whatnot than I could afford. They were all good deals, so it was hard to not get them all. The selection of clothing was really good. The prices were pretty normal thrift store prices. Definitely more affordable than the Value Village, but more expensive than the rock bottom prices at St. Vincents. There were also lots and lots of great deals in the shoes, and housewares departments. The sheer volume of dishes, and whatnot, was nice. I have to say this store is probably my favorite, of all the thrift shops I have been to in Everett, so far. I'll definitely be making the trip over there more often. read more

We had trouble finding the HalfPrice Bookstore, but saw this along the way and stopped in. Very nice stuff, people! The store is bright and clean (like Nori V. has said, word for word too..hum, I need a thesaurus, lol), high ceilings and everything is kept orderly and neat. Storytime: While browsing in the kitchenstuffs, I saw a series of little ceramic houses that you could put spices in. I thought about buying them but I could tell it was already missing a few 'houses.' That didn't stop me from scouring the section and finding four more houses. I lined them up on the shelf and decided not to buy them. I came by a few minutes later and someone had scooped them up! That kind of made me smile. I like looking for stuff and trying to make complete sets of things. :) I wound up buying a heavy brushed metal picture of a kitchen, which had a really old label that it was made from Seattle Goodwill Industries? OK, sold! The hub bought an old school Seahawks cross-stitch framed picture and a Banana Republic sweater. Oh and I found a tie dye shirt, I've been wanting one of those! We don't typically come up to the Evey very often, but if we do, we are definitely coming back here. All our purchases were under $10. read more

This is one of the cleanest thrift store I have ever been in! Last week I was in search of a fixer chest of drawers and went to 9 thrift stores in Snohomish county, yes 9! In doing so, I went to 3 or 4 other Goodwill's, Value Villages and independently owned shops. This Goodwill on Everett Mall Way blew them all away. So I love to find treasures. Well if I'm in the mood. But this Goodwill is a gold mine. Well, it can be. There is a sale rotation and they offer sweet deals up to 50% off certain tag colors. There is ALWAYS a crowd at this place. So beware. I usually go in the early morning at 930 am or so... and there are so many people! TIP: Shop the racks that the employees are putting away on the shelves! NEW stuff people!! ALSO... If you are looking for something and can't find it, ASK someone. They may have something in the back that hasn't been set out. :O read more
