So I love to find treasures. Well if I'm in the mood. But this Goodwill is a gold mine. Well, it can be. There is a sale rotation and they offer sweet deals up to 50% off certain tag colors. There is ALWAYS a crowd at this place. So beware. I usually go in the early morning at 930 am or so... and there are so many people! TIP: Shop the racks that the employees are putting away on the shelves! NEW stuff people!! ALSO... If you are looking for something and can't find it, ASK someone. They may have something in the back that hasn't been set out. :O read more

I enjoy the thrill of the hunt. I'm always looking for Decor, sports equipment, or athletic apparel. With a collegiate athlete, I'm always looking for Like-new condition Nike Dry fit items. I'm shocked at times to see the sticker price!! Holy Moly...$15+ for shirts! I can buy these brand new at TJ Maxx or Marshals for approximately the same price. I've never been in the store; this review is about the donation experience. There was line going all the way through the parking lot and didn't move for at least 15 minutes. This is really unheard of so I'm not sure what the issue was. I got impatient and went to the Goodwill drop off on 164th in Mill Creek and was in-and-out in 5 minutes. read more

I come here for the books. I don't know how they do it, but they have the BEST selection of books in thrift store around these parts. There's always a wide selection, they're cheap, and usually in very good condition. All of the books are separated out by general topic, and they even alphabetized the fiction section by first letter of author's last name. How many times have you seen that at the thrift store? I'm an avid book collector, and I absolutely love it. Sometimes I find some pretty good hidden gems here, too. The price is always better than a designated used bookstore, so that makes me very happy. The rest of it is very hit-or-miss. I once found a boutique-made flame-print toddler dress in perfect condition for several dollars. Came home and looked it up on this here internet, and it retailed for over $35. Dang. Another time I found a giant Thomas the Tank pop-out tent in perfect condition for less than $5. That also retails for over $30. Awesome! :D read more

I think all Goodwill stores are pretty decent, and this one is no different. I always seem to find good jewelry and quirky housewares here. The few times I've been on a Monday ($1.29 whatever the special tag color is) I've been able to find some good stuff, usually everything has been picked through after the 50% off the special tag color over the weekend. One of the keys to thrift store shopping is to not expect to find what you need. I keep a running list of things I'm looking for, but I don't settle on the first white blouse (or whatever it is I need) I see. You have to search for the right one. read more

This Goodwill is over by the Everett Mall, and is much larger than the downtown store. It has a parking lot with lots of parking, too. The store is really big, well lit, and cleaner than most thrift stores. The dressing rooms are locked, and very clean. There is a huge selection of clothing, and shoes. Some furniture, and a large selection of household items. I found an $80 bike helmet for under $5! It seems like every time I go in with a twenty, I come out with a couple bags of stuff. I highly recommend them for thrifting because there always seems to be a lot of good stuff there. read more

This goodwill used to be pretty great. Now it pretty much sucks. I am not sure who is doing their pricing now but it is crazy. The past like 5 times I have been there I have bought nothing. That is pretty rare for me to walk into a thrift store and come away with nothing. I hope they shape it up. read more

If I could give no stars I would I was shocked to see the rating on this store customer service is aweful there are people shop lifting right in front of you management is so aweful it's as if they have no idea what their are doing especially the pregnant one I go in to this store because it's close to my house but this store is so bad everything is over priced 5$ for a small wood box I once saw used hair dye priced at 4.99 wtf? This is my favorite Goodwill. It is clean, items well displayed, and the CSRs are really helpful and friendly. Penny was so helpful and patient with me when I bought a large item and then returned it. She also makes me laugh. Tea, does an amazing job at setting up displays and helping me at the register. The accessories stocker is simply a hoot to visit with and sets up her department with class. I could go on but they all are great. read more

This is a pretty average Goodwill. It has that thrift store smell but not crazy bad. I usually go for the books and fabric from vintage sheets. Prices are pretty average too. They also have a good set up for dropping off donations. They are always fast with helping you get things out of the car and there are always multiple attendants. read more

This was a pretty big location! It was PACKED with people though, when we were there...so watch out...as its hard to navigate through the isles when there are so many people/carts around. We found a lot of reasonably priced stuff...so they had a nice collection. Staff was super efficient and courteous. read more

Crap. Crap. Crap. Greedy company, RUDE workers who literally wont offer to give you a tissue, with running nose. Seriously. Given free stuff, with tax breaks, huge mark ups. Stupid manager refused to sell me Mickey mouse glasses because "2 days ago" they were on overpriced Collectible shelf. I come in that store spending HUNDREDS, NO THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS over the years. I think she was implying i took stickers off of cups I took off shelf literally in front of another sales associate who told me they were 69 cents each or something. We went here after going to the goodwill outlet, and after coming from the outlet this place looked like it belonged on rodeo drive, This is one of the nicest thrift type stores I have ever been in. I assume its pretty new since the place was very clean and organized. I didnt buy anything since the lady was the one looking for some good deals. We got some kitchen stuff at good prices. The place is well stocked with good deals on secondhand items in addition to lots of cheap new items as well. read more

Hella awesome Goodwill. I think I spent $50 on clothes here, and it was money well spent! I found a giant luggage bag while I was there too.. I flew to WA from TX to visit a friend an left with more clothes than I come with, so I needed the monster luggage bag lol. read more

This Goodwill is one of my faves. They have a mix of both new and used items, all for good prices. It was a little weird when one of the employees acted like I was going to steal a coat because I was trying it on, but I forgive her because it was awesome, and six dollars. I've found some great deals here on half-price color tag days. Bonus points for having a restroom. read more

Wow -this is a nice store! Went in here today just to look and see what I could find. Loads of good housewares and got a pair of pants for 50% off red tags. It's big and is loaded with clothes, used electronics, books, and toys, however there was loads of people. Clean thrift store which is rare nowadays. I prefer Goodwill over places like Value Village because the prices are cheaper - Value Village prices are getting outrageous for clothes! But again, a great store. read more

I shop at this store quite often. It always has a new and interesting selection of vintage/antiques (which is what I'm looking for) and I usually come away with a great bargain. However, the aisles are so bloody narrow that it's nearly impossible for two shopping carts to pass each other, especially if there is anything sticking out of a shelf like a wooden shelf. Instant claustrophobia! Mainly because of that, I try to shop when the store is not crowded. The only clothes I look for there are children's clothing, and their selection is very limited. read more

The store is ok, usually packed and you cant get thru the isles. Emoloyees dont ever acknowledge me and they seem to only be focused on getting more product to the floor. The store is organized and layed out nice tho and the prices are reasonable! read more

That's what I pay at Target in a nice box, and there I have 90 days to return. Maybe I missed something. Is this happening at all the second hand stores? I only shop for used clothes, and toys here, so can't say if everything has gone up or just my favorite depts. I live way closer to the North Everett Goodwill and hadn't ever made the trip to the South Everett Location. I was surprised at how much bigger it was. I was cruising the store and came across the best find of all and her name was Penny! She knew her way around the store, and was so knowledgeable, even with the crazyand random things I was looking for! It was busy at that time but Penny handled it wonderfully. She balanced a few customers and took care of all of us and was happy to do so. It was a change of pace from other places I have been around this time of year...and it is safe to say that I wish every retail store had a Penny. I dont Yelp much but I had to come and write about her and the nice store. She takes her job seriously and means business with out a doubt. I just enjoyed her so much. I will be making the longer drive to the South Everett store mostly because of Penny! Haha! Thank you guys!! read more

This Goodwill is amazing. I have found so many awesome finds, however, I am really disappointed at their prices. Goodwill seems to keep raising their prices. I tend to shop for clothes elsewhere, now because of the "Fashion Forward" thing they seem to be doing. I have seen shirts there for $20, which for a thrift store, is outrageous. I have, however found several amazing working electronics; I even found a Keurig! But pay attention to the prices! read more

I will NEVER attempt to donate to Goodwill EVER again. I don't know what happened to the philosophy that used to direct Goodwill, but they have change into a mercenary mess. When I was growing up my family, and most of the families we knew, donated to Goodwill because we knew that good used clothing would get distributed to the needy and refurbish-able goods (furniture, electronics, etc.) would be fixed up for sale by those people in the Goodwill rehabilitation program...thereby teaching them a skill and providing self-worth...all while generating salable products. NOT ANY MORE! Now, if the items you're bringing to them aren't near-perfect and automatically ready to be placed on the "showroom" floor, they don't want it. Oh, cry me a river, Goodwill! My wife and I took three office chairs in to this location that we no longer needed because we had to replace them with special ergonomic chairs. The chairs were in practically new condition...except for the fact that there was dust and a little dirt on them from the move to Goodwill. NOTHING THAT 5 MINUTES WITH A DAMP RAG WOULDN"T HAVE FIXED. But, they didn't want them because they were "dirty" and snarkily told us so. They would, however, throw them in their dumpster for us. So, they threw away three perfectly good chairs that were probably worth (based on other prices I've seen in their store) at least $45 each. I guess even charities have jumped on the entitlement bandwagon. read more
