I have been to this store may times. It is professionally managed and cared for by all volunteers. They are helpful, kind, and very clean. Although some prices are high, for the most part, considering what a pleasure it is to shop there, they are better than most thrift stores. Definately worth a visit. read more

I'm giving one star for the few volunteers that are kind and empathetic to all, the cause of helping students, and for the high-end items. I have been shopping here for so many years. Quality is very good and some of the staff are very nice. With that said--the white elderly, mostly upper-middle class women who volunteer here could use some classes on the topic of diversity, equity and inclusion. I am a Black, middle-class woman and have been repeatedly followed around this store about 60% of the times I have visited. Several times I have been asked to pay for my items while I'm in the middle of trying on clothes or while I'm still looking. I have also asked to have items held up front while I'm looking (because they have their higher end clothing locked on chains) Once I had several of the women who work there speak poorly of me and say that I had asked them to unlock the clothing and had no intention of buying them. This woman attempted to put my clothes back several times and I had to ask another cashier to please prevent that woman from touching my items or putting them back. I ended up spending almost $200, which is a lot for a thrift store. I have witnessed them do the same to Spanish speaking people as well as an African family last month. My husband who happens to be white has noticed a big difference in the way he is treated and even that I am treated much better when it's apparent we are a couple by the checkers. I have called at least three times and talked to the dark haired manager about this treatment over the years. It's disgusting and I am ashamed that it has taken me so long to write this. The only reason I continue to shop there is because I know the proceeds are for a good cause. In fact as a very poor child in Everett I benefited from the programs the proceeds go to. Something has got to give. I suggest the leadership looks at diversifying their board of directors and mandate a training on cultural competence. read more

Lots of great quality inventory at fair prices. Found some nice treasures. Clean and organized, helpful staff.

This is a great little thrift shop and a wonderful community organization. Prices are reasonable. This is also a good place to frequent if you collect fancy china. I have seen some amazing pieces roll through here. If you have an old Victorian house to furnish, this is the thrift shop where you are kost likely to find a fancy pitcher and basin (or even a chamber pot!) And a swanky doily to put under it. They have cl9thes, household goods, a few books and tools, and wall art. This is worth checking out. TIP: Be patient and polite with the cashiers. These are all volunteers. They are not as fast as the drive thru, but they are way nicer and far more accurate. read more

It's a very clean store and the selection of stuff seems to retain a certain quality, which I can appreciate. The staff is fine, I didn't have any negative interactions with them. However, the store is very overpriced. I shopped around during a craft event they had (that stuff was also overpriced) and it was very difficult to find clothing that was reasonably priced. I know this is a store connected to a charity, but I go to thrift stores for deals and there was none to be had here. read more

THE WORST. I've been shopping here for 4 years. I get followed everytime I go in. Wednesday was also followed , with a NEW SURPRISE. The cashier Tried to Scam my Debit card by Not scanning my item But Different Tags. My purchases came 13.00 and some change. She scanned items that came too OVER $50.00. An when I caught it it the MANAGER Threatened me ,saying if they refund MY MONEY ,an they find that it was in error they will "TAKE IT BACK"! (exact words) So I volunteered my DRIVER LICENSE an CELL Number to try to Ensure Her I wasn't trying to Scam them. YEAH they were the VICTIM!! I finally was able to pay for my stuff an NO SORRY For the confusion or mistake NO THANK YOU... I WILL BE BACK. PAY WITH CASH ONLY. Wonderful staff. I often need a place to donate amazing things and I always think of the assistance league in Everett. The volunteers are so lovely helpful and thankful for the donation. Stopped in here today since I was in the area. I have been to many thrift store and was pretty wowed! This is THE nicest thrift store I've been to as far as being spacious, organized and just nice -- inside and out! It really looks like a decent-sized boutique with super low prices. It is nice as someone who has a kid in a stroller to be able to get around without getting frustrated by narrow aisles. Back to great prices -- I saw a Beco Baby Carrier for $8 that looked to be in excellent condition. I bought a Donald Duck costume (baby size) from Disney World for $3 because all Halloween items were 50% off. They don't have much furniture as other places (unless they have some back room that I overlooked), but this is a great place for clothes and glassware/houseware. The staff are pleasant too. I love coming here to shop and see what treasures I can find. I love that the proceeds go to operation school bell which helps local low income school kids get new clothes, shoes, toiletries etc. it's not a huge thrift store, and a lot of things in their aren't my style but sometimes I find really good stuff in there! read more

This is a nice thrift store in Everett. Very tidy with colored tag specials. They definitely get a fair share of the well-heeled donating. My favorite thing about them is they do estate sales in the area. Their estate sales are top notch. I'm letting my secret out - a lot of the time they have a great magazine selection here - you have to scoop them up fast. But I like Sunset and usually I can get the CURRENT month for 50 cents. They follow you around. Never let me darken their door, suspicious old biddies. Had a hard day, decided to buy something springy from a place I used to like. I could see they were talking about someone but had no idea it was me. I had not taken a cart because I was only going to look at one or two things. I found several more things after criss crossing the store. One of the ladies told me that carts were available in kind of a "why don't you use one?" voice. Still didn't get it. Only when I came out and they were clustered around the door and then two people proceeded to check me out. It was a really creepy feeling. Their body language and stance was unbelievable. Let me never darken their door again! Good things be damned! I would rather have good people. read more

This is my absolute favorite thrift store, and as a person who regularly shops at all the local thrift stores and even works at one myself, I've seen a whole lot. I cannot say enough good things about this one. The store is pleasantly lit, no cold florescent lights and loud music, so you can browse around headache-free. They display everything so nicely, from their window outfits, jewelry, books, and tea sets. They really put a lot of care and time into making things easy to find and visually appealing. Everything is so nicely organized you almost feel like you could be shopping at a boutique. They have 6 nice big dressing rooms that are always clean and have working hooks and a chair to set your things on. Their selection of things are always so amazing and unique. There's a mix of modern-day and vintage stuff alike, and even if you shop there often there's always new things coming in to look at. Everything they put out is in good condition, even the older pieces of clothing - no weird smells! Best of all, the PRICES almost seem too good to be true. I have found vintage Pendleton clothing amongst other things for a few dollars and I almost feel guilty to be buying them for so little because I'm so used to other thrift store hiking up prices. I feel spoiled when I shop here! The ladies who work here are mostly older and are very sweet and sometimes a little sassy. :) The only thing that might bother some people is that it closes at five. While it closes at five, they do give you lots of sweet-but-firm reminders a while before 5 actually rolls around, so if you come in any time past four you might feel a bit chased out and hurried along while shopping. read more

It's really great when you donate here and 10 mins later they throw the stuff you think you donated into there dumpster which looks like fort Knox cause you know they don't want anybody stealing the stuff you donated and that they throw away what a great "assistance league read more

Really a pretty darn good little thrift store. Unlike the Goodwill and others, it doesn't have that thrift store smell and isn't overrun with scuzzy people. It is clean, well thought out and has some charm. The prices aren't bad and I have scored some super vintage linens at great prices. Just make sure to get there before 5 since they close kind of early. read more

Another good local thrift store! It's always nice to see a local place where LOCAL people help out LOCAL organizations - not in Seattle, not in Tacoma, but right in Everett. Loads of clothes, and an A-OK book collection (plus what Donna said, 2013 magazines in the one certain area. Saw last week's Time magazine in there which was really nice - no need to pay $4.99 at the supermarket for a magazine!) P.S. It is clean, well organized, and doesn't have that "thrift store smell". This is a weekly visit for me. Books, housewares, clothes for kids, men, women, hardware, shoes, etc... You have to get here early because they are volunteers and unlike some of the other thrift stores, they are not beating feet to get new product out. What that means to you is picked over. They also have a boutique section...yes...someone picks out what they think should be higher priced it goes in this section. Sometimes the items and the price are laughable. Still, if you are on a used item binge....good place to cruise through. read more
