The Burlington employee after yelling at the only two customers of color

I came to the Shoreline Burlington Coat Factory at 24111 Hwy 99 Edmonds, WA 98026 with my eleven year old to get her winter gear. While my daughter was trying on coats, an employee (see photo) yelled from across the store for us to 'hang all those coats up when you're done.' To have an employee yell at customers from across the store is unacceptable and rude. The statement to hang the coats back up was unnecessary. We had been trying on coats for awhile and had put everything back immediately after trying it on with the exception of two items; one picked out to purchase and one that was currently being tried on for a 2nd purchase. There were several other customers trying on clothing and bed wear in the racks next to us, white customers and not people of color like my daughter and I, and nothing was said to those customers about putting clothing back nor were they yelled at from across the store. When confronted about why she yelled at my daughter and I, the employee ran to hide in clothing racks. It took over 10 minutes for me to get the store manager, Fiona, called after asking other associates to call for her three separate times. It's a shame that my eleven year old and I can't even do something as simple as shop for basic winter necessities without being hit with racism and rudeness. Yes, the prices are great, no, the experience isn't worth losing my peace of mind and traumatizing my child with experiences like this.

This is the woman who will steal your cart so u can't purchase anything.

How horrible experience that I had from visiting this place! I visited Christine's with my two…read morekids. The owner was very rude when she saw the kids. The kids were not touching anything, they were just looking around like grown-ups do. The owner told me to hold onto the kids so that they would not play with the candle light which my kids did not even attempt to play with. My son tried to climb up to the chair to seat down, but the owner told him to get down. My daughter who loves fashion was walking away from me to look around while I was getting my son from the chair, and the owner directed me to get my daughter, and told me that her store was not for kids and asked for us to leave. When we were just leaving, I heard her saying "the lawsuit to be waiting" Hey, I understand that the kids are active. However, her attitudes were extremely rude. All I want was a nice scarf since it was little chilly. My kids did not cause any problem in her store. They are very good kids, and the matter in fact, I get many compliments from strangers how well my kids behave. With my husband being a pediatric psychologist, we try our best to teach our kids with very best behavior with good ethics. Any mom will understand the difficulty of shopping with kids. I did not expect any support from anybody, but I certainly did not expect such a shameful treatment by any business. It was even embarrassing to talk with her in front of the other customer. Was that a discrimination against kids? Or since I was an Asian, she didn't want me in her store!?

And that story......so for fun we got ice cream...and strolled down to her store...we walked in and mind you we are 30-40 year olds ...business women...she told us "I don't want food in here." as if we would spill or wipe dirty hands on something! The ice cream was in a bowl..not a cone..needless to say it proved my point to my co worker! I wonder if her husband pays for her store... It would explain her lack of liking people or good sales? Don't give this lady your money.....she won't crack a smile of gratitude.

This TjMaxx is the best location in the northern area. The selection is vast. They are always…read morestocked up on what I need. These days it's workout gear, baby items and skin care. Wow, their skin care is such a great value and wide selection of what you need. It is much cheaper than going to your Sephora or Ulta. The kitchen section is always stocked up with fun essentials. So when I was told that if I opened an account I would receive a discount on my purchase, I thought, I don't want another credit card, but I can cancel it as soon as I get it. So I was asked for my driver's license to start the process and my license dropped down a crack between two cabinets that are connected. I stood there for three hours while lots of employees attempted to rescue my license, but in the end they said they were going to have to call in someone who could get in there. I felt terrible, how was I supposed to get home without my driver's license? I did ask, "are you expecting me to illegally drive without my driver's license?" I know this was a freak accident, but I really felt distressed, however I did manage to drive home without incident. My husband who is very handy made a special trip there to see if he could rescue my license, but spent a couple hours trying with no success. I drove to the DOL, but the amount of people waiting was horrendous! So next I went to their website, but the first appointment I could get to replace my license was two months away! I ended up taking my appointment sheet in there and waited four hours before they called my number and finally got a temporary. In the meanwhile, T J Maxx was trying to get someone with the tools to take apart these cabinets to rescue my license. In the end, I told them since I had my new license on the way, they didn't need to distroy these cabinets. I would like to thank Anita the manager and Luis the District Manager for recognizing what an ordeal this was for me. Some of the reviews mention poor customer service and perhaps there are individuals who are not customer focused, but I would seek out the manager or District Manager because I found them to be very helpful!

This is the best antique/vintage mall in the Seattle area! It's HUGE!!!! So much stuff without much…read morerepetition between the booths. Prepare to spend hours! Everyone I've interacted with has been super friendly and willing to go the extra mile if you are searching for a random oddball thing. Sometimes checkout lines are long if you go near closing time. I much Aurora Antique Pavilion to Fremont Vintage Mall (extremely expensive and not great selection) and Lander Street Vintage (good for some things but pricier.) I also like it better than the Star Mall in Snohomish which has a lot of poorly maintained booths and there's more of a musty smell at the Star Mall which might get into textiles.

It was marked s925 so I was fairly confident it was real because faking sterling rings isn't very common. I decided to test it anyway alongside confirmed 925 silver tested in an xrf machine to be genuine as well as .800 silver also xrf tested as genuine. it had no reaction whatsoever to the acid test where as the confirmed silver next to it tested just as it should which means yes, it is actually fake. I was a bit upset and rightfully so as this ring cost a bit much for a real sterling ring and was sold to me and advertised as genuine. when I decided to call and try to work something out on what to do with this trash ring sold to me as genuine for the price of a genuine ring. the staff member i ended up talking to was very argumentative and rude and flat out denied it was fake just because it was stamped as real. what does a stamp have to do with anything if the metal itself is not what it's stamped as? Refused to refund me on a blatant scam. If an item is advertised as genuine it NEEDs to be genuine. It IS an illegal practice to sell counterfeit products and offer no refund despite refund policies, as consumer protection laws override refund policies in a case like this. It is ILLEGAL to deny me my refund and you will Hear more from me. Very unprofessional would never shop here again unless I want to buy more counterfeit items for marked up prices and face illegal policy practices . Would give a rating of 0 if I could.
