I don't like that everything's locked up - I understand why they did it - but I feel a more efficient way would've been putting it behind the counter and having an employee manage it. Or you can order it and pick it up. But having to find an employee to get the unlock the boxes and pay for all the boxes just raise the prices on items that are needed because people were stealing. So I feel like this hurts the consumer that actually pays for their items. I don't know who sold them these locked closets, but it was a bad idea. Also, there's too much selection need to simplify. The selection is overwhelming. Stores have too many items overstimulating. So people are running around with earphones on because they're too stimulated. Been coming to this Target for years. I enjoyed the clean layout and facility. Their staff was always helpful when I reached out to them for questions. I also have used their CVS pharmacy. All have met my expectations. Sometimes I wonder why some shelves would be empty since covid, but so far I still get all the stuff I need, so no complaints there. Two words, GIANT TARGET, versus the ones in Seattle: Downtown, Northgate, UDistrict, and Ballard. The latter two has closed. I've stopped in previously, usually for a detour for The Homie or items for The Nephew. This was the first time to create a Target account to place an online order for store pickup (11/25/23 - 11/26/23). I appreciated the ease of locating the item and its availability at various store sites. I was also given an update when it was ready for pickup. Why 3 stars? Poor signage of where to get assistance. Big sign near entrance says Returns /Exchanges, but dinky sign for Order Pickups. Scanner used by store associate was glitchy to scan the bar code. And the 80 cents extra charge for a bag fee, of which was never received. UPDATE: bag fee was removed because of the completed onsite/in-person pickup. Thankfully, a limited item was available post Black Friday. However, I rarely go out of my way to shop here. It can get a bit busy and congested with its proximity to Alderwood Mall. read more

They fired all the cashiers and installed all self checkout stands and now they closed all the self checkout stands and can't train new cashiers fast enough to replace the ones they fired years ago. It's a pretty big store with a good selection. They have a nice selection of women's plus size clothes. However, the way things are set throughout the store is confusing. They changed product placement a few years ago and it doesn't make any sense, which can be frustrating. They have a bigger seasonal selection than the Everett store. I do not like this parking lot. The store is really busy and people and constantly coming and going in their cars. The car pickup always takes longer than the one at the Everett store. This Target can get packed during Black Friday shopping. I have found there to be a lull after the first couple open hours where the line isn't too long. They do a good job of marking the line on the ground and making it easy to follow up to the cash registers at the front of the store. During non-peak shopping times it isn't too busy and crowded. On the store level there are offerings from electronics to sporting goods to clothing to grocery to home furnishings to hygiene, etc. Though the offerings in each category can be a bit limited, I suppose the price to pay for having a wide spattering of things. Target still is my go to location for comfortable lingerie (bras and panties) at a decent price. If you find a bra you like I recommend stocking up on it as merchandise can change quickly and the bra you like might no longer be available (I've had this happen with some of the sports bras and convertible back bras). I have no issues with the inventory or cleanliness of this store. I come here very frequently for my weekly essentials and I never have a problem finding anything. The service from employees is also satisfactory. This would be a fantastic Target if it wasn't for the line. It's gotten to the point that I actually set a timer to see how fast I can get to the register. The shortest wait I've had in my last 3 visits is 12 minutes... Maybe we cross-train some of the floor employees to come up to ring when it's super backed up? I don't know, it just doesn't make sense to see like 15 staff members but only have 3 registers open. I enjoy visiting Target because of its cleanliness, size, and more comprehensive selection than other Target locations. The customer service is good whenever I need assistance. We went to a wedding on Orcas Island last month, and on our way from Seattle to the ferry terminal in Anacortes, my friends, my husband, and I stopped by this Target in Lynnwood to stock up on supplies for the weekend. Mostly, we bought booze--a moderate amount only, as both the Friday night dinner and the Saturday wedding were open-bar events. We just figured if we picked up a few six-packs, someone in our house would drink it. This Target had a solid selection--we picked up some Coronas and Deschutes IPAs, as well as some canned wine and a hard seltzer called White Claw, which was basically Mike's Hard Lemonade for the La Croix crowd. We ended up plowing through half of our supply at the ferry terminal, waiting for the boat to take off. We picked up a few other things, too. Kevin L. was dismayed by the low inventory of kombucha, but Melissa K. was pleased with the low price of the generic brand Pepcid. I remembered that I hadn't shaved my legs in a long time, like maybe not this calendar year, and decided to get a razor. The store was nice and easy to navigate. I need to tell you guys beware of the entrance and ramp leading towards it. It is such a hazard to have this big old cement ramp and a green sign saying enter. I fell right on my face and stubbed the core to my toe. Is most broke my phone falling down. All the customers came to ask if I was alright and that it looked like it would've hurt. But there wasn't a front end manager there in charge of maintenance. I don't get what they're thinking... like why would you put a yellow flat ground where the carts go in the middle, but not make the other ground flat too? I'm so mad right now. This one guy followed me from mens and throughout womens department pretending he was checking tags. I watched him for a few minutes and he truly wasn't working just pretending to work. Then in the electronics department the bald guy said I didn't have to check out at the electronics and then proceeded to follow me to the checkout stands. One of the worst Targets you can choose to go to. I love Target, and I can't recall a single bad experience I've had in any Targets in Washington state. My friend and I went here amidst the peak of the whole coronavirus outbreak, and they were decently stocked. There were a lot of hand-soaps, and my friend wanted to stock up since he's in the high risk category and doesn't want to go out a lot. There wasn't a sign posted saying that there were limits, so my friend grabbed 6 bottles of 6 different scented Method brand hand-soaps that he wanted to try. When we got to the register to pay, the cashier rudely informed us with an attitude that only one bottle per person was allowed. This left my friend and I frantically trying to decide which scent he wanted to keep. A kind lady in front of us offered to buy one for us, and the cashier rudely responded with "you're not allowed to do that". Lmao. I could tell that the lady felt embarrassed by the employee's comment, and I felt bad that she was reprimanded for trying to do a kind gesture. My friend and I bought one soap each, and left without any problems. I thought that this instance was a fluke, so I never wrote a review about it. 2 weeks ago, I went from Targets to Targets trying to find a plushie that my friend was looking for. This location, was one of the locations I decided to revisit to see if they had the item. I hadn't been back since the soap incident months ago. I went up to an employee who seemed to be a manager, and she was fixing/cleaning up the toy area. I approached her and asked her if she had the toy in stock or had seen it (while showing her a picture of what it looked like), and her response was "Nope. I don't even work in this department. The toy department employees are gone for the day." I said "okay, thank you" and left. I've only been to this location twice, and both times the employees have had a stank attitude. Lol. WELCOME TO TARGET: EVERYONE'S HAPPY PLACE. I swear the service that I experience at Target is phenomenal. There is an older black woman that works here and has for the last (at least) 2 years. My first interaction with her was after I had given birth to my daughter, and had to get more pampers. My daughter was only two weeks old, and she helped me check out, and before I left, she very lovingly she went - "Now you take that baby home! She's too young to be out." - That sounds like it could be a reach, but you could tell that she cares and for that I appreciate her. The employees are really helpful and they remember you, which on a bad day makes it a happy place. They don't ask you questions about your personal life, or what's going on, because they don't know you well enough! But they know you well enough to say hello to you and your family and ask how you have been doing. read more
