Some seasonal items, Tuesday 19 November 2024.

Shopping at Hobby Lobby in Lynnwood today (Tuesday 19 November 2024) I observed an abundance of Holidays themed merchandise. Oh maybe a good 1/3 of the store was dedicated to 'Tis the Season. The parking lot was packed and there was a number of people shopping, however it was not what I would guess it could be like during peak times. I was on the search for a paper-related gift for my mother. She had been taking drawing type art classes and so I wanted to scope out if they had any instructional books (origami or coloring) or storage containers. I found a few different storage portfolio type items. The option I went with was an accordion-opening style of storage folder for rectangular papers, the other options were for square shaped papers. Lines at checkout were on the shorter side and moved quickly, the cashier was friendly.

I was sad to hear they stop the weekly coupons but love the fact that they had almost everything I need on this trip for 50% yes 50% off. Score!!

Huge store, full of every holiday decor and crafty thing you could possibly be looking for. Tons of regular home decor too. I would guess 65% of their inventory is decor. Their markdowns are great. They do not sell fabric, but Joann Fabrics is across the intersection from them. My daughter was looking for a very specific charm. She wanted a honey pot charm (think Winnie the Pooh)....and they had one!!! I couldn't believe it. They have 1-2 aisles full of just jewelry making supplies. Sometimes I just stroll the store to kill time while my daughter is in class. There's always so many fun things to discover at Hobby Lobby.

The WORST craft store (company) in the world. Shitty products and horrible selections. No Halloween or Hanukkah merchandises.

    Review Highlights - Hobby Lobby

I'm really into crochet and sewing and trying to get into scrap booking and Hobby Lobby is the best place around to get materials.

I love HomeGoods and shop at many of their locations often. I was at H-mart across the street and was delighted to see a HomeGoods across the street. I decided to go in but quickly regretted it. One of the first problems with this location is that they are overrun with inventory. This isn't a large store, so I don't know why they have so much stuff. There isn't enough space in the store to display it all in a safe and neat manner. I used to work retail many moons ago, so seeing unpacked boxes hanging out on the floor, as well as a wall of unpacked cardboard boxes in the lighting section, tells me that their back storage area must also be full. There were also about 5-6 tables outside of the store with tons of stuff on them, all clearance that they were trying to get rid of. The store looks sloppy and unprofessional. It's like the manager and the staff just to give a damn. The shelves are also a mess and the merchandise was sloppily hanging on the shelves. There was one aisle that had pillows on the floor. There were so many that they were blocking the way. You couldn't get through without stepping on them or tripping. Are they trying to get sued??? Honestly, there was just shit everywhere in and out of boxes. Even if this was just a bad and busy day, I will never come back. The location in Queen Anne on Armory is much nicer and better run. If you want a nice shopping experience where you aren't at risk of injury due to store items on the floor, don't shop here.

It's better stocked and organized, making it a more enjoyable shopping experience. The prices and quality here are typically better than Amazon, particularly for organizing items. I find that the quality of bedsheets here are a better deal when compared to Costco. Storage boxes, garbage bins, high thread count bedsheets, and party supplies are all great deals and have a lot of personality. If you're looking for actual furniture or cooking pans, look to purchase somewhere else with a good return policy (like Costco or Amazon). I generally only buy home accents from HomeGoods. The checkout staff are generally pretty friendly, which adds to the positive shopping experience. If you're looking for unique, quality items at great prices, check out the Lynnwood HomeGoods over Woodinville or Bellevue.

E.A. said it could not be repaired (WHAT?) and the fabric was discontinued. How can a $3,000 loveseat spring not be repaired? And what kind of crappy quality are they selling for an upscale price? I am disgusted by Ethan Allen. They refused to consider or recommend any local business to repair the springs. Their quality has greatly diminished, and the customer service is nil. To top it off, they look like they are going out of business. There are fewer furniture pieces to consider, and they were closed for lunch when I tried to visit the store. Not good. I will never buy from them again.

We didn't receive the stools at the end of August, so we contacted Ethan Allen. They said we'd receive them in September. Then, October. Then, November. Then, December. I was actually fine with this because I understand that there are severe supply chain issues and people are doing the best they can under the circumstances. Stuff happens. However, it was annoying that we had to repeatedly contact them instead of them letting us know what was going on. Finally, in January, 2022, we received the stools after inquiring once again. They look nice but upon reviewing the invoice, there's a $199 delivery fee. WTF.
