I came here to check out their K-beauty products. I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of brands they carried. The selection can be a little overwhelming, so it's better to do some research before your visit. However, I also noticed that their inventory turnover seems to be quite fast, so many products I saw on social media were no longer available. Nonetheless, it's still a great place to find good deals. I was able to check out efficiently, but the person who assisted me was a bit too persistent in trying to persuade me to apply for their credit card to get 10% off. I love this store and it's super close to my house, unfortunately I have come in here a few different times now and there are dogs in the store. I love dogs, I am allergic to dogs, I carry an EpiPen. I don't want to shop for clothes that have dog hair on them because somebody's dog is rubbing against them, I don't want to have to take a Zyrtec or use my EpiPen because somebody's dogs are in the store. I'm not in a pet store, I'm in a clothing store. If they are not working dogs then no, they should not be allowed in the store. "There's no public restroom" according to an associate. Fairly certain it's unlawful to deny a customer access to a restroom in a public establishment as well as against the Americans with Disabilities Act. I didn't really care to use the restroom, but can't recommend a place that makes up their own rules like that. read more

Bad quality jewelry I purchased some items and first time I buy earrings and bracelets here. I was so excited to try my Rachel Zoe $12 earrings and as soon as I try to remove them from the plastic hanger the metal piece comes off. I had to go back and return on top of being unable to use a bathroom and only one cashier worked while the other one's just chat on the corner, when Gabriela finally is done talking and I explained what happened she told the other lady that my earrings "apparently" just broke off. Really? Do o have time to spend and come to choose nice items to break them myself and feel like I am lying? While in pain hoping to use a bathroom? The other lady that was chatting away with her before I am assuming is the manager. She assisted me with a better attitude. Please let customers use the bathroom! This isn't Nordstrom nobody can't take a bunch of cheap items in the purse anyways. I wanted to buy two chairs earlier but my need to use a bathroom stopped me from doing it. Thank God I didn't. I love shopping here and finding deals! The staff is friendly and helpful. They work quick so if there is a long line it will move fast. The bathroom is nice and clean. It's a little hidden, in the corner. They have a nice selection of home things. I can also find something there I need. I wish they had a larger plus size section. For years, anytime I needed decent stuff for a good price this was the best place to go. Unfortunately, every time I'm there now they've done something else to move closer to becoming a Burlington Coat Factory ghetto type store. First they started cable locking their cheap coats to the rack so you couldn't try them on without finding someone to unlock them. Now, going into the fitting room is comparable to passing through airport security. Each item has to be hung on a rack to be closely inspected for quantity, size, price, etc. Then, upon exiting, everything has to be placed back on the rack to verify what you brought out is the same as what you took in. There's a limit of 6 items. I came out with 6 items, each with a price tag attached. Trust me, Karen, I'm not going to risk arrest for $12 shorts. read more

The bargains found here are amazing and so worth the time and energy to shop. I even got to know a wonderful cashier, Melvin who deserves some kudos. I didn't have my TJ Maxx card with me and he" rerang" the entire purchase from previous trip via the receipt to make sure I got my reward points. What amazed me was how quick Melvin inputted over twenty items with ten or more sku numbers each in the blink of an eye all-the-while cheerfully chatting with me. Melvin was witty and down right funny. He is quite the multi-tasker and very personable and sincere. He made making a "return" a fun experience rather than a chore. If only more people appreciated their jobs like this, the retail industry wouldn't have such a poor reputation. read more

after best manager left this store this place has gone down the trash. today I came by around 2pm, found a few items but was in a hurry so asked if I could put things on hold. a light blonde brunette with large glasses who was putting away shoes told me to leave my items at the last cashier table and asked for my name and said she would save it for me. came back at 7:15pm and my 6 items could not be found. the supervisor Monica came up and I asked what will you do for the inconvenience of not holding the items your store promised to hold for me. she stated, " for your inconvenience you can go on our site and place a review." she smirked and rudely raising her voice smirked, thank you very much!" in front of several other coworkers, I found the worker that placed my items on hold this time shopping for herself, I asked about the items she seemed to be embarrassed at first as though she forgot but then stated "I did leave them their for you don't know what they did with them." I left without spending a penny. with this kind of service I will have to find other stores that actually provide customer service. I love this TJ Maxx location. I live in Renton but often go to this location whenever I get a chance while visiting my parents. I've been to this location, the Northgate, Factoria, and Kent locations. As far as I know, this store has the biggest selection out of all four. I have found items here that I didn't find at the other locations. I love their prices. Some of them are a very good discount. The staff is friendly and the cashiers are quick. I enjoy shopping here every time I come in. And the parking situation is a plus because they have a huge parking lot. read more

This location seems a little smaller than other TJ Maxx, so they don't have the biggest selection of clothes, but they still have lots of good finds. Very little selection for boys clothing-its literally 1 rack. I went back again to shop for bedding and i asked one of the workers for assistance and she pointed me to the front of the store. I laughed-if i wanted to walk up there i would. But im asking you, who happens to be in front of me with a name tag. Extremely lazy customer service and missed opportunity-i walked out and purchased what i was looking for at Home Goods. Good experience overall; pickings (especially designer womens' dresses) are a little slim, but their junior dept is much better-seems to be their major focus. I persevered & found a Ralph Lauren Polo nautical themed T, a really nice Buxton wallet, a pair of kicky canvas sneakers & a nice crossbody purse with lots of compartments for an upcoming trip. Staff was friendly & helpful. The store is clean & well-organized & there's a nice mix of upscale & ordinary more budget friendly items (which are still better quality you'll find elsewhere). It does have a lot of different departments, including home & pets--maybe TOO much stuff for a relatively small store. I'd personally like to see a narrower focus so they can expand the womens' clothing. :) read more

I bought 6 shirts from them recently to gift during the holiday season. One of the shirts had a rip in it that I didn't notice when I bought it. All shirts were gifted to friends and family in Europe except this one, which then returned back with me. I went back to this store to return it or replace it after 30 days and they refused to honor the return even though they knew it was purchased from them. Cashier was polite and apologized for not being able to return the shirt, while their manager was so rude. She was very disrespectful and accused me as if I am trying to return an item that is purchased elsewhere. She didn't even show any interest to support by any means. read more

The bargains never end at this great store. The store is extremely clean, always well kept with a wonderful selection of items. I am always impressed with the courtesy and friendliness of the employees of this store. They are all very customer oriented and helpful. I shop here quite a bit and have gotten to know some of the people that work there. Kudos to Dell and Ms. Karen for their constant friendly and cheerful attitude. All the cashiers are great but Desiree is so sweet and personable. It is obvious that the staff take care and pride in their work and I enjoy chatting with the staff while shopping. Tried to buy a purse from Michael kors, there were many different colors, the color I wanted was 20.00 more than the rest of the colors, the sales associate asked his manager why the price difference and she told him different ship dates and wouldn't reduce the price. Needless to say didn't buy the purse, walked out and will also be cutting up my TJ Maxx card. Can't believe they lost a 200.00 sale for 20.00 dollars. I actually found what I was looking for, so that's great. Unfortunately the item (shirt) had a stain and it was the only one left. Thankfully the stain was kind of incognito at the bottom of the shirt. At checkout my cashier was super nice, I asked if there might be another one of these shirts somewhere or I could get a discount. My cashier then went and asked her manager if she could give me the discount, the manager rudely looked me up and down and then said "no". Now I purchased the shirt anyway, but my problem with this is that I have been a cashier at these types of places and almost ALWAYS is a discount given for DAMAGED items. Luckily I was told I can return the item if the stain doesn't come out. Let's just hope that spending an extra few minutes trying to get the stain out works. read more

I shop here A LOT and I'm a rewards member. Tonight was the first night I don't think I will be returning due to customer service. I live in Everett and will probably drive to Lynnwood from now on. My boyfriend and I finished our shopping already and both of our hands were full with items. I decided to stop and look at purses real quick to see if anything caught my attention, they lock up majority of their purses which I understand why. I found something and it was one that was locked so we waited for a manager to come unlock it. While he unlocked it I was holding the wallet in my hand, he asked if I wanted to look at it first and I said no this is the one I want. He proceeds to pull it out of my hand and says I have to take it up front as he is looking at us up and down, I said to him we're done shopping and heading up to the register now, he goes I still have to take it up front and walks away. As we're getting checked out he proceeds to watch us from a distance like he's waiting to see if I'm actually purchasing the wallet and continues to watch until we're out the door. Way to make someone who spends tons of money with you guys feel like a criminal/thief. I understand procedures and protocols but he could have definitely approached that differently and found a nicer way to say what he said. I have never been treated that way and watched like a hawk, not a good feeling and makes you not want to return. read more
