The order was scheduled initially for 4 days out. A day later, I was notified that the item was backordered, not actually in the local warehouse, and wouldn't be available until much later. Salesperson was nice. Customer service is terrible to the fact; I will never buy from Ashley's Furniture ever again. Bought a mattress 2/1/26. Delivered 2/14/26, after a few days, maybe 5 day. Cannot sleep. It's too firm. When we call, we get the call center which tells us we need to sleep on this mattress for 30 days. I will be crippled by then, Back and hips are hurting, my significant other and I cannot sleep. When calling the 1 800 (the only number given) and that they do not have a direct number to the store. Very unsatisfied If you buy the wrong mattress, you will suffer with all the run around. I guess I have to drive back in there to really talk to someone. read more

We've been to this place a number of times and even purchased a couch that we are happy with. However, sales has gotten much more aggressive and uncomfortable. We barely stepped one foot into the store before we were met with a barrage of questions. This isn't totally uncommon (unfortunately) but generally when you tell them that you are "just browsing" and will let them know if you have questions, it ends there. In this case the woman followed us around the store at some paces behind. At first I just thought she was making rounds, but no it was like a bad PI movie where she stayed just far enough back but it was as obvious as someone hiding behind a skinny lamppost. Eventually we ducked into a different room only to find she followed us there to ask again about help. At that point we regrettably had to get testy and tell her to stop following us around the store. It was really uncomfortable and soured the experience. We left shortly after and won't be coming back. I understand that these sales people are commissioned and probably pressured. I feel bad for them but at the same time, this is not my responsibility. This doesn't make it okay to stalk your customers and pester them when they make it clear upfront that they don't want to engage. A really gross experience that shows a basic lack of respect for your customers. read more

I was talked into the extended warranty with the company named "Extend". I put in a claim and they denied it immediately and said I had to go back to Ashley Furniture. Ashley also denied it. I also had a price discrepancy on my order and when I called I was told by the "manager on duty" that he would have the sales person call me back. Well that never happened. So all in all I paid for a 5 year warranty that is no good and I over paid for the couch that had a different cost on their web site. The product is very thin material for the $1600 I paid. So over priced.. I wouldn't buy from here, no communication except very pleasant when you are in the store and buy the product. Then they vanish. read more

We went in looking specifically for a recliner set that had pet resistant fabric. The sales lady took us directly to a set, told us she had a couple of cats and that this was the one to get. It wasn't crazier priced than anything else - so we got it. Within 24 hrs, our pets had done damage. We contacted the store and they said some pets were different than others...... So one year later we are out a significant amount of money and the whole set has been destroyed. These people lie. Look out for yourself. read more

They delivered a coffee table to my daughter. It was supposed to be all put together but arrived un assembled and in a box instead. When she opened it, the table is damaged. She immediately called them and now they won't refund her money until they pick it up and look it over. Fine. But they keep postponing the pick up day and today told her they have no one to pick it up until the first of the year! She's supposed to sit with that heavy box of broken furniture in her living room through the holidays? This was a $600 tablecloth that she received broken and now can't even get her money back for? After sales service is terrible from the Lynnwood store. Their delivery person took $$$ to remove the old bed set and to drop it at the recycling center. Instead of dropping off at the recycling center they dumped it next to the Condo garbage collection area. When I call Ashley to get a refund, they refused to give me the delivery person's contact info by saying they are outsourced and they do not have the contact information. Not only was it more expensive than we were anticipating; but the employee WOULD NOT LEAVE US ALONE. It was honestly insane that we asked multiple times to just browse and he would interrupt or interject into our conversations out of nowhere. We would look at a certain couch and he made us follow him to a different couch, maybe 3-4 times the price, and when we asked to just be left to browse he'd then come in and tell us random facts about stuff in our general area. I wish there was a way to give Ashley's Lynnwood store a half star, because that is what they deserve. On 4/26/24, I purchased a sofa and ottoman, a dining set, entertainment center and assorted home accessories. I received a delivery date of 5/21 which seemed excessively long, but it was what it was. On 5/16, I received a text asking me to confirm delivery on 5/21/24. I called the number to confirm and the employee didn't even ask who I was. She just proceeded to spew out what seemed like the typical speech hat they would give me a 4-hour delivery window the day of and that someone 18 or older would need to be present. AGAIN, she didn't know who I was. When, told her that, she then asked for identifying information and looked me up and confirmed delivery. Unbelievably, later that day, I received three more texts asking me to confirm delivery which I ignored because things seemed to have gone off the rails on Ashley's end. After two text confirmations, their continued delivery communications felt like harassment. How many times should you have to confirm delivery and how long does take for the texts and calls to stop. Unfortunately, 2 days. Also, there was a voicemail after text. I went to the store to complain about this confusion and disruption. The response and customer service was lackluster. They did not care. On delivery day, things went well. I was given a 9 am - 1pm window. The guys arrived at 11:30 and were done by noon. They were kind and efficient and respected my space. The new furniture looks great, but the road to getting it was messy and frustrating. I will NEVER buy from Ashley again. Do better Ashley. read more

The Ashley Homestore was great. The delivery was horrible. They use a third party delivery contractor (Southwestern FN). These guys raise incompetence to a new level. I had a 4 hour window for delivery on 6/21. I waited in my apartment. Instead of their delivery crew coming into the building and talking to the concierge or knocking on my apartment door. They called my cell phone. It was in the other room and I did not have my hearing aides in. Because I didn't get the call, they assumed I wasn't there and did not make the delivery. So now they tell me they cannot make the delivery today because they are out of the area. My response is that they are in a truck. Drive back in the area and do what they were supposed to do in the first place. Then, I was told by Ashley the delivery would be rescheduled to Sunday the 23rd. Then the delivery company called and told me they don't know when it can be rescheduled. I really like the piece of furniture I bought and I got a good deal on it. If not for that I would just cancel the order and get a refund. So to get my delivery I have to put up with this nightmare of a delivery company. read more

My entire experience was a nightmare. I was very specific about what I wanted and the sales lady told me the sofa that we liked was all of those things (stain resistant, high performance fabric and washable cushions) so we purchased it. When I got home, I did my own research and it turns out it wasn't any of those things. So, I called to cancel my order but it took over an hour to even talk to someone who could help me. And then when I did get help, the store manager told me how sorry he was and was very nice and reassuring that he would fix it and cancel my order. A week later, I still had not received a refund so I decided to call and the guy I talked to (I think his name was Mike) was actually very helpful and nice and completely honest with me about the fact that my order actually had not been canceled at all. I finally was able to get it cancelled and refunded but I will not be shopping at Ashley furniture again. Do not recommend. However, Mike was very helpful and nice and I think he is great at his job. Update to the original post: I was able to go online to Ashley Furniture and purchase the same couch for cheaper with a sooner delivery date than quoted in-store and NO FORCEFUL salesperson refusing to remove protection. The couch in store on the date of my review was 1099.00 and online the same day it was 999.00. There were also cheaper delivery fees online! The total cost for the couch after taxes and delivery was 1105.99 so approximately five dollars more than in-store. Never stepping inside this store again. It also shows a lot that after my review, the store made no attempt to review or resolve the treatment I received from their staff member. Clearly, they condone it. read more

I'm happy this store took over this large abandoned building. There are lots of furniture stores in Lynnwood, but there was not an Ashley nearby. I had previously found myself having to drive to other towns to check out their stock. I have been searching for a new couch set for years. I like that I can stop into this store when running other errands and see what's new without taking special time out of my day. I appreciate that this store mostly just has the employees introduce themselves and then they leave you alone. This makes it easy to walk in and around the store with little inconvenience to yourself. We went last on a busy day and had to go ask for someone to help us purchase something, I prefer this kind of shopping. I've been looking for a couch set for a long time as I want something specific and I appreciate that they don't try to convince me to consider other options. We happened to stumble upon an amazing early black Friday sale and finally have new couches. We decided we might as well get a new mattress while we were at it. I had some concerns about not buying from an actual mattress store, but soon discovered that the store person was actually quite knowledgeable about mattresses. Our wait time to get things delivered was not very long. Communication was good. We got multiple emails asking if we wanted to move up our delivery when things arrived in stock sooner than expected. The delivery was smooth and the deliverers called to verify if it was okay to come earlier than their provided window. They set everything up just the way we wanted and came and left within 30 minutes. read more

Their delivery people destroyed my property on set up and for the last 5 weeks I am trying to get a reimbursement. The mangaer is conveniently unavailable and never returns my calls . I placed many calls by now and this as soon as I get out of work early and determined when they will be the busiest, I will show up in the store and make sure all custoers around will hear my complaint and the unprofessionality of this management. I havent even got an aplogy. This incidend was just the last straw of several issues I had with them. Delivery had beed recheduled at the last minute twice, they modified my bed base without my permission and brike things in the process of the set up. Make sure you keep a very close eye on the guys who come to your house for any unauthorized behavior. read more

Gotta love having your order delayed because they decide to just give your furniture to another order because I was waiting on a chase to arrive at the warehouse. This pushed out my delivery date out at least a week (after getting a confirmation that it was delivering at the 72 hour mark). Let's hope the chase doesn't get snagged up on someone else's order because the love seats aren't in yet. Here's to receiving my couch in a years time. Yikes, yikes, yikes! I purchased a sofa and queen bed set from them back in mid-March. I also paid $200 for "Premium Delivery," which includes delivery of the items into the home, assembly, and removal of trash - I was able to schedule the delivery by the end of the month. On delivery, the headboard of the bed was damaged (it looks like they dropped it on the edge of the truck so there's a C-shaped dent along the bottom). The delivery guys had to bring my sofa around back to the sliding glass door. Without asking, they started to use a power drill to start unscrewing the plates and screws on my sliding door to remove it so they could widen the opening for the sofa to fit through. They still couldn't get the sofa to fit and told me that they didn't know how to put the door back together but that I could hire a maintenance/handy-man who could finish taking apart the door, help me move the sofa inside myself, and put the door back. With that, they left, leaving the sofa on my patio, screws from the sliding door on the ground, trash and screen door around the sofa, and with a broken door that clicked and caught and refused to slide or lock without being lifted into place. I Called Ashley to get them to pick up the sofa they left (also to request a partial refund for the "premium delivery"). They told me they might get me on the truck schedule sometime that week, and agreed to refunding me half of the delivery charge, but didn't tell me that I needed to go in-person to get it (luckily I was in the area the next day and stopped by). I also received a call from a customer service rep who informed me that I needed to send photos of the sofa and door damage, and that it would take 24-48 hours to process, 10-14 days to schedule a pickup, and an additional 24-28 hours to process a refund; I let her know that the patio is street-facing and our property does not have any gate or fencing. The next day, I saw on the delivery tracking system that I was scheduled as stop #14 for a sofa pickup, so I called dispatch to confirm and they claimed they had "no record of a pickup scheduled" until I provided the tracking number. Suddenly, I was in their system but she proceeded to tell me that my pickup was actually cancelled because a credit memo needed to be issued and her supervisor refused to provide one because the sofa was delivered "as-is" and that Ashley Homestore has a no return policy. I called the local store after finding this out and they assured me that I was in fact on their pickup schedule for that day. To my relief, the drivers showed up (2 hours late), picked up the sofa, and attempted to repair the door, which they could not fix. I then obtained a quote for door replacement (repairs were not possible due to the damage), and provided it to the delivery service as well as the customer care rep who contacted me the day after the original delivery (they encouraged me to obtain the quote in the first place). I had to go back to the store to obtain my refund, but they refunded me all but $50. When I asked about this, they said they'd investigate and get back to me in a few days. After a few days passed, I called to inquire about this, and the same employee (Angie) admitted she forgot and would get back to me by the end of the day. I waited, received no call, so about an hour before the store closed I called them again - I was put on hold, the system hung up on me, called again, put on hold again, hung up on again, and finally after being put on hold the third time, Angie picked up and knew who I was (despite me not telling her who I was when she answered). She then tried to tell me that the $50 was a "discount" that was applied to the sofa for the inconvenience (who's keeping that money?).. She then said they actually cannot refund delivery charges, so the $100 they refunded me prior was why they refunded me $50 less on the cost of the sofa. I pushed back, saying that the math does not add up and that it sounds like a way to steal money; she became irritated and put me on hold for a minute, came back and told me that they'll refund me the $50 and that they'd do it remotely so I wouldn't need to go back. 2 weeks later; still no refund. I sent the quote to them over a week ago, heard nothing, but suddenly the delivery guy who broke my door showed up with a friend this week and tried to peer through my curtains to see if I was home to try to fix my door without prior notice or agreement! I never spoke to him after he picked up the sofa on March 31st, so why did he take it upon himself to show up unannounced almost 3 weeks later?? And to try to look inside my home through the front AND back doors is disgusting and unprofessional! I still have not heard from anyone about the quote or claim for door damages. read more

Honestly had a pretty disappointing experience here after being a long-standing customer! No one helped me and my fiancé when we walked in the door. I have a feeling it has to do with us being younger, not looking like someone who can afford furniture. We also went to go buy a clearance piece and we're treated really poorly for wanting that item. Also kept telling us they wouldn't deliver it but if we wanted to look at full price items they would be more than happy to deliver it or we could leave and rent a u haul our selves. We came in to check it out and very hesitant due to Yelp reviews. Let's get into this, Upon walking in we were greeted right away. The staff took their time to answer all of our questions and was very polite. Upon spending about an hour looking we finally found our sofa. It was half off the sticker price and looked like it fit. We asked if they had it in stock and what do you know they did. Boom we got it. The check out was quick and easy and I was very pleased with how honest and polite the staff was. About 5 days later The delivery, we paid a little extra for premium delivery but the places it set it up and took all the trash with them. It was quick easy and worked out great. Recently visited this Ashley store looking for a new sofa. Was helped by Dan. He explained the options, pricing, discounts etc. His service was great. Once we decided, he explained about the warranty and the process for getting it delivered to our home. The payment and other process were done quite smoothly. He gave us a preferred date for the delivery. Fast forward, Ashley called us two days before the date to confirm the date; and also gave us a window. Received timely reminder as phone call and texts as well. And they did the delivery in that given window as well. They came with the sofa, assembled in no time and left.
