We chose a hard foam mattress to get rid of back pain. We wanted to buy it at IKEA, but were wary of negative reviews about the quality. We accidentally stopped by to look at MattressFIRM. We were met by a nice man who offered to test all the mattresses that suited our interests. And the one similar to the one we wanted at IKEA turned out to be 15% cheaper in this store. We were told how to turn it over correctly so that it would last longer. I am writing a review after testing for 3 weeks. I am glad that we bought it near my home, with excellent service and saved time on the road several hours and money + the road. The quality and service are good. We visited this Mattress Firm yesterday and had George help us find a mattress. He was very knowledgeable and helpful in explaining all of the different type of mattresses throughout the store. We were mainly interested in the Tempur-pedic mattresses and he made sure to go through each detail of each one with us. I know mattress salesmen have a bad reputation, but George wasn't pushy at all and made sure to give us space when checking out the mattresses but always making sure he was available to inform us about the products or answer any questions when needed. He also seemed pretty transparent on the pricing of the items which was appreciated. We were happy because the prices seemed very fair based on comparing to items online and the 0% APR on financing with lengthy terms was great. I think it goes all the way up to 72 months 0% APR (they use Synchrony bank). I would definitely suggest going in to the store instead of shopping online because there was so much we learned from George that online research didn't tell us. We ended up getting a Tempur-pedic mattress and base, which included complementary delivery, set up, and removal of our old mattress. Tempu-pedic is currently doing a promotion where you get $300 to spend when you purchase a mattress, so we essentially got the base for $300 off. He also gave us some good freebies/deals on good quality pillows and sheets. A nice perk about Mattress Firm is that they give you a 4 month trial period from delivery date to decide if you want to keep the mattress. If you decide it's not the right one, they will swap them out for you. Although we don't plan on using this safety net, we appreciate that it is offered. Overall, we're very happy with our experience at this Mattress Firm. Honestly, I felt way less pressure than I had experience in the past from people who work on commission. I would definitely shop here again and from George if I ever need another mattress. I can't speak about how delivery will go, but I will update if there are any key points to indicate. My wife and I went to Mattress Firm in Everett Mall yesterday to shop for a new mattress and were fortunate enough to have Seth help us. He started by having us narrow down the firmness we preferred and then gave us several options to choose from. After that, we started narrowing down things by our budget. Seth was incredibly patient as we went back and forth trying to find a mattress we liked in our budget. They currently have a promotion where you can get a free adjustable base and Seth demonstrated it for us. We had never had one before and were amazed at how it enhanced comfort and relieved pressure on our backs. We had settled on a nice Sealy hybrid mattress, but figured we pass on the adjustable base because of the cost, however, Seth showed us a nice Serta iSeries hybrid that cost about $800 less. We tried that with the adjustable base and were sold since that total still came in less than the Sealy and felt better overall with the adjustable base. We upgraded from the free adjustable base to the next model up and were credited the value of the free base. Incredibly, our new mattress and base were delivered today and we're thrilled. Delivery was terrific. The crew kept us up to date via emails and texts with the last message 30 minutes before delivery. They arrived on time and quickly removed our old mattress and set up our new one. They were friendly and respectful of our home keeping our carpet clean and walls scuff free. DO NOT SHOP HERE. My boyfriend and I bought a King sized mattress on 9/11. It was out of stock and won't be delivered until the 19th. Fine. Well, I called on the 18th since I was told I would get a scheduling call and I didn't. I even offered a second phone number just to be safe. Allyn assured me we were set for the 19th and that they would still call, probably between 7 and 9 pm. No such call ever came. Now its the 19th. No mattress delivered. I called again and Allyn had no idea how but the delivery date had changed. He called the warehouse to follow up. When he got back to me he informed me he still didn't know how it had changed but that it would now be the 21st. After buying on the 11th. 10 days for a MATTRESS store to deliver a simple mattress. I canceled right there. He said it'll be 7 to 10 days until I get my refund. We'll see if that shows up. read more

Alex is AMAZING! Not only have we made a most excellent purchase in a mattress, but we also made a new friend. First about the store. It's clean and spacious...and I'm not just talking about the bathroom. Seriously though the store is clean and they even provide snacks, the good kind. They even have areas for the kids to play so that parents can make the best decision and in their own time. Speaking of time, we were given so much time. We told them our issue, blah blah blah, we didn't make it obviously in time for the 100 day sleep guarantee, but we HAVE to get a new bed. So here we are, we ended up picking out something. Very high end with all the bells & whistles. Kayla was our Sleep Sense and helped us out a ton, even brought us cold water as we rolled around on the demo beds. I bought my Queen temper pedic with an adjustable base. On my search for this particular bed I found that bed salesmen were a lot like used car salesmen. So I will tell you my experience and hopefully you can gain some knowledge about beds. I think it's important to get a bed that is gonna give you the best night sleep so you are able to face life with no aching joints, no irritated nerves, no stress from tossing and turning all night. Believe it or not I thought that bad sleep was gonna be a part of my life and accepted it and moved on. Buying a bed that was plush pillow top forced me to sleep on the couch and not with my husband. So we bought the temper pedic with the adjustable base. It has a zero gravity button among all the settings and you are suspended in a cradle like position. When I first started going to bed I would wake up 8 hours later with the lights on TV going and remote in hand. My last thoughts were of drifting off to the deepest most relaxed sleep I'd had since my mother's womb. I was in love . Sleep country cost me 3400 and that was the best price I found anywhere. Same make and model at more funriture, 10,000.00. I have had a life changing event buying this bed. It's sounds funny but going from the way I slept to now, I look better. My back is better, my skin looks refreshed and my husband who has had back surgery is so happy with this model. We are firm believers in a sleep country adjustable base bed. He listened to what we needed, showed us everything, let us try all the beds we wanted to, and was very patient as we tried to make up our minds.
