We found some great Amish furniture in stock. High quality at a good price. They even offer military and senior discounts. We couldn't fit the item into our car so we picked it up the next day. I have not been to the store itself as I have used email and the phone to finalize my purchase but I can tell that Erickson's Furniture customer service and work ethics are second to none. I would especially like to thank Amanda Hertz with whom I have been dealing throughout the entire process. She is very professional, genuinely friendly and very helpful. She responded to my emails in a timely fashion and was a pleasure to correspond with. I contacted Erickson Furniture to purchase a Luonto Jamie queen-sized sofa bed. I wanted the sofa made in my own, custom fabric and was quoted over $600 LESS for the sofa in COM (customer's own material) than another store that specializes in sleeper sofas. This was the first time a customer wanted a Luonto sofa from Erickson Furniture made in a custom fabric, so Amanda had a bit of a learning curve with organizing the details of fabric delivery to Finland. She managed without any problems. The production of the sofa and its delivery from Finland took four months, which I was informed about beforehand and indeed after four months the sofa arrived safe and sound in my small bedroom in perfect condition. The delivery men were fast, professional and very nice too! My entire experience with Erickson Furniture (and Amanda) was effortless, transparent and actually, thanks to Amanda's cheerful and knowledgeable disposition - a pleasure. Went looking for a small table for my dads new place. They were one of the only locations with a small enough table with fold down sides to make larger if needed. We got the table together and realized that one of the fold down sides didn't fit properly. My dad called and they came out the next day and made it right. Great service. They lie about wait times on orders, send out damaged furniture, and or do very cheap fixes in the back of the store just good enough for you not to notice until the drivers leave so always make sure you look over very well and DO not lose your copy of the receipt they will act as they do not know you. the owner Clay is just as slimy as a used car salesman. do not trust the man bigger man with the comb-over. Chad is the only salesman that's decent to work with but id just stay away in general. take any delivery date with a grain of salt because it won't come when they say. read more

Buying a bed is a big decision. Erickson Furniture made it as easy as possible for this research-oriented shopper. I was on overload from looking at all the online options when I decided to go into my local store. Kurt met me right away and guided me around his store, helping me try out different beds, answering my many questions respectfully--even when I called later with even more questions. Everyone I talked with at Erickson's has been helpful, from receptionist to warehouse manager, to delivery men. AND, I am a very happy sleeper on my new Danville plush queen mattress. So disappointed in Erickson Furniture. We went in to buy a reclining couch and loveseat. Our salesperson was Barb. We had a leather unit picked out but Barb lead us to a leather like couch and loveseat and told us it would hold up even better than leather. The deal maker was the additional warranty from Guardsman that would protect our furniture for 10 years, no matter what happened to it. Our dogs nails could rip it, no problem, they would come and fix it, etc. etc.... Well, when we finally got our delivery, the loveseat was made incorrectly. The lines between the two didn't match, the seat's foam was somehow moved because of this so you didn't have support where you sat. We sent in our claim, and they decided it was the mechanism. It wasn't but we went thru all the waiting periods to get that replaced only to have the same problem. Filed a continuing claim, they came out and took off the pleather and put it all back together, it was better but the lines still didn't match. But he had another appointment so he couldn't redo it and left. Now, just 3-1/2 years into our 10 year warranty (Lol) the headrests, seats and arms are peeling and that is NOT COVERED because it wasn't a specific damage. We really try to support local businesses, but I will never buy from this store again. The warranty they tout is absolutely worthless!!!! After spending $2500+ and less then 4 years later we will have to buy new furniture! We bought leather recliners from Macys in 1998 that lasted 25+ years. Be careful who you buy from as Erickson is using this bait and switch technique and it's easy to get taken in by them. read more

So they sent another chair and this one is the floor model And already well used by delivery driver who knew one of these chairs had a problem. I got the piece of crap for my replacement chair which was not functioning in the remote. Got lots of excuses. Clay ERICKSON accused me of not being able to use it....... I purchased my first reclining chair here, my parents had been customers for decades. I had been a long time customer of Underhills before the family that owned it decided to sell it. Good: Sales staff are friendly and helpful, furniture there is some of the best you can get. They delivered it to my new house 80 miles away (i live near canada), delivery crew was very good. Chair was great, no issues. Bad: Chair took longer than expected to arrive, there was a back-order. Very bad: I did finance part of it because I was purchasing a new house I needed some cash left in the bank. The financing agent they were partnered with is very sketchy. I'd never even heard of it before. - Financing 0 interest for 1 year promotion deal, still charges me a fee on every (30 or 40 dollar 0) interest payment I make. Interest is very high (20% or higher), I have very good credit too. - Interests is accrued during the 0 interest period and is due at the end of the loan if you haven't paid it off. If you got suckered like me DO pay it off quickly. Why do I not omit this last portion? It's because it's part of the transaction and also reflects poorly on ericksons for choosing such a questionable financing agent to partner up with. Contrasting experiences as a former customer of Underhills: There were no hidden anything, 0 interest really meant 0, if they said no tax they meant no tax. Every time I picked something new, it was always treated as a new transaction so you got the same terms. Ericksons in-store - you are rolling the dice. if I ever buy from them again, i'll never use any of the in-store financing option. I had expected better of them. Lessons learned I guess. read more

Professional salespeople, good selection of quality furniture, they delivered quickly (2 days after purchase), and exactly when they said they would, and they had what we needed. The only downsides are that they are expensive (high quality furniture does tend to be expensive!) and you have to pay for delivery, but at least it's only $40. We ran into some stores charging up to $90 for delivery! I still prefer the stores that offer free delivery. :) We'd shop here again. But we'd have wads of money! read more

My Covid-19 stimulus check was put to good use at Erickson Furniture for a new chair and foot stool. I had been watching to see when their doors would open safely and drove over to order the chair, as I knew just what I wanted from a friend's previous purchase. A foot stool I liked was on the floor so I took that home with me right away. The customer service was great and the delivery guys friendly. I purchased a sectional a couple years ago...priced at $3,000. I also purchased the "extended warranty." Within the first year, it started ripping on the armrest. I called, as I have the warranty, told them I'd like it fixed. The only way they were willing to do it was if I hauled the piece, not small, into the furniture store. I told them I work a full time job and was not able to do this. They said they'd come to me to fix it. I set it up...they never came, called or emailed that they weren't coming...ever. This issue is still unresolved. I PAID TO HAVE THIS WARRANTY IN CASE ANYTHING HAPPENED TO MY EXPENSIVE FURNITURE. They chose to ignore me aNd not let me use my warranty!!! Wtf?!?! A little backstory: In October 2012 my son had to have back surgery; I came up from central California to assist in his rehab. I found out the day of surgery he would need some sort of power lift chair to sit in-since getting out of a regular chair would be difficult. He is a large man and just any chair would not work. I searched around and either no one had anything in stock, or delivery would be over 10 days out-since he was going to be out of the hospital in 2 days that wouldn't work. Then I walked Ericksons.... The saleslady was so helpful; showing me what was in stock for a quick delivery. Once I explained the situation, she went as far as having the chair delivered early on the day of his hospital release! I also was given a discount coupon that was in the local paper- being from out of town I had no idea about it. I said at that time i would definitely use them again. Fast forward to today 5/20/16: the chair I purchased has seen heavy use, because my son now has to sleep in it, and needed to be replaced. I knew of a chair called "the beast" by Best Furniture. In my area it was upwards of 1,500.00 bucks, i checked around and Erickson had an excellent price...998.00! Barb was our salesperson today, and was just as nice and helpful as the person we has before. My son and daughter in law picked out the chair they wanted and i asked when it could be delivered- Barb told the owners about my prior purchase-they said "how soon can you be back home?" Thats right; they gave us IMMEDIATE delivery! In fact the truck was there less than 10 mins after we got home. And again i was given a nice discount, that since I don't live here I wouldn't have known about. Friendly salespeople, quick delivery and great prices, I couldn't ask for more....I will DEFINITELY be back. read more

The sales experience was a positive. We purchased a chair (expensive) and decided for the store delivery. Day of delivery was stated as a 2 hour window with a call that morning to verify the time window. We had to call them and the delivery schedule was not met as stated. Our request was a refund of $25.00. The reply was a store credit for that amount which means buy more stuff at their store. Every business has delivery problems on occasion so service if not met should be handled in a manner that the customer desires to do business again. In our case maybe. read more

I have waited 8 months for a new cushion on the $3000 sectional I purchased. When it was delivered, the seam in one cushion was ripped. I have called numerous times and was made promises, but nothing has happened. I don't think a purchase of that size should be imperfect. I had gone through EVERY, and I mean, EVERY furniture store from Olympia to Everett looking for the right queen sized bed frame with storage that would match my 1971 walnut furniture. I even carried the door from a night stand with me. I was fully prepared to make my own, and even had the plans drawn out. The problem was, all the furniture stores in the region get their furniture from the same few manufacturers. If you walk into one, you pretty much see the same thing over and over. These days it is like furniture shopping at a McDonald's! So it was a Sunday night, 45 minutes before they closed, and it was the absolute last furniture store I was going to before I made my own. I looked at this bed and said, "OMG, this is the one!" They have gorgeous furniture from manufacturers that you have never seen. It is like the old days when you actually got some variety! Best of all, I did not have to deal with all those flaky companies on the web. They delivered my bed frame, set it up (took an hour) and it is gorgeous! I saw some things that were really beautiful, but did not have enough time to look at since I was under the gun. I intend to go back there, even though it is a really long drive. read more

The awful experience from a senior couple and local furniture store.... Timeline of Events (Ekornes Order) June 13, 2015 Saturday order placed with Dee, $2600 deposit paid. I was assured that the staff (Dee) would keep in touch every few weeks of the status of the furniture. She spoke of the timeline of around 8 weeks total and assured me status every few weeks. July 11, 2015, Week 4 no contact July 18, 2015 Week 5 after still no contact, stopped into store to see what the process was and asked why we have not gotten any calls... Response that day was it would be here within the next 30 days ( 8 week total timeframe) August 15, 2015 Week 9 after zero contact and a commitment of 30 days stopped into the store again. Again was told soon, should be just another week. August 17, 2015 finally received a call and was told it should be coming within the next two weeks that it was shipping now. Have date on sales slip of August 24 Week 10. (site will not allow pic) September 5, 2015 Week 12 and still no furniture... At this point there has been several false commitments to its arrival and the company has not meet their commitment of 8-12 weeks. I have had to make all the contact, the customer service at this point was Zero September 19, 2015 Week 15, clearly out of the committed timeline, we stopped into the store once again and this time asked for our deposit back. We spoke with Clay Erickson and he clearly lacks any sense of customer service. He is very arrogant, brash and unwilling to listen to our concerns. He was extremely condescending when we asked again for our $2,600 back. We tried to explain that we were the 3rd generation to support his family's business and that we hoped he would respect our loyalty. He laughed and said "take me to court, I have never lost". That really says something to the reputation of a local business and the direction Clay Erickson is taking it. He even went as far as to yell when we asked to see the handwritten information on his copy of the paperwork. Upset that an owner would respond in such an unprofessional manner we left. September 21, 2015 two days later I received a voicemail from Clay Erickson, who did not mention his unprofessionalism from earlier in the week, said he was returning "my call" (I never called him) regarding the status of my furniture. He stated that the sofa was not manufactured prior to the annual closure of the company (Ekornes closes every July for the entire month (never disclosed)) in which he proceeded to throw his sales person, Dee, under the bus and blame her for not explaining the full month closure. He stated that he had called Norway and that the furniture was going to ship soon. Again, all we want at this point is our deposit back and be done with this. October 1, 2015 Week 16, (clearly out of scope) we received a call from Clay Erickson stating the sofa had arrived and was going to be unpacked. Because of the incredibly clear lack of customer service and respect for his family's business, this is not a business that my family will ever patronize again. All we want is our deposit mailed back to us. Erickson's furniture can easily sale (or maybe has) a black leather sofa. Today we just want to get the word out to our local community and of course all of our family/friends/local community the lack of professionalism and support from the latest generation of the Erickson family. read more
