Alex was very kind, knowledgeable and genuine when it came to helping my husband and I pick out a new mattress. It's not easy getting 2 people with very different preferences to agree, but Alex patiently walked us through the store and had us (and our 2 daughters) try a variety of mattresses and pillows. He was very respectful of our price point and listened to our feedback. Needless to say, we walked out with a receipt for a new mattress and a relieved smile on our faces knowing we would no longer have to endure the awfulness of our current mattress. Thanks Alex! read more

Alex Lee is my guy! Quite possibly the best sales man ever. Wasn't pushy...was just super friendly, funny and finally got me to buy a bed that I have been hesitant to buy for a year now! Great job Alex! I'm SUPER excited to finally have a comfy mattress to sleep on! Can't wait until Thursday! Yay! read more

I am extremely dissatisfied with the service (or more correctly, non-service) I have received so far. I purchased a mattress set on February 24, the salesperson told me it was not in stock and that it would be a couple of days before they deliver, and I said no problem. They have rescheduled twice so far, and I still don't have my mattress set. At this point, I'm *hoping* for March 9. When the saleswoman called to tell me it would be delayed again, I asked for a price break or maybe a protective cover for my inconvenience, and she said they can't do that. I will be looking for another mattress set today, and if I find one at the same price (I bought during President's day sale), I'm canceling this order. Either way, I'm NEVER buying here again, and see that many customers have had an equally unpleasant experience. Update: This is getting ridiculous. I got a phone call from Customer Service, because of this review, and during the conversation we realized I was not even scheduled for the 9th. Even then, all they said was that they were sorry, and they couldn't do anything to make it better. I said when customers are dissatisfied and the store is at fault, they usually make up for it somehow, so maybe they could throw in a protective mattress cover. Nope. They just scheduled me for the 9th. Fingers crossed. read more

My wife and I just bought a house and wanted a mattress to replace our air mattress. We also wanted to take advantage of the free same day delivery. Andy Strand was very nice! We didn't feel pressured and everyone in the store seemed friendly. We found a great bed. They matched a price we found, and now we will sleep well. :^) read more

My sister and I came in today to get new mattresses and we were helped by a very kind and knowledgeable employee named Cheri. She helped us find the mattresses that supported our body's correctly according to our sleeping position. We found great comfortable mattresses in just about 30 minutes! The service was wonderful and the staff was very welcoming and kind! I also received 25% off of my accessories with the coupon on Yelp. I will definitely come back to sleep train every time I need a new mattress. The employees are well trained and willing to answer any questions you have! Thank you sleep train for my wonderful new mattress! read more

First time ever being in a mattress firm. My boyfriend and I were definitely pleased with our visit. Walked out with a new king size mattress and two amazing pillows! Alex was our sales guy and he was amazing. Definitely went above and beyond on his sales, he made us feel welcome and really cared about what made us comfortable. He took our jackets and our things, made us as comfortable as possible so we could pick the right bed. He asked both of us what we like in a bed and picked out a good one we both agreed on and catered to our sleeping needs. We will definitely be back in the future and for sure suggest them when our friends or family ask for a reference! Thanks Alex! You were awesome, can't wait to have our bed delivered! read more

I had a superb experience working with Sleep Country, from Hailey, the sales rep, to Albert and Mario, who just installed my new Tempur-pedic bed. The showroom is extensive, they have great prices and free delivery. I bought the unit on Monday and it was delivered on Sunday. read more

Completely overpriced. Tried to take advantage of my elderly grandma today. Sales guy doing the sales tactics so much that I felt like we were more at a used car dealership than a mattress store. Even had the "manager" area like a car dealership. We specifically said what we wanted and he kept trying to talk her into other things she didn't want. I literally had to tell the sales guy that I felt like he was holding us hostage and we needed to leave so please stop talking. He wanted to know where we were going next. I wouldn't tell him. He then said he's worked at all the Mattress Firms in Everett and this one is the best the others were awful. He literally was trashing the same company he works for. This was shady all around. Bought the same mattress down the road and Mattress City almost half the price and nicer people! Shame on you for being about the sale, trying to take advantage of the elderly, and being so over priced. read more

They will beat any price by 5%... deliver for free...and take returns up to 100 days. Superb. Great service, and I love my new bed.

I went into the Everett showroom to try two models of Beauty Rest mattresses. Alex Lee greeted me as I walked in the door. He immediately directed me to the models I was interested in. He was friendly, knowledgeable and answered my questions with expertise. The entire shopping experience from beginning to end was positive. read more

I went to mattress firm where I was immediately greeted by Trevor at the store located in the target shopping center and he was amazing. Let me start by saying I went in completely exhausted and not feeling well but he was very patient and helped me pick out the bed I needed within my budget and not having to settle for anything less. He listened to my needs and came through on every level. He took exceptional care of me and for that I am very grateful. I hope your company values you as much as I do. Thank you Trevor your the best Veronica read more

Bed shopping with 4 year old twin boys is not my idea of a relaxing time. Probably because I had never been to Sleep Country before. As soon as we walked into the store the boys saw a toy area set up and were entertained the entire time. Our sales associate, Kim, was amazing. She found out our preferences right away for our new beds for the boys. We were shown 6 or so beds to compare to each other and easily found the one we loved. They have great financing and the total price for everything wasn't half as much as I was expecting. We have been putting off getting them big boy beds for so long. If I knew it was going to be this painless, we would have done it a long time ago. Thanks to Kim for making it a wonderful process! We are now customers for life and will recommend this store to anyone that asks (and even if people don't ask, we still might. Who doesn't love unsolicited advice?)!! read more

This was my first mattress buying experience and it went very well. William was the service representative and he was very helpful, guiding me through the process of picking the best mattress for me. He was very patient and let me take my time choosing and was happy to explain the differences between the mattresses and the things that come along with them such as the box spring and different types of covers. I didn't feel any pressure to buy either. I would definitely recommend this store to friends and family. read more

I am so happy we came here! Friendly service and my new bigger bed was delivered the same day!

Went in today to test out the Purple mattress in person. Cassie was amazing from the moment we stepped inside. She explained each mattress and the warranties in detail. We left having purchased to mattresses and a adjustable base. Best part is next day delivery! read more

The delivery guys Marco and Ivan were fast, courteous, and were mindful not to mark the walls with the box spring and mattress they delivered. They also put booties over their shoes when they came into my home. They picked up all the packaging as they left. They asked me if I wanted them to move the bed once they put it together. I really appreciated them. read more

Our salesman Alex was extremely helpful and informative.. We were shown a range of mattresses that fit our specifications and price range. Alex thoroughly explained the details of each brand and model. The experience of choosing and purchasing a mattress was pleasurable. We left happy! This was the third mattress store we visited when looking for a new mattress. While we did not end up buying a mattress here, I thought they did a good job with explaining their mattresses. There sales staff was not pushy and definitely made us feel comfortable taking our time to try out the beds. We did find one we liked, but it didn't quite meet our price point. They were very good about matching a price from sears. They also pointed us in the direction of mattress discounters (owned NY the same company) for more cheaper mattresses. read more

We recently bought a mattress at sleep country and had a wonderful experience. The mattress we selected ended up being too soft, and just as their ads state, we were able to return it and pick out a firmer one. Their sales staff was professional, knowledgable, and friendly. We wholeheartedly recommend sleep country to mattress shoppers. There is no doubt Sleep Country honors it's warranties, and obviously cares a great deal about the customer experience. It's a great place to buy a mattress! read more

Had a wonderful mattress shopping experience at Sleep Country today. Our salesman Rene was very helpful in assisting us with our mattress purchase. Rene was very knowledgeable and helped us find a mattress that was actually below the budget that we had set. He was never pushy and was conscience of the budget we had to work with. We had purchased the mattress today with the intent of using it as a spare in the future. When the times comes to get the next mattress we will definitely be going back to Rene at sleep country. read more

Thanks for the quick, help Buck! You were helpful, and knowledgeable, and willing to stay open late for us! Sweet dreams!

Not specific to the store, but the company. When my wife came home from the hospital in January (leukemia) we bought a very nice adjustable bed for her. SleepTrain delivered it and the adjustable frame didn't work. After two weeks and three more visits they finally got it working. Three days later my wife got ill, had to go back to the hospital, and passed away a week later. And the bed quite working again about a week after that. I contacted SleepTrainin in August, gave them the same info and told them it took me this long to address the issue because of my wife's passing. After 20 minutes on hold, they told me they can't help me because of the time frame, no exceptions apparently. So now I have to try and contact the manufacturer and see if they have a warranty that will cover it (which after this morning and SleepTrain I won't have the strength to handle for a while). Or I can keep my $1200 non-working bed frame. I understand the time frame policy, but due to the circumstances and that in the grand scheme of things it wouldn't have cost them a drop in the bucket to take care of this, I am disappointed. I just wanted what I paid for, a working adjustable bed frame. They could have gained a very vocal supporter for life; instead they chose to lose a customer. read more

Lousy customer service is an understatement, I believe we were lied to in order to make a sale. We were told that we'd get same day delivery if we ordered right away but when we were paying for the mattress we were informed that we had to wait three days. We were told that we'd get a call the day before with a 2 hour delivery window, we never received that call. We did get a call on delivery day letting us know that they'd come late in the afternoon and we asked if there was any way they could get here earlier, we were told that it wasn't possible. But Sleep Train has a delivery tracker on their web site and I saw that the truck drove right past our house hours before the scheduled delivery so it was more than possible but they didn't bother to try. Lots of stores sell mattresses, the next time I need one I'll find a store that provides customer service too. read more

My partner and I visited the store in early January and Christopher helped us choose a bed. He had us try three mattresses in the same line, in differing levels of firmness/softness, then directed us to mattresses he believed we would find comfortable. I told him our price range, and for the most part he stuck to it. When we chose a bed we liked, he price matched a lower price from a competitor.Because this had been our first stop, we took the quote home and did more shopping and price checking of our own, then returned a couple weeks later (the evening of 1/29) to make the purchase. Christopher was not working that night, and the male employee who was there told us he wouldn't honor the quote we were given because he couldn't locate us in the system, and that there was no way anyone would have gone that low for both box spring and mattress. He said if anyone had actually gone that low, the price would have been for the mattress only. I told him we had a printed quote at home, and would retrieve it and come back.We hurried and arrived back about three minutes before the store closed, and the same employee looked at our quote and said that the low price must have been because William (the manager) had helped us. I reminded him that Christopher was the one who had been assisting us. He told us no, it was William. We insisted it wasn't, so he asked what the person looked like, and after we described him, he said "Oh, that's Christopher." (Can I just be real here for a moment and say that I could have slapped the guy??) I couldn't help but feel that we had done something to offend him and that he was intentionally trying to push our buttons. There was a female employee working at the same time, and she was apologetic and even seemed embarrassed at her co-worker's behavior. (Unfortunately I didn't grab this guy's name, but I know he was filling in from another location, I think Marysville.) After all this, he told us that they had already closed their system for the night so they couldn't make any transactions (even though the OPEN sign was still lit up and the door unlocked). I couldn't believe how rude this guy was. We came back the next day and thankfully Christopher was there to make the sale. We had applied for financing online ahead of time, and checkout was a breeze. As far as delivery goes, I was forced to leave an engagement early to accommodate their schedule, which was well outside of my delivery window. They were to arrive between 5:45 and 7:45, and I got a call around 3:30 that they were half an hour away. They said "lucky for you" there was another local delivery they could do before mine, so I hurried home as fast as I could so I wouldn't miss them. The only reason I'm giving two stars is because Christopher was very helpful and knowledgeable. Other than that, this place gets a single star. Side note: I originally tried to add this review to their website after receiving an email asking me to rate my experience. I got the following response: Our staff has read your review and values your contribution even though it did not meet all our website guidelines. Thanks for sharing, and we hope to publish next time! read more

My wife and I are looking forward to our 3rd good night of sleep since we bought our new mattress from Sleep Country. The salesperson, Kayla, was very helpful and patient while we bounced around from firm to plush and from inner spring to memory foam. After we made our choice, they were able to beat other deals and we walked out very satisfied. By that evening, we had a call from their delivery center arranging delivery for the next day. The delivery guys were great and showed up on time. read more

My sister just moved to Washington and needed a mattress ASAP. We looked on Craigslist and decided we would weigh our options between new/used. She won't necessarily be here permanently and didn't want to spend a ton on a mattress she would have to get rid of in no time. We looked at Sears and no one was helpful and everything was very expensive so we walked across the way to sleep train. Aaron approached us and instead of being pushy and pressurey like we expected of a mattress store he was kind, knowledgable, and relaxed. My sister felt very comfortable with him and took to trying all the appropriate mattresses. She felt comfortable enough to be honest about her struggle of new vs. used and he even let her try some of the mattresses that she had looked up on Craigslist and that he had in store. He showed her the super low end cheap "throwaway" mattresses, as well as a straight up piece of foam. We appreciated that he understood what she was looking for and didn't try and change her mind. We ended up with a very comfortable $600 mattress which she felt good about buying new. It included delivery a box spring and a frame. Aaron is a great salesman and a very nice human being. He spent close to 2 hours with us and we never felt rushed or pressured. We had a great experience with sleep train and would return again. read more

My wife and I went in to buy a new mattress yesterday and found one we really loved. We told our salesman that the mattress would need to go up a ladder onto our second level patio and through the door to which we were told "If you can fit a queen size through the door then you will be able to get a king size in, cause the delivery men will be able to fold the mattress to get it in." When the delivery truck came today we were informed that they would not be able to go up the ladder because it is unsafe which is very understandable. The problem is that we were told it wouldn't be a problem by our salesman when it was. We were offered a split king and told that we would just need to go buy a mattress topper or get a t-shaped foam piece to go in between the split. Why would I want to go spend more money to get a topper or foam piece? Delivery guys were great, very courteous, and patient with the situation. Not a good job by the salesman. The whole thing now feels like they were just trying to get a sale out of us. I guess I won't be getting my free Yeti cooler that was part of the deal. read more

Sleep Train's follow up is simply a collection of my invoice number and store location (maybe they are vetting out false bad reviews). The social media person then said they would forward my incident to "customer care". Haven't heard from them since but I don't really care since I don't want anything from them. read more
