The orange chicken wasn't even chicken. It's like bread. . I want my money back so fucking bad. Absolutely horrible. I ordered a big plate of orange chicken and it wasn't even chicken. The egg rolls was horrible tasted old the most horrible Chinese food I've ever tasted in my life, the most horrible Chinese food in Denver . Straight up poison rip off.

Well......it's a bargain. You'll definitely get quantity however quality wouldn't be a word I would use here. Could be a cheaper version of Panda Express.

Definitely not the best Chinese in town, but was okay. Pros: - 2 meals cost $10 - Free soda with the meals Cons: - Lo Mein noodles were made of Italian spaghetti - Shrimp still had the skins on - Poor customer service, the people serving you are constantly distracted by their coworkers, and chat to other members of staff while communicating your order

Reason for this review is because while we bought 2 wontons the woman at the register still charged my son $.25 for sweet and sour sauce when I sent him back up to get some. Thank you again to the gentleman in line who paid. While I'm here I might as well review our meal... The orange chicken is hard and chewy. The sesame chicken was the same. The chicken lo mein didn't have any chicken in it. The food wasn't hot, but room temperature.

I prefer Ho Mei No3. This one isnt bad. They are friendly and the give you a decent portion. Its reasonable. The food is tasty but i felt as if it could of been hotter. It was a lil warm while i was eating it. The Egg Roll was hot. Im partial to the other one because they always give you extra soda and extra food. I will become a regular at this one though when im on this side of town. The restaurant is clean and thats a big plus. They do charge a Qtr for Sweet and Sour Sauce though. I did have to contact the Health Department because my chicken didnt feel hot as it should of been. The Health Dept contacted me and said the food on top wasnt as hot as it should of been. But Beneath it the food was held at the recommended 135 Degrees temp. They wrote them up for the food being to cool on the top and suggested they get better up to date Heatlamps to keep the food on top at the proper temp.

Fried Rice / Lo Mein / Orange Chicken / Teriyaki Chicken - 2 Star

I've been meaning to stop in here for awhile as I live close by. So today after some quick shopping I stopped by and grabbed a combo. 1/2 fried rice with 1/2 lo mein for my sides and then orange chicken and teriyaki chicken with 2 crab wontons and a soda, all of that was $5 after tax. They give you a lot of food and it actually looked and smelt pretty good. I started eating it and it was bland. The fried rice tasted like regular plain white rice, the lo mein like lightly sauced pasta noodles, the chicken dishes were ok. At about mid way point thru the meal I was thinking a 2 or 2.5 rating would be fair due to it being editable and ok for the price and quantity. And then I bit into a bone in my orange chicken. A pretty good sized bone. So.. If you want some very mediocre food, and a lot of it, feel free. If you're looking for good food you're going to want to look somewhere else.

Orange chicken, pepper shrimp, beef and broccoli.

This is my family & I 2nd time here in Denver and after finding this place the 1st visit we make it a point to come to this location. We're located in Georgia so I think we have a good sense of good Chinese. I always get the Mongolian beef with fried rice (no egg; I'm allergic) My husband always gets the General Tso chicken with the fried rice and he ALWAYS orders this and never has a complaint. My son gets the Sesames chicken also with fried rice and it's sweet and crunchy as they fry the chicken to mix in their sauce and it's worth every penny. Every time! Service sometimes can be short in communication but expected especially when they're working all day and don't have time to eat but their food never misses! On these days, we only pull dishes from the cart, never really ordering from the menu. There are a few home, run plates and a couple I could pass on, with the barbecue pork buns, putting a delicious, savory texture and flavor, with the sauce cooked in, versus the regular pork buns are a little more dry and have no sauce. The soup dumplings are also so good, along with the rice cakes, the Ube, sesame, desserts, the duck, steamed the shrimp buns and more. You really have to go for yourself and be willing to try things, I didn't love the duck feet (I think that's what it was?) but you have to at least try it. Always make sure to bring a huge appetite! I am so glad that they are so consistent and have not changed recipes or adjusted seasonings. Ordered our two favorites - pickled pepper beef and mapo tofu. We ordered the fried tofu (with peppers and onions), orange chicken, fried fish fillet, and veggie delight (mixed veggies). The fried fish fillet was definitely the standout. Perfectly crispy on the outside with a light, tangy layer of sauce that added flavor without making it soggy. Easily my favorite dish of the meal. The fried tofu was also really solid and flavorful with just the right amount of spice. The peppers and onions complemented it well without overpowering the tofu itself. The orange chicken was okay. I tend to compare orange chicken to Panda Express (probably unfair, but it's my benchmark), and this one didn't quite hit that same balance of crispiness and sauce. I think if it had a bit more meat within each piece, would be better. The mixed vegetables were decent but not something I'd order again. They felt a bit drenched in sauce and didn't have much depth in flavor. One of the highlights of the visit was meeting an elderly woman who helps out when it gets busy. She mentioned she was the former owner. She was incredibly kind, and we ended up having a really nice conversation in Mandarin. That personal touch made the experience even more memorable. Otherwise, really nice venue with lots of space and tables. Waiters always refilled my water, which is a good plus. Also gave me fresh rice when I took the leftovers to go. Overall, a solid meal with a couple standout dishes. I'd definitely come back for the fried fish fillet and tofu. Will be back to try their other dishes.

Service was quick to take the order, refill water and clear out empty plates/steamer baskest. The dishes coming out of the kitchen was at a more erratic pace, but it's all about the food. Mapo tofu was good, with a light slick of chili oil. The flavors were spot on with little chunks of fermented salted broad beans. The heat was also moderate, but it did have a kick as you were eating it. That signature mala numbing spiciness started building, but not hot enough for my palate. Green beans were also nice and tender. Sometimes when they come out the fryer, the skin can be a little leathery, but wasn't present here. BBQ Buns were very soft and tender, loaded with BBQ pork. The shao mai had a nice bouncy texture and cooked well. Shrimp Lo Mein had the flavors of the Chinese American classic, it looks like the noodles were hand made too. Only miss was the shrimp dumplings. They were too close to each other and they stuck together. The wrapper was also overcooked, but somehow the shrimp was not. Nearly impossible to pickup with chopsticks, because the wrapped just fell apart, even with a delicate touch. Worth a stop and probably tastiest Chinese food in the neighborhood. It was getting crowded and there was a wait by the time we left. However it was Denver restaurant week, so not sure how it usually is during the week.

Lately it feels like a lot of restaurants are charging more while giving less, and it's getting harder to find places that actually care about the customer experience. Unfortunately, this was another one of those experiences. We ordered three side dishes and three drinks, and the bill came out to around $100. Two of the three sides were served cold, the dumplings at least came out hot, but they were pretty mediocre and nothing I'd order again and drinks were extremely over priced. The waitress was fine, no real issues there, but it did feel like the food may have been sitting in the kitchen too long before it hit the table even though the place was empty. At the end of the day, it's hard to justify paying that kind of money for cold, underwhelming food, then feeling awkward about the tip because the experience just wasn't good. I won't be back. If I had known this is what the experience was I would have definitely gone somewhere else. As an added bonus I felt like crap afterwords, I think it was because of poor quality ingredients. My aim in writing these reviews is to highlight the restaurants and businesses that truly take care of their customers, to give people a heads up about the ones that clearly do not prioritize quality or the customer experience, and to express myself in a world where it often feels like there is very little room to speak honestly about paying top dollar for mediocre experiences. Very disappointing.
