The honey mango cake reminds me of a mango mousse cake that you can traditionally find at a Chinese bakery like Kiki Bakery or Regent Bakery. That's not a bad thing because they're all delicious. Yummy desserts! Tried the mango bavarian cheesecake and the cheesecake souffle. If we all had enough room in our stomachs we also would have tried several other desserts. My friend got a slice of green tea tiramisu to take home, she later said it was delicious. Hiroki's is a cute little dessert shop with gentle sounds of Hawaiian music lulling you into bliss as you pile forkfuls of heavenly tasting desserts into your mouth. It is so nice to find a good bakery outside of downtown. I hate going to downtown because of parking. This bakery is close to a residential area, making it low key and mellow. I ordered a soy irish cream latte and the tiramisu. Both were delicious! The tiramisu was PERFECT! It was moist and creamy. It had the perfect amount of airiness too. They had a good selection of pastries. I had a hard time deciding on one because I wanted all of them. I will definitely be back again to try more. read more

Pretty cool little cafe. I had the green tea tiramisu, the cassis cake and the coconut passion fruit cake. The cakes were not too sweet, and were pretty interesting. I wish the green tea taste was a little more prominent though - but I really like green tea. The passion fruit cake had a good flavor, but the texture of the coconut was almost like jello, so it was a little different when eating it. The cassis cake was almost like a mousse and was the most unique thing I had there - it was nice and tart. I also had the green tea latte, that could have also upped the green tea taste. Seems like people in Seattle prioritize their coffee though. I would go again if I was in the area. :D read more

We stumbled here by mistake after getting lost in the area while looking for an address. Of course in those types of times you just want to curl up with a big mug of your favorite caffinated beverage and take a breather. It's a bit smaller than you would think, but there was plenty of tables to sit at. There was also an excellent selection of cakes/desserts. We got a yummy tiramisu that also helped ease the frustration of being a little lost haha. The cakes reminded me of going to a bakery in Japan, and the taste was the same too: not too sweet but still YUM! The matcha latte was pretty good as well, and had the nice little ripples on top that make it so cute you just don't want to drink it. (never once have I seen those little ripples at Starbucks btw) I'm definetly a fan, and if I get over to that area again I will stop in again! I loved this place! Super cute setting, warm and inviting. Desserts were delicious and beautiful. We had the souffle cheesecake which was pleasantly light for a cheesecake and not overwhelming in flavor. We also got the Double Chocolate Peanut Butter cookie which was thick and rich. Hiroki has been my favorite in the last 10 years! I actually don't know when it was first open in the Greenlake store but I always love their Green Tea Tiramisu they provided to Fort St George. As my friends know how I always order the Green Tea Tiramisu at Fort St George, they got a the whole green tea tiramisu cake as my birthday cake two years ago and I started to go to their greenlake store since then. Now I got my second favorite cake whenever I visit the store, the Souffle Cheese Cake!!! Since my husband likes this cake when I brought him over, I ordered that for his birthday this year. And there are a couple of our guests told me they liked the Souffle cake even though they are normally not a big fans of cheese cake themselves. It is not those traditional chunky type of cheese cake that makes you felt like eating a piece of real cheese more than a cake, but it is more like the angle cake kind of cheese cake with a light cheese flavor that makes you want to take the next bite just to get a little more of the smell of cheese! My favorite would have to be the green tea tiramisu then the red velvet and lastly, the regular tiramisu. The biggest problem is you have to get here early before they run out! To help narrow things down, I asked the guy behind the counter which was his favorite...his reply - "Everything in there is my favorite." Uh....okay, thanks! In fact, it was completely opposite of any cheesecake I've had in the past, it was super light and airy. Not what I expected when I bit into it, but I was pleasantly surprised. Although everything here was a little on the pricier side ($5.00 - $7.00 for a slice of pie or cake), it was well worth it. If it didn't cost about 5$ per slice I would've bought a slice of each all for myself! Came here after our afternoon run at greenlake park- unfortunately they ran out of the famous green tea cake by the time we were there. The owner quickly explained that since they changed business hours so everything tend to sell out before noon.. So tip: get there early! The mango cake and tiramisu were delicious nonetheless- fluffy cake on the bottom and semi sweet cream on the top. The iced macha latte was excellent! The owner recommended the iced version for a stronger macha flavor, which i happily obliged. So much better than starbucks green tea latte. Highly recommend! Great little bakery near my house! I've seen it for years, but never stopped by. What a huge regret because the bakery is really quaint and serves delicious cakes. I stopped by after a pretty long day and ordered their green tea tiramisu and the Hawaiian Lilikoi based off of Yelp reviews. The green tea tiramisu is amazing! I generally do not like green tea in products other than tea, but the cake did not destroy the flavor of the matcha. At first, you can't really taste the matcha. It's all about the textures initially. The cream is light and fluffy but still thick. Afterwards you'll get the flavor, but it's subtle so you have to be looking for it. The Hawaiian Lilikoi was a pleasant surprise. I've never heard of it, but it's a passion fruit jelly on top with a thick coconut jelly base, and a cake bottom. You can smell the passion fruit almost instantly! Perfect for summer. It's very tart because there isn't a gallon of sugar in the cake, but the coconut and cake blend perfectly with the passion fruit. It was a huge contrast to the subtlety of the green tea. If I had an infinite amount of cash and no fear of death-inducing weight gain, I would probably eat here all the time. read more

It was in easy driving distance to U:don in U village, so I was able to give the Japanese wife a nice Nippon Daily Double. Of course we tried the Green Tea Tiramisu and it deserves the accolades. Two things I need to try at Hiroki in the future: green tea tiramisu and the orange rolls. We arrived craving a sweet after dinner out and about and landed at Hiroki. The (grumble, grumble, b**ch, cough) *nice lady* in front of us snagged the last piece of green tea tiramisu and my friend held me back, not wanting to create a ruckus on an already-full stomach. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr. Plan B: re-reviewing the dessert case, we decided on a gorgeous raspberry-colored Cassis cake (our logical way of thinking decided that although ultimately it's all cake, the fruity flavor would somehow be lighter than the chocolate one). We took it to go and headed out with our treasure. Unwrapping the slice by low-backyard-lighting, the magenta color of the Cassis shone as though lit from within. We grabbed forks and fell upon the slice, savoring the initial sharp tang of berry and then the immediate cool, creaminess of the cake. Yum. I loved how the dessert hit several notes almost instantaneously. I WILL be back for my green tea tiramisu, lady, and you'd best clear out of my way next time. read more

It was good but wasn't that good. I also ordered a piece of chocolate cake (can't remember the exact name) to take to a friend. It was dry. It tasted like it was made not the previous day but a few days prior. I'm guessing chocolate cake is not their best seller and people prefer the more exotic cakes.
