    3. Vegetable Samosa
    Katherine K.

Came here on a weekend with my guy and it was pretty empty. Their weekday lunch special is a really great deal and I would love to come by to try it sometime. Their menu has a lot of items and I kinda wished there were some pictures to make it easier to pick. We started with the Vegetable Samosa, which was basically all potayto, dry, and bland. It was the worst dish of the meal. Lunch itself consisted of Chicken Momo, Bhera ko Saag, and Garlic Herb Naan. The momos were pretty good and didn't even need the sauce it came with. The naan was incredible and they don't skimp on the garlic herb at all! The star of the meal was the Bhera ko Saag by far! While it was a small bowl, they loaded it with lamb so we felt like we were getting what we paid for. The flavors were sensational and worked great with the rice and with the naan.

A sample of the wonderful lunch deal portions!

Food: 10/10 Service: 8/10 Ambiance: 6/10 PRO TIP: They have an excellent lunch deal! You can get two curries, rice, lentil soup + a generous portion of naan for just $11.95! Hard to find deals this good in this economy! This place made me fall in like with Indian food again! I love the Nepalese twists they incorporated into traditional Indian dishes. I came with my husband in February, and we ordered the following: - Salmon tikka masala (absolutely divine) - Chicken vindaloo (delicious) - Chicken chili (a surprise standout! It reminds me of sweet + sour Chinese chicken) - vegetable coconut curry (my least favorite, but still tasty!)

Very nice Lunch Specials. For $11.95, you are served Lentil (Daal) Soup (4/5), Naan (5/5), and a plate with two Indian curries and bismati rice. Very nice presentation. My wife and I each chose the Chicken Chilly (5/5) -- pan-fried marinated chicken strips with bell pepper and onion, cooked with himalayan sauce. For my second curry, I chose the Chicken Vindaloo (4/5), which was very good, but I prefer their Lamb Vindaloo. My wife had the Chicken Tikka Masala (3/5) -- the sauce was too heavy. We also enjoyed an order of the Vegetable Samosas deep fried patties stuffed with spices, potatoes & peas. (5/5 $5 95 for 2 samosas). Service was good. Restaurant ambiance is casual with simple decor.

If you're looking for good food, try this place. It's scrumptious and the price is right! Several of the entrees we had were Chicken Tikka Masala and Chicken Momo; everything was delicious! The staff was kind. I hope you like it like we did!

Love coming to this location. Their Chicken Tikka Masala is flavorful and their garlic naan is always fresh. Service is great and they're very attentive.

Best Indian restaurant in enci hands down! One of those places it's hard to put your fork down it's so good! All the staff is super friendly and welcoming. Ambiance is quiet, good for a date night or a mellow dinner. Portion sizes are family style, one curry is def enough for two but we like to each get our own so we have leftovers for the next day. Would absolutely recommend coming here if you're craving Indian cuisine!

We ate everything. This place was so good and for the right price you can get the lunch special that comes with soup, the nann bread and your main dish. I just love the concept and the decor of the place. It is also much like taste of the Himalayas and I would say that if you're in the area and need a quick lunch spot that's good value and good taste come here because this is it. What I loved about the food is that it is cooked to order and you can tell the nann bread is so fresh and buttery totally worth it.

Not my favorite Indian food. They could reduce the spice levels of a few of the dishes. This could just be that they are making from a different region than the restaurant I normally get Indian food from making it just not taste as good to me. The restaurant was also hot so that might have added to the issue as it's less enjoyable to already be too warm. The interior was interesting with pink walls and what appeared to be orientation art work on the walls. The service was rather rushed. Given to go boxes only about 15 minutes after getting the dishes that we were still eating and talking when brought. The place only had 3 other tables so they were not busy. It just wasn't that good of an experience. I wouldn't go again.

When I go to a new restraint, I always ask their standards and recommendations. I like spicy but I have learned that each cultural food on the spicy level can be 180 different. We ordered two dishes: vg korma no spicy and chicken choila spicy level 4, which was recommended by their server. This place has good amounts of vegetarians options. My partner opted for vegetable korma, which is slightly sweet but the food is flavorful for us. I am not a vegetarian but I definitely like this dish. Chicken choila is so powering, flavorful, and tasty. I am not a fan of chicken breast but the chef did an amazing job on keeping the meat juicy not dry. It has a lot species and ginger in this dish. The chef I believe came out from the kitchen talking to us at the end. He explained this dish is a modified. The original from Nepel is fire roasted buffalo meat (If I dont remember wrong) and is very spicy. I really appreciate he explained it. The portion is very generous. I ate half of the dish and kept another half for the next meal. The brown rice! Oh my...the rice is not soggy and it's legit not boxed frozen rice to me. I had been to other asian restaurants that the rice wasn't cooked good or its frozen rice. I recommend to give a try :) I am a newbie of Indian/ Himalayan food.
