King size bed / 3rd floor

Literally the perfect location for shopping, gas, food, casino and it's right off the freeway. I got upgraded for free to level 3 with a "view". I wouldn't call it a view, more like trees and trails with a itty bitty view of the river. Maybe the rooms to my right have a better view. One of the towels had a black curly coarse hair on it. It was not mine since my hair is straight and not black. Otherwise, the staff were friendly! Another plus is that they do not charge for overnight parking compared to other hotels,

Made a last minute reservation as I was staying the night for work. Located right off of I-5 & near Costco & other shopping or dining. Oh! & across the street from Chevron! So strategically placed! Plenty of on site free parking. I checked in on the app, but make it a point to grab a card just in case. The woman at the desk was friendly & courteous. The room was spacious, clean & the heater was on a snuggling welcome temp as it's pretty cold in the Redding area right now. I had the best nights rest that I woke up a couple hours before my alarm. Comfy bed and fluffy pillows! The view was gorgeous going back to my car. I normally stay at the Home2Suites, but the view and location just may sway me!

Who doesn't like staying in a Hilton!?! We actually had a chance to breakfast downstairs and the food was incredible if not huge in serving size. On too of that, it was yummy...I asked for the home fries to have extra on peppers and onions and they delivered. Service was perfect and the ambiance is typical Hilton which is fabulous. I love Hilton!

Stayed a few nights here during the rain so wasn't able to get out much. Lucky for me the the room was comfy and the staff genuinely fabulous. My only complaint was I was on level two and I could hear ever step of the loud person on the third floor. Also the thermostat light is extremely bright and never turns off. Minor issues overall. The restaurant was quick kind and the food great. Even an afternoon happy hour. Thanks for everything

I booked a weekend stay at the Hilton recently - it was my first quarantine trip, so understandably, I was pretty uncomfortable. Booked in advance, but I was unsure whether I could go due to the fires and air quality, but I'm really happy everything worked out so I could go! Upon arrival, they did temperature checks and check in was smooth; they gave us keurig coffee pods/cream/sugar/etc and two bottles of water. When we entered our room, I was super delighted to see that they got us balloons and cookies. I specified in the notes section that the trip was for my boyfriend's birthday, so I thought it was such a sweet gesture. I used to work in hospitality and these little things count. I brought my own alcohol wipes so the first thing I did was wipe down all touch points in the hotel room (handles, sinks, light switches, remotes, desk, etc). I'm sure the cleaning people did their jobs, but this was just to ease my anxiety haha During my stay (and pre-stay), I encountered Manny, Shawn, and Tiana - all were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Thanks to them, I felt comfortable during my trip. I'd def recommend anyone coming to Redding to stay here and I look forward to returning sometime in the near future! Also, this location is right around the corner from a gas station and innout - what more do you need while traveling?

Full cooked to order breakfast and free if you use your HH points. If not it's $14.95 a person. Rooms were quiet and housekeeping on their toes early with cleaning. Excellent room and customer service as always.

On par Hilton with solid front desk hospitality and excellent waitstaff except for a run in with a nasty waitress. Good God, I haven't had to walk out of a restaurant in so long I don't even remember.

We were very disappointed with this hotel considering the price. It desperately needs to be updated.

Located in the Placer Heights Plaza, next to Starbucks. Same plaza as Holiday Market and CVS Pharmacy. We were seated immediately as they were not busy. The menu was a bit different than online. Our server came to take our order. He didn't introduce himself and seemed like he didn't want to be there. We decided on the fried green tomatoes, fried chicken sandwich and catfish po' boy. When the po' boy came out, we thought it was burnt! We didn't know the catfish will be blackened by default. We thought it will be fried since it is a po' boy. The options can be blackened or fried based on the menu online. We were not given those options by our server. They brought out the food but didnt provide utensils until minutes later. Fried green tomatoes: It was good. Fried perfectly. The dressing that was tossed with the side salad was super salty. Catfish po' boy: Fish was tender but super salty as well. Fried chicken sandwich: Pretty good sandwich. Chicken was huge. The fries was so soggy, not crispy at all. Also very greasy. We were a bit disappointed as we drove out of our way to try this place. Nice ambiance though. I felt I was a bit underdressed lol

Some that had been around since as far back as the 1920's. I love the ambiance, there's no bright LED lights, and the booths have nice dim lamps give just the right amount of light. The filet is always smoky and cooked perfect, and the fried scallops are amazing! I keep wanting to try the rib eye but I like the filet so much I order it every time. The salad is nothing to write home about, just over dressed lettuce and what tastes like canned green beans. But who comes here for the salad anyway? Service here is top notch, very friendly and professional at the same time. You have to get here early on a Saturday night if you don't want to wait for a table. We got here about 4:30 and the place filled up by 5. If you love great steak, great service, and a great atmosphere, you'll love Jack's.
