Salmon and everything bagel with mimosa

AZ was welcoming and professional. Our breakfast was the most important part of our day. It started with a phenomenal view. Looking from left to right just breath taking. Then you enter into the dinning room... beautiful. Glass from floor to ceiling with a 180 degree view of the vineyard. We enjoyed smoked salmon, corn beef hash (SO YUM) and breakfast sandwich (best with the butter they offer). This Hill Top resultant is available to those staying at Carneros. This was a great start to our day or anyone's day

Great brunch and service. A tad pricey but is to be expected at a resort facility. Meals were presented beautifully and food tasted as it should be.

Great service, great views, great food. We ordered chips and guac, fish tacos, a chicken wrap, and brussel sprouts. The food was delicious and you get a beautiful pool side view overlooking Napa. I have to recommend the brussel sprouts, they were my favorite dish!!

Unfortunately you can only eat here if you're staying at the Carneros Inn but it's a good alternative to eating at Boon Fly. Actually, I prefer Hilltop as it's much less crowded, a fantastic view, and the food is almost as good. Over two breakfasts, we enjoyed a fair amount of the menu: Sunrise bowl: Scrambled eggs, black beans, fresh avocado, cheese, scallions, and brown rice in a bowl. Healthy and good. Two eggs (any style) with toast and hashbrowns: You can get creative, if you want, since there are lots of choices for fillings. Once the hashbrowns came much later without explanation. Bagel, cream cheese, and lox: A huge portion of lox. Not a bad choice after a night with one too many glasses of wine. Eggs benedict over hashbrowns (instead of an english muffin): Great idea, ok execution. In my opinion, the hollandaise sauce needed a little more kick (maybe more lemon and cayenne). When we were there, the espresso machine was broken but the regular coffee was pretty good. In general, the servers are nice but service is uneven. But the view - wow. If you can, eat outside.

Chai Latte & cinnamon roll to start

Stepped up to the "Hilltop" dining room for breakfast before heading out for a bike ride. It over looks the pool and hillsides, but it was a bit chilly in the morning, so we opted to sit inside. We were greeted & seated quickly. Ordered a chai latte. And then waters and cinnamon rolls were brought, on the house. Cinnamon roll had been recently drizzled with the glaze. Between my chai latte & roll, I was suffering sugar overload. Ordered the eggs Benedict for breakfast. Hit the spot and I was ready to bike the vineyards. Service was excellent and the dining room provides a serene atmosphere, to sip your coffee while reading the morning paper or chit chatting.

Yes, you must be staying at the Carneros Inn to eat here. Everything about this restaurant was perfect. The view - panoramic view of the country side from inside or outside next to the pool is unbeatable. It creates a very relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere right from the start. The food - I have to admit I got the french toast 3 days in a row, it was that good. It has berries, whip cream, and real maple syrup. I also got the bacon, ham, and potatoes which were all great. They give you - choice of 2 drinks and 1 or 2 sides, depending on your entree choice. The orange juice and coffee were both great. Lastly, the service was always friendly and quick. Couldn't ask for more...

You must stay at the resort to eat here. Food and drinks are pretty good but not exceptional. Standard high end hotel California cuisine. Service however is exceptional and the view is worth every penny.

Agnolotti - Entree, but I felt more of a tapa/appetizer size. The flavors were okay. I was worried that this was not going to be enough food for my daughter, and we are light eaters... Pappardelle - My dish, and currently my go-to pasta. It was just okay. At least it was a decent one serving light eater quantities.... The restaurant looked good also - Modern, clean decor, etc. See pictures. Indoor/outdoor space. Bar, lounge, table, counter table, private room seating, etc. I actually like the outdoor space and would come here for drinks and the live music. And we liked the high quality board games in the resort lobby; my daughter would probably love to hang out here and play some games. Prost tasting room; wine tasting before or after dinner? Plenty of parking, self parking or valet. I checked out both the resort lobby and restaurant indoor/outdoor spaces; see pictures. Live music today. Shared restrooms with the resort. I absolutely have to give this place 5 stars!…read more First tip: Come early. Mustards Grill on the weekend, gets packed --- and gets packed fairly quickly. We had reservations for 11AM, by the time it was 11:30AM, about 85% of the restaurant was filled. By noon? All the tables were taken! Come early, get seated, relax. Service: We had the privilege of having Dwight be our server this afternoon. He was an absolute gem who loves his job, and loves what he does. He explained to us the specials, and some of the dishes he liked; he was a big help! We settled on a few things: the chicken wings (a MUST-HAVE; they are smoked first --- then fried; then tossed in a bit of a sweet seasoning --- it hits all the taste buds!). We also got the sweet potatoes --- good, nothing to write mom about. In addition, I had to get the famous Mongolian Porkchops. Dwight suggested to get it medium (I was a bit apprehensive --- it is pork), but always "trust the chef". So I did. My meal was EXCELLENT. The porkchop was perfectly grilled with some charred bits, and the meat was tender and juicy. Thank you Dwight for your suggestion! All-in-all, Mustards Grill is a MUST if you're ever staying in the Napa Valley. They received a Michelin Star in 2025, and if you try their food, you can clearly see why. After your finished with your meal, step outside and make a right --- and take some photos next to the vineyard. You are in Napa after all!

We were able to book on OpenTable just a few days before, which made making the reservation easy. Upon entering, the restaurant was full and had a classic bistro vibe. Everyone was dressed nicely but not too fancy. You definitely want to wear a nice shirt and dress up a bit if you are coming here for dinner. We were seated at a round table, which provided plenty of space to talk and enjoy our meal. As a starter, we ordered the onion rings. They were fantastic! Perfectly seasoned, and the homemade ketchup was delightful. The portion was large, but we had no problem finishing them because they were excellent. I had the veggie tostada. It had a good spicy kick that I really enjoyed. I am not sure if it was the salsa or the California chilies (red jalapeños) that gave it that heat. My sister had the famous pork chop and said it was the best she had ever had. My mom had the lamb, and she said it was divine. She also got some mashed potatoes to share, and the garlic flavor and texture were both delicious. We ordered two desserts and coffee to finish the meal. The lemon tart was fantastic! I have not had meringue this good since I was in French culinary school. I would come here for this tart alone. The coffee was a delicious close to the meal along with the dessert. We will most definitely be back to bring my husband and enjoy more family meals together. Thank you to our server and the hostess for being so accommodating and for providing us with excellent service.

The prix fixe menu is $69 and includes their signature fried chicken along with appetizers and sides. They also offer daily add-ons, and since we arrived starving, we couldn't resist ordering a few extras. Portions are very generous--so much so that we ended up with plenty of leftovers (which definitely came in clutch later that night!). I'm not exaggerating when I say Thomas Keller and his team truly deliver. The fried chicken was hands down the best I've ever had--perfectly juicy on the inside with an incredibly crispy, flavorful crust. The house-made chips with sour cream dip were absolutely addictive.

We…read morecame here for my birthday dinner, seating was very quick, initial service was prompt and we were looking forward to the pre fixe menu. We ordered a couple drinks from the bar which were brought over to our table, our waiter went over the menu and how the pre fixe meal would proceed. For our starter, we had the Garden snap peas salad. The idea of fresh ingredients of carrots, frisee, arugula, and the Hobbs bacon was going to create a bounty of flavors, but fell short as our salad was doused heavily with dressing. The dressing completely overpowered the vegetables, did not compliment them as anticipated, leaving a very sour/bitter taste after every bite. Even the table next to us felt the dressing was overpowering. For our next course, we ordered the French onion dip and kettle chips appetizer, this was a solid pick! This appetizer was more than enough for two people, actually way too much for both of us, but enjoyed the dip very much. This is where the service began to slow down. We were almost done with our appetizer platter, needing some water refills and a fresh beverage, and felt like a very long time from when we received our appetizer until our waiter came back to us. For context, it had been almost an hour since we initially sat down, ate our salad and appetizer. I know this may be a slow paced meal, but felt overly long before we even got to our main course. For the main course, we had the pork chops. Well portioned for both of us, very tender, but lacked that nice grilled char we personally like. I assume the pork chops were sous vide and then finished lightly on the grill top to give the char and grill marks. Overall good, but not the wow we were anticipating for tonight's meal. Next up was the apple, crisp, dessert, which was OK and underwhelmed. We skipped the cheese and pretzel plate and asked them to put it in a to go box as we were already approaching two hours into our meal. Our experience may not be typical, but for a very expensive Friday night dinner, we felt it could've been spent elsewhere and would have had a better value overall.
