Today, I went back because I started hearing this awful squeaky/grinding sound coming from one of my front tires/brakes. Emmanuel (Owner) put my car up on the lift, took off tire, examined it, and was able to find a small rock caught between the tire and the break. He showed me the rock and where it had lodged itself. After putting everything back together, he handed me my keys and sent me on my way-no charge at all, even though he spent a good 40 minutes fixing it!!! I'm so thankful for his help, his labor, and his precious time. Most importantly thankful for his honesty. He could've easily said I needed new parts, but he didn't. This time, I didn't even have to leave the shop. ( made an appointment yesterday) He took care of my car as soon as he became available. The only thing I didn't like was actually the customers in the small waiting room on their phone playing games with sound on and talking on speaker phone. No etiquette. :( Recommend by my friend who used to get service from the previous owner of this shop who also was an honest man. I will definitely continue to come back here.

After waiting 10 minutes for the owner to return, we were sent away, being told they were unable to fix (wouldn't even LOOK at it) and to go to a body shop. We barely made it back home and eventually fixed it on our own. Obviously if we could fix it, they could have. Not returning or recommending to anyone.

I brought my second car to the shop which is now 14 years old because it sounded like it was going to lose something every time I turned left or right. They got me in right away, the mechanic drove with me for about a mile to hear what I heard and immediately knew what was going on. Loose screw!!!! They tightened it and sent me on my way free of charge. I love these guys. I hope they're around for a long time. The staff is stellar. Happy customer.

So, this story starts off late last week of Friday November 24th in dropping off a friend. I…read morestarted seeing the seatbelt icon flickering on my dashboard. At the stop light I looked around to see if there was anything on any of the other seats in my sedan. I found nothing to set off the sensors, so either a spirit was riding with me or it was my seatbelt that needed readjusting. I undid it & then buckled it back & that seemed to help in not seeing the light on anymore. So fast forward that next Tuesday the 28th I went to auto-start my car to warm it up while I did a few more things in getting ready to leave. After taking out the trash I noticed my car was off, which happens when it's fully warmed & has been sitting idle for awhile. So I started it up again, only for it to start, but then shut off again moments later. As I went to auto-start it again, it turned on by itself, but then shut off, only to repeat the process. So I'm thinking WTF?! In hoping it's not an electrical problem. I started it manually now in which it stayed on, but now the battery light was on along with the flickering seatbelt light on the dash. So I'm watching both of these lights going on & off & feeling the car shudder like it's not getting enough (juice) & wants to die. So I'm thinking "great my battery is dying." Freaked out in wondering if the car will make it to a shop, I took it to Les Schwab first in them doing a test. Turned out after adjusting my battery connection, that "seemed" to be the problem & both lights went out & all seemed fine until leaving their lot & hitting that steep hill on 35th. All resumed as before. So desperate & stressed at this point cause there was only so much Les Schwab could do, & the dealership I usually take my car to was booked out till early next year I thought of Ben from C.A.R. - Complete Auto Repair. I talked to him over the phone in describing what was happening. He went over a few things with me on what he thought could be the issue, but also told me he was booked out most of the rest of the year going into next year as I understood he may, as are most others at this time. But he still said to bring it in & he'd see what he could do for me. Which I did literally that same day. I told him how thankful I was & that he'd get back with me by the next day or so once he figured what the issue/issues were. Sure enough that Wednesday, I had my answer that it was in fact the alternator & battery in both needing to be replaced, which the alternator was at least 10 years old & the battery close to 5 years, so it made sense. I was thankful that was all it was. It came to just over a grand in expenses but well worth it. Ben was upfront, honest, efficient, & hella fast in getting my car up & working properly later that next day. There was no way it would have made it till the next oil change in early January of next year. Highly recommend Ben & I can see why he's so busy!! Happy Holidays!

I brought the truck back and it turned out that it had some issues .They told me that they missed the issue, and they would pay for labor, but I had to pay for the parts. I just had them do it. When I picked the truck up, I brought it home, it ran beautifully! I showed my father in law the ticket, it was only $826. He is a mechanic from Chicago, and explained that this was 3k in work, and no mechanic would do that through a scam. Of course you would think they are scamming you, but their helpful attitude totally proves otherwise. It was a complete honest sale, These people are real people. When they sell you a vehicle, they sell you a used vehicle that will run. They also fixed it in 24 hours! I have brought all my vehicles here for 6 years, and I always will. These people are the real deal. I can't express how much I appreciate them. Good mechanics are hard to find, and these guys know what they are doing.

He quoted…read moreme a price that was $1000 cheaper than the other 6 or 7 shops and also installed a transmission cooler to stop what was causing the transmission to break down in the first place at no extra charge. That was 2 years ago and it is still working great. I have sibnce had several other repairs done and they are always resonably priced and the work is done quickly. I have never been disappointed by Mark at Seattle Transmission and do not plan to go anywhere else from now on.
