Super yummy coffee stand at the farmers market! It was their last service at the DeAnza farmers market because they are opening up a store front in a few months, which I will definitely be visiting! The baristas were super friendly. They have very unique drinks, a friend got their pandan latte which had very strong but not super sweet pandan taste. I got their melattea which as a latte with jasmine tea syrup which was absolutely delicious! We also tried their vegan coconut latte (I forgot the name) which was made with coconut milk, it was interesting and a strong coconut taste. I can't wait to their new store!
Looking forward to their official shop opening up, but had the pleasure of stopping by their last visit at the DeAnza Farmers Market! Got the kleppon latte with the coconut it comes with, and a few friends got the melattea latte with oat and the pandan latte with whole milk. Loved trying the new flavors and was impressed by the pronounced pandan flavor, but really enjoyed the floral notes from the melattea (wishing it wasn't so seasonal). Will be coming back in the fall to their new place, but will be missed in the meantime!

Between the two, I liked the pandan latte because it tasted like coconut and was kinda creamy tasting. The melattea had a nice floral flavor. Would go again for a different iced latte
Found Hijau at the farmers market! They're a pop up that serves Indonesian specialty coffee drinks! I went with the Klepon Latte, which includes espresso, coconut milk, palm sugar, Pandan syrup, and coconut flakes. It was an enjoyable sip of coffee and the pandan flavor was very tasty. If you're looking to try some Indonesian coffee, give them a try!
This place was really great! Waited in line and the line went by quick the employees are really friendly and took our order really quick. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They had a nice waiting area with lounge chairs and an umbrella.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]While waiting it was getting warm and they offered an ice water.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our order was finally ready and we ordered the pandan latte and subbed with oat milk. The drink was very delicious and a great treat! I'll definitely come back next time.
This stand located at De Anza College Farmers' Market. I sell coffee, matcha and also some Indonesia sweet/dessert. The one interesting coffee they have is the Wedang (Wedang jahe is a traditional Indonesian hot beverage) coffee which is usually mix with tea. It is unique as the coffee has some spice taste. The matcha is pretty good. I wish they have other Indonesia coffee like coffee with Brown sugar(Gula Aren) as this is more authentic and kind of very famous and common coffee mix in Indonesia. The service is pretty quick and it is nice to have some Indonesia coffee stall around as one by one Indonesia specialty coffee store close. You can stop by when you are around on Sunday at the Farmers market and try the Wedang Coffee.
I noticed this coffee stand because of the crowd of people standing in front of it waiting for their coffee every Sunday morning at the farmer's market. I was always wondering if the coffee was really that good. Finally, I couldn't resist my curiosity and decided to give it a try. I ordered the seasonal special drink, the Wudang Latte. Wow -- I really liked the taste! It had a strong ginger flavor mixed with the aroma of coffee and the sweetness from the syrup. The drink warmed up my body and refreshed my mind immediately, which was perfect for the winter. I will come back to try other drinks and hope they bring more special ones.
First off, this coffee is STRONG! I don't drink coffee normally so this straight up kept me up all night. This place is also really popular at the De Anza farmers market, so they may run out of certain drinks. I got there at around 11:30 ish and the guava matcha and another roasted corn (?) drink were gone. Would definitely want to try the guava matcha at some point. There was a short line that moved quickly. The staff were friendly and service was quick. I ordered a panda latte and the pandan flavor was great at first, but it quickly got overshadowed by the coffee flavor and completely disappeared after a few sips. I would've liked the pandan flavor to stick around a bit more. Halfway through the drink, it just felt like I was drinking a regular sweetened iced latte.
I'm glad I got to try Hijau on their last day of service before going on break! Most of the people going to the rose garden farmers market seem to be for Hijau, so I hope they come back soon! The owners are a very sweet couple who seem passionate and enthusiastic about their craft, as they should be! I got the Klepon latte and my partner got the pandan latte and we loved them. They were unique and I haven't had anything like it before. Everything tasted natural and fresh. I hope to try something from them again next time!
I was excited to try this place out once I saw videos on Instagram! This was my first time at the farmer's market and there were lots of parking spots. It was busy ~10 am but that was no problem. I ordered all of the signature lattes and I do not regret it. The pandan latte had a smooth flavor. Usually with pandan flavored things you can tell it's slightly artificial and too sweet but this was delicious. I believe they make their own syrups with the pandan leaf and even top all of the pandan coffee drinks with the leaf. The nastar latte was an unexpected treat but the subtle pineapple flavor was incredible and unique. It doesn't taste too sweet like pineapple juice but spiced slightly to offset the sweetness. It was delicious and refreshing. The klepon had a nice coconut addition to the pandan latte. With some southeast Asian pandan treats there's usually a coconut flavor added. This drink reminded me of the filipino dessert buko pandan. I loved it. Overall the drinks were delicious, the staff was very nice, and the experience was great. I'm sad I caught them before their winter break but I'm excited to go back later.

Update on this: Hijau won't be at the De Anza Farmers Market anymore since they'll be getting their own storefront now! For the past 10 months, I enjoyed their coffee and it was a great way to start my Sundays. During that time I tried more items from their menu, including limited specials and coffee beans. In addition to the Pandan Latte, I love their Melattea and Black Forest Mocha. These coffees have a fragrant tastes to it that makes it unique. I will miss seeing Hijau at the De Anza Farmers Market, but I look forward to their storefront and will definitely give it a visit when it opens! read more
Cute coffee tent at the Cupertino farmers market serving unique Indonesian flavors! I have been eyeing this spot for quite a bit since I haven't had anything in the South Bay similar to Hijau. The closest place that I have had Indonesian coffee is Kopiku in SF (but that is so far!) I ended up ordering a Klepon which is an espresso based latte with coconut milk, Pandan syrup made with palm sugar, coconut flakes! This had such distinctive flavoring that played homage to south East Asian flavors and was so comforting, especially when it was served hot. I love how balanced the pandan and palm sugar was. It wasn't too sweet at all! I am eager to try more flavors here. Service was fast and quick and only took max 10 minutes to get my drink even with a line. I heard they are opening a store front - you definitely have a unique selling point in the South Bay! Rooting for your success! read more

I heard about this place through my brother and sister in law, I tried it and fell in lovee. I'm drinking some as I'm writing this review because it's amazing. I love pandan flavored food and drinks, I got the Pandan Latte, so I definitely recommend it for someone who wants energy and a touch of sweetness. The service was amazing it's two ladies working this stand and you don't have to wait long it takes about 5 minutes which is amazing, since most coffee shops I've been to takes a while for the drinks, so I definitely love their welcoming energy. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place that this stand is next to is a farmers market and I love that when you get there you can just feel that you fit in, pandan is something very unique since you don't hear about it much.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The coffee just opened a door for me to want to find more pandan flavored things. read more

I came to the farmers market mainly to try this (and pick up bread). I got the Nastar Latte this time iced. At first, I really didn't get a good sip. I started mixing up the sendiments at the bottom and it really helped. It's got that dried pineapple kind of taste and the espresso was nice. I felt that I was rummaging a lot to get the good flavor, so that sucked. I may have enjoyed this better as a hot drink but who knows. I'd recommend anyone give this place a try. A neat little spot at the farmer's market! I'm not a fan of coffee but still wanted to support because Indonesian coffee sounded really interesting, and I'm glad they had non-coffee options. I ordered a pandan steamer with oat milk, which was delightfully nutty and toasty. It's not overwhelmingly sweet either. Service was great, and the people in charge were really friendly and chatted me up. If I was a coffee fan, I'd definitely want to try their regular coffee drinks, but alas... read more

[[HIGHLIGHT]]The Rose Garden farmers market is small but nice, and we're happy that the cafe had a few seats available.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]We came around 10:30 and it wasn't too busy.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We ordered the pandan latte and really enjoyed it! My husband says it's one of the best flavored lattes he's had, and I have to agree! Sweet, but the perfect amount. I think this place is new since I've never seen this stall before which is at the farmer's market. It was pretty crowded when I went since it was a very hot day in San Jose! Service was excellent as the ( couple? ) started making my drink right away and were very friendly. You MUST get the pandan latte! It has a very unique taste which tasted good on a hot day! What a cute indo-inspired coffee pop-up at the Rose Garden Farmers Market! I love that it's woman and immigrant-owned! Luckily, the Farmers Market is located across from Lincoln High School so the parking is abundant. We decided to pop by after our brunch at John's Pancake House since it was only a mile away. There were A LOT of people in line, but it moved quickly. One of the top recommended drinks was the pandan latte ($6.25), with house-made pandan syrup and a real pandan leaf! I got the iced version while my fiancé got the hot version. I would definitely recommend half syrup or even 25% syrup if you are used to drinking regular lattes. It taste very similar to vanilla syrup but more natural, nutty, and floral. Be sure to pop by every Saturday at the Rose Garden Farmers Market or follow their Instagram @wearehijau for any updates. read more

Vibez: a pop up at the Rose Garden farmers market, located in the parking lot lot across the street from Lincoln High School, you're know you're at the right spot when you approach the green tent with the mobile espresso maker. Parking is plentiful, short walk from where you park to the market. Market itself is only about 12 tents, but good vege/fruit selection despite limited vendors! Nastar Lattee: The short of it is that it is a medium sweet latte with subtle notes of pineapple flavor. I had it with whole milk, and all the flavors worked great. The medium fruity sweetness it's the tastebuds first, followed by the milky coffee notes. Pandan steamer: for kids I assume, which is why my wife got it. Not super sweet, but sweet enough. my sister and i got the happy soda and 2 pandan lattes (1 hot & 1 cold)- it was amazing and the service was great will definitely go again bc this is such a great addition to the rose garden fm ! i preferred the hot pandan latte because the way the milk was textured makes it so velvety and rich (you can really taste the pandan). the happy soda was also great and is also very sweet :) this coffee is great to pair with everything else offered at the rose garden fm- from the popcorn to grocery shopping for veggies to the strawberries too! so happy that it's there definitely come before 10am because the line starts getting serious after haha read more

Hijau is a must-try!! Their klepon latte is super yummy. You can taste a hint of caramelized coconut and sugar in it. The pandan latte is also delicious. You can smell and taste its flavor. I can't wait to explore their menu, and Nastar latte is on my bucket list! read more

My husband and I are coffee lovers. We really happy to find this coffee stand and hidden in the Rose Garden Framer's Market. I ordered their all latte: Pandan latte, nastar latter, Klepon latte. We enjoyed all. I love allbecause every latte has its own flavor. We will absolutely visit again! read more

Stopped by the cute Indonesia-inspired coffee stand in rose garden farmers market...the business idea to serve Indonesian flavor coffee is so cool and unique! I tried the nastar latte, not too sweet , but flavorful. I like it! Will come back for sure next time in farmer's market!!!! read more

Yummy yummy!! Highly recommend for a quality cup of coffee! It may be a bit pricey for a cup of coffee from a stand at the farmers market, but you're going to get what you pay for! It doesn't matter where, quality is all that's matter. I look forward to Saturday morning every week. I hope that they pop up at other farmers market, so more people get to know them. I've had pandan lattes from other places, but Hijau wins the strongest flavor. My favorite drink here is the Klepon! Overall, the lattes are super smooth. Come early because it gets sold out quick. read more

The nastar latte was delicious and I took a sip of my husband's pandan latte. This is the most crave inducing delicious coffee I have had and my biggest hope is that some day there's a storefront so I can order it often. I'll be back for sure! read more
