**Update** I didn't check the new curtains when I picked them up, but I guess I should've. My husband went to hang them and found a big stain on one of the panels. They're also not altered to the correct length. I asked for 3 inches, but only 2 inches were taken off, so they still drag on the floor.
It's also only fair to mention the owner did leave me a voicemail about the no refund situation. He said he's the only one who can issue a refund, which is fine, but no one ever told me this. As noted below, he originally told me I could come back whenever was convenient and he would leave a note so anyone working would be able to assist.
Anyways, he said he'll refund my $35 for the original pair of curtains if I take this review down, but as I said below, I'm not making another trip there. It's fine, I learned a lesson. He also went on about how I get to keep both pairs of curtains, which is pretty obvious, since I bought them both. The first pair is ruined and the second pair was returned stained and hemmed to the wrong length, but yes, I have now purchased two pairs of curtains, and I am still currently the proud owner of both.

I can't sew at all, so when my husband and I bought a new pair of curtains, I took them here to have a few inches taken off the bottom. When I went to pick them up, they were also neatly pressed, which I super appreciated, at first...
I got home, hung the curtains up and then we realized there were holes in the backing all over these brand new curtains that were flawless when I dropped them off to be altered. I took them back in, showed them to Erik, the owner and I thought we had a really nice chat. He apologized and gave me two options -- 1. Store credit for the price of the curtains and the alterations or 2. I could buy new curtains, bring them back for another round of alterations and he'd pay for the old curtains.
I chose option two. He's only there certain hours, but told me he'd leave a note, so whoever's working when I come back would know what we discussed. Last week, I brought the new curtains in and the receipt for the old ones, explained the situation to the girl working and I thought all was well. Today, I went to pick the new curtains up and while I wasn't charged for alterations (I paid for the first round), the man working didn't know anything about the refund for my first curtains. He called Erik and told me I'd have to come back yet again next week to discuss, which clearly means he isn't giving me the refund he promised.
I've already been there 5x for these curtains, so I'm over this. Definitely not returning. I'm a pretty easy customer to work with. I didn't even get mad that they ruined my first pair of curtains, because I get that mistakes happen. However, I don't appreciate it when people lie to my face. We just moved to the neighborhood and this is our closest dry cleaner, but because of a pair of $35 curtains, we won't be back. read more
