After being a loyal customer for years due to the convenience of this location near my home, I was extremely disappointed by the way I was treated today. I sent my husband to pick up my item, and he was charged for an alteration that was never mine. We were told it was a "past due balance," which made no sense as I have never had any outstanding charges. When I called to clarify, the owner, Sheri, admitted there may have been a mistake and that they likely confused me with another customer. However, instead of apologizing, she abruptly said she had customers waiting and could not continue the conversation, telling me I would need to physically return with the card later. I called back an hour later and provided my credit card information for the refund. While she agreed to process it before closing, when I expressed frustration over the inconvenience and their error, her response was, "Maybe you should find a place that makes you happier." What disappointed me most was not the billing mistake itself, but the complete lack of accountability, professionalism, or basic customer care. After 8 years of patronage, I will never return. I expected far better treatment from a business I supported for so long. This place seriously needs better leadership and customer service. read more

OK, so first of all the Owner is an amazing lady and help rectify the situation. I sent my dresses in for an Oscar red carpet event yesterday Sunday. I brought the dresses in on Wednesday and said I need to pick them up on Saturday afternoon please. I arrived Sunday a few hours before the event to pick up dress and it had disappeared. They could not find it. The new staff member that was hired lost the dresses and marked it to be picked up Monday. These things happen. It was not a good situation, but myself and the owner searched the back and we found the dress . she steamed it for me , i when on my way and made it in time. otherwise I've had really great experiences with ultimate Cleaners, but this one was really bad. read more

Maybe things have improved here but I stopped coming here after losing 2 very nice bespoke shirts. I own inexpensive shirts but received a gift certificate to have some shirts made by a local tailor. They had special folding cuffs and I was able to choose the fabric. I didn't notice the first shirt missing in my order, but after the 2nd shirt went missing, I took notice. I went to inquire about the missing shirts and they could not locate them. They were apologetic but there was nothing they could do for me. It did occur to me that only the bespoke shirts went missing and I feared that maybe someone 'just liked' them. I decided to never come back. read more

Had 3 items altered, and the job was so horrendous, we had to come back for a 2nd time for them to fix all 3 items. When we came back for the 3rd time, the stitching was still off and such a messy job, they didn't clean up any of the stray threads and even left a long piece on one of the item. The stitching was so uneven and the placement was all wrong. I couldn't believe someone could mess up such easy alterations. Do not go here, they didn't even offer a discount or anything for the inconvenience and poor job. There were also spots on my brand new white top that were not there before, the owner had me leave it to be cleaned again, but they did not come out. 4 trips total were made there for the same items, and not a single apology, the owner acted like a child and tried to gaslight us. Shockingly expensive. I do want to mention that everyone was very friendly and welcoming. When I dropped off my five shirts and asked about the price I was told $8. This seemed very inexpensive to me (great!) but thought that was accurate since the alternative was I was being quoted $8 per shirt, which was even less likely in my mind. When I went to pick them up I was charged over $40 and was told that there are "online coupons". I did not know about the online coupons so I was charged full price. read more

I brought my very expensive cashmere sweater here for alterations, I was told that all the little holes would be sewed for a fixed price. When I picked up the sweater I noticed that there were still several holes that were not fixed, they would not do anything about it. DO NOT take your clothes here for repair or alterations, they are ripping people off and not honoring what they say verbally. Also not sure what kind of products they are using to dry clean cashmere, my sweater has particles that keep coming off the fabric. Very UNsatisfied with Ultimate Cleaners! read more

Absolutely love this cleaner! They are fast, efficient, and friendly. We had our couch cushion covers cleaned here and not only was it done quickly, it was a fair price. And they've never looked better. This is an excellent neighborhood find and I'll happily bring any and all clothes that need to be dry cleaned. I needed an emergency cleaning service to catch a flight to Hawaii. Went to 3 different places who boast "one day service " and was told it would be anywhere between 3and 5 days!! They would hit you and yell at you so be aware !!! So I've been coming here for a long time now since I work in the area. I brought my silk blouse here which was new (I bring all my stuff here for a 1,5 already so it wasn't the first time ) , when I was about to pick it up I realized that they ruined it completely so I asked them kindly to fix it for me or replace it . I didn't care how they fix it , I just wanted to have it in the same condition as it was. I never asked for money or anything I was simply asking for the same condition what I brought it in. Now it's been three weeks since I asked them (in the meantime I spoke to the lady on the phone twice already and we agreed on they'll Replace it or try to fix it . Today I came by and right away she attacked me like this , called me a piece of shit, con artist, etc and literally got physical with me, she was about to hit me if I wouldn't step away from here , that's when I started to record her . She also said that blouse is 15 years old (I'm 30 so in her mind I bought it when I was 15 years old ) and also she mentioned that my blouse is a cheap shit she said probably I got it at the second hand store and get out of the store (it's a pure silk blouse which was brand new and which I spent the money to get cleaned , also I don't keep receipts but I never even asked her for money so I don't understand why she needed the receipt so bad. ) also she said that's how I make my money being a con artist. She didn't even want to give me back my blouse as you could see on the video. She also said she's never seen me here before , I asked her to look me up in the computer because I come here a lot for cleaning , tailoring , to get my shoes fixed .She not suppose to hit me and yell at me and not give my own blouse back . I dropped off a suit here to be altered and cleaned. When I came in to pick it up they told me they had not altered it because I had not tried it on. Which was not true. I had to wait 30 minutes for the lady to get in and did try it on, she just forgot to write down how much to let the pants out. So I tried the pants back on and she measured again. She told me there would be no charge for the alteration and to come back at 5pm to pick them up. As I am changing another woman tells me "I tried to call, I left a message." As I had received no phone calls or messages concerning this I asked her what number she had called. She had dialed the wrong area code and left a message on someone else's voice mail. She apologized and they both assured me that my suit would be ready at 5pm and there would be no charge for the alteration. I had to leave work to go and pick up the suit and when I got there there was a guy at the register. My suit was ready, and altered. When he rang me up I looked at the bill and asked him about the alteration charge. He began speaking in hebrew to the alteration lady and he then tells me I was mistaken and that she doesn't speak very good english. I would have been fine paying the alteration fee, had I not been told that there would be no charge......IN PLAIN ENGLISH. I feel decieved, I am angry, and I will NEVER do business with these shysters again! This has been an absolute fiasco from the gate. read more

Another cleaners bites the dust. I brought in 7 pieces for drycleaning and 1 for laudry. I dropped this off on a Monday and was promised it would be ready Tuesday. The lady who helped me was the owner, her name is Sherry. I thought wow, she is so nice and caring about my needs! I told her about the other experiences I have had at Flair (see review) and she said, that wouldn't happen here, you can trust us! Ha. I went to pick up my stuff today (Thursday) and my dry cleaning was ready but not the laundry...hmm. Strage because I was assured it would be done, now why wouldn't they let me know? I asked if it was ready and nonchalantly the lady said we can't find it. Um ok, wouldn't you be a little more worried to tell your customer that her shirt was missing? So needless to say, dear Sherry comes over to show me a black long sleeved shirt asking if it was mine. It was Express, and no my husband doesn't wear Express shirts. I was like, is it missing, she said "Oh, it might be in the machine getting washed again, but I don't know." Wow you aren't so nice anymore Sherry. So I got a little pissed, didn't yell but pissed. I said you better find that shirt or I will get REALLY mad. She said, yeah it probably is in the machine and refused to open it for me. You would have thought she would be more understanding being that she said I could trust her no less than 72 hours earlier right? WRONG. She tells me to go run and errand or two because the machine won't be done for 30 minutes. I leave and said to call me as soon as it is open. She does, the shirt was in there. THANK GOODNESS. I come back to pick it up, she doesn't say ANYTHING to me, no apologies, no DISCOUNT nothing! All of that for $72.15. RIP OFF central. I will NEVER be back. read more

I have a lot of cleaners in my neighborhood, but I always go back to Ultimate. I keep coupons for their discounts in my car! As a garment manufacturer, I have had a couple of big situations with production stains or pressing in my factories, and Ultimate has saved my orders. Sherry is very easy to work with and always gives me an honest evaluation of problem fabrics. I have had problems with other cleaners that don't respect my "light pressing" request on expensive black jackets, and they have come back all shiny, but this has never happened at Ultimate. I haven't used their alteration service as I have a sewing room at work, but the gentleman in the shoe repair fixed my broken favorite suitcase and gave it many more years of use for $15.00. read more

I can't review the dry cleaners, but I can the shoe repair. Don't go here. I took in a brand new pair of Rag & Bone booties to have the uppers stretched, and while they were doing that, he broke a strap on one of the booties. I picked up the shoes on Saturday and pointed out that he had broken it. I left them to have him fix them by the next day, when I wanted to wear the booties to an event, and he didn't even bother fixing. I had to take them to another place to fix. I would never go back again. Overpriced as well. read more
