Talk about a soap opera story of redemption! Happy Bubbles had been my jam since 2020 and I've seen the highs and lows of scams living in LA. This one is easily top 5 stories of corruption where the owners were nonethewiser to the employees that were skimming money off the top and operating with a fingers on the scale. With the changing of the guard, Jotti and her husband Mickey caught the crooks red handed; embezzling thousands and thousands from customers, the register and uncovered their scheme of hiring a third party fluff and fold to actually do the customers laundry! Until this day there are customers who are shocked that this had carried on for as long as it did and feel betrayed by the father/daughter scheme. Now that this fraud has been ironed out, I can legitimately recommend Happy Bubbles Laundry for all your clothing upkeep needs! Angie is a sweetheart and has been hospitable since day one! She is the hardest worker in North Hollywood and has even watched her grandkids while managing the place! She's the first one in and last one out! And what's most impressive is that she seems to always be in good spirits with a smile on her face! Yes, they do accept Apple Pay, but honestly, at what cost? I've stopped going here because the overall quality has gone downhill. The parking lot no longer seems to be regulated, many of the machines feel worn down or in need of maintenance, and yet the prices keep going up. Seven dollars for a single wash is hard to justify when there are plenty of more affordable options between the Valley and LA. I now prefer to just get coins and use my local laundromat instead. This place used to have a lot of charm, and I really miss the way it felt before certain staff members moved on. They no longer offer small touches like free water or candy, and the customer service has become uncomfortable and unwelcoming. I always try to be friendly, but even then the interactions feel awkward. I truly miss what this laundromat used to be, but I can't recommend it in its current state. read more

I returned to this laundromat this past weekend because I was in the area and I have used this place in the past. I enjoy washing my clothes here for the most part. It was not packed even though it had rained and I was able to start washing right away; no wait time. This laundromat offers contactless payments, even apple pay or your old fashion style- paying with quarters. This place is very well organized, clean and they have plenty of working machines. They have carts with mini lincense plates and names to each cart. They have two vending machines that sell sodas and snacks, and they also sell laundry soap, supplies, etc. Additionally, I believe they also offer their own wash n fold services. Parking lot is a decent size and there is also street parking. Bathroom, sink available for customers as well as a outdoor mini patio where you can also sit to wait. It saddens me to update my FIVE STAR review from five years ago but alas. The new ownership has really let this establishment go down. Gary and Joe CARED! The fact that everyone knew their names is proof!!!! They were always around and held themselves and their staff to such high standards. Someone was ALWAYS repairing, cleaning, and helping. Yet for the last several months it has been a noticeable difference--machines are gross and nasty, there are always several machines out of order, the staff is either rude or unable to help or both. As I'm typing this, a young staff member is just to my left haphazardly wiping a counter with the enthusiasm of a piece of lint. And 30 min ago I came to the counter to complain that a machine is out with no sign. The "I don't care" attitude of the other woman in back was par for the course. She said, "Yeah, people keep taking the signs off." And just stared at me. She couldn't have cared less and made no effort to help!!!!!! Twice recently, I've accidentally left items in a machine only to return a few days later to hear the same story: "Sorry, people often take stuff." Sure, that happens, but when Gary and Joe ran the place, their staff was always cleaning up and monitoring!!! If something was left behind, they gathered it and held it until someone came to claim it. Worse? They would always free water and candy. No such courtesy exists now. While that seems trivial, it's not. Customers like to feel that owners and managers appreciate their business, and that they care. But since the change in ownership, that is no longer the case. It's sad that laundry is a service people will always need and one less customer doesn't matter. I guess the new owners don't HAVE to care, huh? It's so sad. read more

We had a massive amount of clothes that needed washing that would've taken too long with our home washer so headed to Happy Bubbles. It's a clean space, well lit, organized, with well maintained machines. Never had to deal with weirdos there, which is a plus. They have vending machines for snacks as well as detergent in case you forget it. The carts are super helpful for getting your clothes to and from your car. I love coming here it's always clean, but idk what happen today, floors were dirty, drying sheets all over the floor, girl was not coming out to clean or pick up the drying sheets from the floor which I think that's dangerous you can slip, I saw this little girl skating all over the laundry mat, no one told her anything she almost slip like 3 times, bumping into ppl I'm sure anybody could of got hurt with this little girl skating all over the place, the attendant should of came out and talked to the mother of this child, another thing u notice she was just taking peoples clothes of of them drying not even asking around if it belong to someone there she just put them in trash bags read more

I dropped off all my vacation clothes to get cleaned and they did such a good job. Everything was nicely clean and folded.

DO NOT use the larger industrial dryers. I ran it for an hour and a half and my laundry is still damp. You're better off using the smaller dryers, they actually get hot. Also, they have increased their prices so much, you will easily be spending over $50+ just do run a couple loads of laundry. Make sure you budget for running the dryers multiple times too as they don't dry your clothes. If you're doing one load, then you're fine. read more

The staff at this place are weirdos and there is one girl in particular (with short curly hair) that is on some crazy power trip and I see plenty other reviews mention her rude attitude here as well. I moved to the area recently & have tried coming twice, BOTH times I was treated poorly immediately upon entering. I tried coming to wash a bigger piece that doesn't fit in my machine I have at home & first occasion I came just after 9:30pm and was immediately told "No more washes for the night. Last wash was at 9:30", which is fine but I thought there could've been a much nicer way of letting me know. This second time I just needed $5 in quarters & I saw other reviews here post their signage allowing neighbors to get change so thought it'd be nbd. As I'm getting change the girl comes over asking if I'm trying to wash & I said no. She went off on me telling me "well for future this machine here is only for customers". She then had the nerve to stand there right next to me with her arms crossed just watching me as my change dispensed, honestly this girl is clearly miserable and it shows! If they no longer allow this, there's no signage anywhere that says it's not allowed and again their delivery is so off. They act like they are doing YOU the biggest favor when you enter. I'd recommend SoCal Wash and Fold nearby instead. Staff there is super friendly, much larger/cleaner facility, and they are open 24 hours! No need to ever come here. read more

The washers clean well, but they're extremely expensive and don't spin the clothes properly. Charging 25 cents for just four minutes of extra spin time feels intentional--like the machines are designed to leave clothes overly wet so you have to spend more on drying. In general this place has done a good job for a good price! But last time, they shrank and stained my clothing items. When I called about my shrunken nice shirt (NOT a dry cleaning shirt), and stains on another I was contacted by Kathy, a very rude and unprofessional employee (she was the one who handled my last clothes cleaning). Originally she said I can receive a 'discount' for part of what my items cost. The total lost over my clothing items are $55. Why would I go back if my items were ruined. Additionally she said they do NOT check to see details on items needed to be washed, when their website clearly states they do. When I expressed that a discount won't replace my shirt, Kathy said, 'then do not to come back.' That is the WORST thing she could have said after she ruined my items and did not take responsibility for her failures. I expressed that these answer do not solve my problem, that was caused from false advertising and lack of care, she said she will talk to the owner. When asking when I can expect a call back she said 'WE' cannot bother the boss, as in me and her. Am I not a customer who has been wronged? And yet I'm a 'bother'? I went in to speak with the own because Kathy had never called me back, even though she claimed she would. I was offered a $25 credit for my ruined items. Not even half. The owner was friendly enough but told me he won't be able to make me happy, as in they will NOT correct their mistake. So now I'm out the money of these items due to this company and Kathy's mistakes. read more

Going to Happy Bubbles Laundromat recently was the first time I've ever gone to a laundromat. Thankfully my experience was pretty straight forward and easy. Naturally, laundromats aren't in the nicest areas, but this place wasn't bad--it could've been worse. I guess the best part of this joint is that they take credit cards and you don't need any cash although they have changes machines. Also, I thought it was real cheap to get your clothes washed/dried. They sell soap and dryer sheets if you need them. The whole place is pretty clean and I like how they have wifi even though I didn't use it. They got benches, tables outside, and big areas to fold clothing. If you're hungry, there are plenty of restaurants outside. Happy Bubbles is great! read more

Used them for a pick-up fluff and fold and couldn't be happier. They picked it up about 8:30 AM and it was returned the same day, even though the website said tomorrow. They provided me with a big duffle bag for the next load. Even better, they hung all the collard shirts on hangers. There was no extra charge for the pickup and return. read more

I took my kids on a vacation. We flew out on Sunday. Our flight back was on Thursday. It was Wednesday and we were just lounging in our room. Granted I have been working 2-3 hrs in the morning after the gym so I was never fully on vacation but still.. that is 4 days worth of clothes that needed to be washed. I came here early one morning to use the high capacity machine. It was clean and comfortable and quick and I was done and home before it got hot. I have no idea if the prices are good.
