I had a great experience here today. I like that you don't have to bring quarters, since they are on a card system that you load. They have a parking lot in the back, and they even have a bathroom that you can use if you have purchased a card to do your laundry. They also have little tables where you can sit and do some work while waiting for your laundry. The young man in charge was super helpful (I forgot to ask his name!). I used to come here for years, up until they changed their opening time. Since it's a small place and can get full quickly, I would usually arrive early. Unfortunately, they went from opening at 7 a.m. to almost 8 a.m. on the weekends, which made it inconvenient. Also, the place just isn't what it used to be. Like others have mentioned, it's always dirty, the machines are often broken, the attendant's are no where to be found and the prices feel too high for what you get. This laundromat has gone seriously downhill. It's extremely run down, dirty, and overpriced for the condition it's in. Dozens of washers and dryers have been out of order for months, with "SORRY" signs still hanging on them and no sign of repair. There's no proper maintenance being done at all, Machines are broken, missing parts, and some don't even turn on. You end up wasting time walking around just trying to find one that actually works. The floors are dirty, lint and trash are everywhere, and management clearly doesn't care about upkeep or customer experience. For the prices they charge, you'd expect working machines and a clean environment, but this place feels neglected and forgotten. I honestly wouldn't recommend this laundromat unless it's an absolute last resort. It needs a major cleanup, maintenance overhaul, and better management. read more

I do appreciate having something so close when the laundry room in the apartment complex (only three washers and three dryers for dozens of residents) is fully occupied and dysfunctional. My biggest need has been the dryers and they've been more consistent than the ones in my parking garage. I do have to run my loads a couple of times to dry my clothes fully, but I'm technically wasting less money here, vs feeding funds and prayers to the machines below me. Operationally, it seems you might run into a couple of problems if you need the attendants' help beyond assisting with the basic functions of the facility. Haha, all staff members should know the WiFi code. A little crazy you have to wait for the knowledgeable staff to show or hope they're working the place when you happen to be there, too. Still, it's nice to camp here for around an hour and checkout from everything else with a book you're trying to finish. So the Oaks Laundry mostly wins for now. read more

This is our favorite laundry center! Cynthia keeps this place clean and inviting. The washers are always cleaned and reset before each person starts. Cynthia was kind, patient and friendly. She was also sweeping and cleaning the entire time we were there! We were here a couple weeks ago and it was dirty and unkept. Today total opposite! Today it was clean, sanitized and lovely! The Oaks is our go-to laundromat. We checked out a nearby coin-op that was supposedly cheaper, but it was coin-only, had bad parking, and looked too crowded--so we left and came back here. While there is parking in the back, it can get tight due to nearby businesses--just something to keep in mind. Got to the laundromat at 8:50pm with 3 loads of clothes to wash, and an attendant is present "working". We're already rushing to start the washers because we know we're running against the clock considering the laundromat closing at 10pm. We put in $25 into a prepaid card, throw in our clothes with detergent, but the machines aren't starting. When we ask why it isn't working, the attendant tells us the owner recently put a time restriction on each machine that prevents loads starting at 9pm. (1) Signs should be present notifying customers of this so they won't waste their time, money and detergent, but (2) the attendant should have been available to notify incoming customers of this. We had to remove our clothes bc apparently the restriction can't be bypassed. Bummer of a night. Go to Happy Bubbles in NoHo instead. read more

I've been coming to this laundromat regularly and, for the most part, the place is clean, and the machines work fine. However, I've had repeated uncomfortable experiences with one of the attendants that make me seriously consider taking my business elsewhere. On multiple occasions, he's come across as territorial and unwelcoming. Most recently, I was told not to use the folding table near him because he didn't want "anyone messing up" what he had just cleaned. Instead of escalating things, I simply told him I'd only be folding for ten minutes and then I'd leave. He reluctantly agreed but hovered and checked in exactly at the 10-minute mark as if I couldn't be trusted. I was literally walking out as he checked, and I had even taken the time to neatly return and organize all the laundry carts -- something I didn't have to do. This wasn't the first time he made me feel unwelcome. There's a pattern of passive-aggressive behavior that really detracts from an otherwise decent facility. I understand staff take pride in keeping things clean, but there's a better way to communicate with paying customers without coming off rude or overbearing. I'm writing this in hopes that management takes note. Customers deserve to feel comfortable doing something as basic as laundry -- not like they're being micromanaged or a burden just for being there. Horrible laundry facility Cynthia is a horrible employee who lost my three pairs of Alo workout pants she's bleached and stained all my white sheets and pillowcases. She hangs up in my face and I am the customer I spent a couple hundred dollars there a month. I am appalled by her behavior as an employee, and I am shocked that the owner of this facility still has this woman working there I would never bring my clothes to this place. This place used to be good. I have been using their fluff and fold service for over 10 years, but they have become just horrible lately. 2 weeks ago, I got the call that my clothes were ready to be picked up. I went in around 8pm, but there was no worker in sight. Myself and another lady waited over 10 minutes hoping someone was maybe on a break, and would come back. No one did. I went back again at 930. The doors were already locked. I saw the worker, knocked, and showed I was there for pick up. He just yelled, "we're closed". They are supposed to be open until 10. Had to go back again next day (3rd time) to finally get my clothes!! Tonight, tried to drop off clothes. 845 pm. Again, no worker anywhere. So disappointing that they have gone downhill read more

Horrible places not what it used to be. It's nasty. It smells floors are very dirty. Machines are halfway cleaned not all of them work. I don't know if they even wash my clothes fully because half of it is wet half isn't. AC does not work at all. People come in to complain about their clothes, not being washed. read more

This Laundry Center is the Cleanest in the valley. The machines are always clean and free of smell, the staff keeps this place clean, and the machines are disinfected throughout the day. Thier washing machines offer "OZONE" option, which is great for my sheets and towels, they are super clean and last longer at home free of smell for weeks. If he's not happy he shouldn't be taking his anger on the employees who are just there to do their job and assist the customers, and if he doesn't like it he can go somewhere else. When people are done with a machine she checks to make sure it's emptied out and ready for the next person. I've seen a lot of other places and they have a moldy smell in some of their machines and residue from soap etc left inside but not here! Fine laundromat with a good amount of parking in the back. Unless you're a regular here, it can be pricey, as all of the machines only accept their laundry card, which is free and can be refilled with money, but each top-up requires a minimum $10 deposit, so if you're only dropping by to do a couple of loads of laundry, you'll have to pay at least $10. They have free wifi, which is a nice perk, but the sign is hard to find, and I had to ask the attendant working there, who was pretty rude and didn't seem to care much. Honestly it's a laundromat so I don't expect top-notch customer service, but it did put me off a bit. The larger washers displayed their prices (I believe around $6-7), but the smaller washer that I used didn't, which was a bit annoying, as I didn't know how much money I'd need. All of the dryers were $0.50 for 12 minutes, which seemed like a pretty good deal. Overall, it has some good amenities like parking and free wifi and in general is fairly clean. I might come back again if I lived closer by or if I couldn't find any other place that was cheaper, but otherwise, not. read more

After speaking to Alex, the owner, about his raising the prices THREE times in the last 6 months, I foolishly come back here to discover 2 things. #1 his longtime 11 year employee has resigned because he doesn't treat his employees with respect...likes to curse at them and #2 he is charging extra on the machines if you use hot water. This is a great place to do your laundry. Drying is only 75 cents, the machines are clean, and the guy working nights on Sunday is helpful and friendly. I come later in the day when it's not so busy and there aren't too many weird, crazy people lol. I will try their washing services and update the post. Live in the area and just started going here a few months ago, it's definitely not the cleanest laundry place but also not the dirtiest. There are def more pros than cons, The cons is that the minimum to load your card is $10 and the prices on the machines are crazy! $10 for the bigger machines and $6 for the smaller ones and the dryers are only 75 cents. When I started going there was workers cleaning around the machines and the floor, however as of the summer their focus is not on cleaning and you can see the changes there was a hiring sign on the window not long ago so I am sure the owner has labor shortage which has made the tasks to focus on doing customers laundry. Hopefully the owner sees this and makes changes to keep their monicker of the cleanest laundry facility its not bad but its better than the rest of the laundry facilities in the valley. read more

The way this place works is you get a special laundry card and add money to it - it's $10 minimum if you're using your credit card to add money. So keep your laundry card for next time.
