I totally recommend. I haven't been to a laundry mat in years. While getting our washing machine fixed I looked up "Best Laundry Mats" in the area and this popped up. It was not super crowded, clean machines and nice staff that helped. Even the customers helped if I had a couple questions. It. Was. CLEAN! Now, was it totally totally brand new spotless??? No, but neither is my place. I'm just use to my mess lol. Trust me, for an in and out process it was worth it. I spend about $20 on 5 loads. I used the mid rage silver washers for $3.25 a load. If you have bigger heavy duty stuff go for the $5.25 loads They have vending machines in case you want a snack. Ooooo! Also the mini mall has a taco place with good food too! read more

I've been to my fair share of laundromats - Sparkles Laundry gets the job done with no-frills. Depending on time of day, parking can get mission impossible (not to mention the availability of the machines) so remember that the early bird gets the worm! I've been going to Sparkles Laundry for a while and it's one of the best laundromats I've ever been here in the valley! Laundromats aren't usually high on anyone's list of fun places to be, but this one made the chore a little less dreadful. First off, the place is super clean. Like, spotless. You can tell the owners really care about keeping it tidy and the staff are welcoming. The machines are in great condition. I rarely seen one out of commission. They have a mix of regular and oversized machines, so you can handle everything from your weekly load to that massive comforter that's been sitting in your closet for way too long. My only gripes are that they raised the amount of the old-fashioned spin cycle white washers from $2.50 to $3.50 (depending on the temperature of the water) and it's sometimes hard to find parking in their small lot. read more

Patricia provides excellent customer service to me and all the customers and is always very helpful, courteous, knowledgeable, patient, efficient and a very hard worker here at the laundromat. Everything is very clean and looks immaculate. I enjoy coming to this laundromat because of the outstanding customer service Patricia provides to everyone. This is still my go to launder mat however there are two main issues: the prices have gotten excessively high and the machines are frequently out of order. The staff continues to be friendly and helpful. This launder mat still cleaner than most others I've been to. I'm sticking around for now. read more

So I just came here to do my laundry and the big heavy set white guy told me he had to see the laundry before I can get any coins. I completely understand that so I went to go get it out my car. I went back inside to show him I have laundry. As I was about to get coins, Then he told me I couldn't get coins until he seen me put my laundry in the washer physically? Then I can get coins. I have never felt so embarrassed. I was the only female in there. I never herd of this before. Then he told me "thats how they run things". In a rude tone. I started to feel uncomfortable. Once things started to get weird I just left. I'm not one to start anything. But I have been to laundry mats and never have I have an employee tell me so much before I even get to put my laundry in the washer. Sometime it's just better to walk away and go somewhere else. The sad part is that he kept on saying God bless you. If he was a man of God he would have done things differently then to be rude and make me feel uncomfortable. Ladies go somewhere else. Well should I start off... when i went in to wash my first impression was how dirty it was... It felt filthy just being there, where was the attendant? Well she was talking about personal issues and laughing with another customer, her name was Janette i believe . She did not seem to care for any sort of customer service or maintenance. I asked for help because the machine was not accepting my quarters and the look the she gave me was unsettling to say the least. All the people around me saw how she reacted, and the regulars that always are there tell me that not only does she have any regard to her job what she is supposed to do, but she starts talking smack about the other employees that work there. To me that is something that the owner has to take charge off. Why will you want someone that is lazy, that doesn't take they're job seriously, and that gossips the most horrific things about other employees. That is the worst and hopefully she gets fired. Everyone told me that they complain about her and nothing seems to happen. To the manager hopefully you see this and terminate her because that is not the type of image you want to portray to your customers. Overall bad experience, bad presentation and bad worker. From gossiping to having a filthy laundrymat under her supervision, this is unacceptable read more

I honestly more than likely won't be coming here again. It was really pricey.. I couldn't even fit my one load of laundry (which honestly wasn't even that much) into the normalish 2.25 washing machine.. which SUCKED. I ended up paying 6$ for one medium sized washing machine.. I don't even know how much it's going to cost to dry it and I'm not looking forward to finding out. :/ 2 stars for being super clean and having a lot of machines though! read more

I've been coming here since May of this year. I live quite close and my apt laundry requires coins. I use this laundry mat multiple times a month to get my coins and I occasionally wash my bulky items here. Today while I was getting my coins a man walks up to me and asks if I'm washing laundry here today. I say no and he proceeds to say then I can't get coins because it's only for customers and I can't just come in there and get coins that's what a bank is for. Now I understand why this is, because the owners of the laundry mat will run out of coins then have to go to the bank to get more. I completely understand this, but I try to explain to this man that claims to be the owner that I come here often and get my coins. So if this was a big issue why hasn't anyone told me anything in the past 7 months I've been coming here? He says he has cameras, but if you have cameras why haven't you seen me not one time in the past 7 months I've been coming here? Odd. He proceeds to call me a Karen, which is racist because I'm Mexican btw (even tho I look really pale). He kept cutting me off when I was trying to talk so I gave up and left. I don't understand what this guys problem is, I've been coming here for months and the bigger lady who cleans has seen me before and has never told me anything. Great laundry mat. My washer/dryer took a crap about 7 months ago cause it was really old so i tried most of all the laundry mats in the area and they are suck. No Wi-Fi, shaddy people, dirty area ETC and my aunt comes here a lot so we came here and enjoy it. We got a new washer/dryer....hooray!!!! No more expensive laundry mats. Flash forward to now...our new washer/dryer took a dump (thank god for warranties) so until we wait a week for the repair guy we get to go back to laundry mats *yippee* So of course we came here and it's still awesome. Why the 4 stars? Cause the parking blows big time and the stupid lady at the bakery at the corner of the complex feels the need to come remind customers as they get out of their car "you only have 30 mins parking or we will tow your car" Shut up bit*h....maybe cause im not Armenian or drive a BMW you decide to bother me. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Like the other reviews state, this is the best one in the valley. As soon as I walked in everything felt clean; the walls, floors, machines! I was greeted by the gentleman who works here, very nice man. The machines look like they are well maintained and cleaned consistently. They even have the old school arcade games which I use to love as a kid and made washing here very comforting. Definitely coming back here! read more

I've seen this laundromat many times in passing, but the shopping center is small so I steered clear assuming parking would be bad. I needed to prep for a trip and called to request same day fluff and fold on a Sunday and Sparkles Laundry was able to accommodate. Their service price was fair and their facility was clean. Parking didn't seem to be an issue. I will definitely be returning. read more

Reviews from 7months ago are the same today: Very clean, organized and plenty of washers/dryers & tables to fold clothes. It's coin laundry, they have two snack machines and a beverage machine. Bathrooms are coin-free. The attendant was friendly; plenty of carts, as well. I came here on a Sunday afternoon, and because there was no a/c or fans , I'll give it 4 stars. Perhaps they'll turn on the a/c when it gets warmer. Anyway, coming back. I love how it wasn't packed with people. read more

Probably one of the cleanest laundromats I've been to. Our dryer crapped out and this was nearby and had good reviews. Washing is a little pricey and can add up but you get what you pay for! I'd rather pay a little extra to wash in a clean and comfortable space. Would definitely recommend this place! read more

Fluff and fold is fast and decently priced. Owner is friendly and they even put my collared shirts on hangars.

I've been coming to this laundry mat lately and as soon as I stepped inside it was a lot better than my old one. The cost of the washing machines are fairly reasonably and the drying machines are great. They also have carts to take your clothes inside the laundromat and vice versa. Hi, i been at many laundry places in the valley, sherman oaks, valley village, north hollywood, encino, studio city, reseda, tarzana, and van nuys. I usualy like to change spote dont like routine. This weekend i look into sparkels and BOY!! I AM GLAD I DID !! ITS THE CLEANEST LAUNDRY PLACE I EVER BEEN IN THE LAST 10 YEARS THAT I BEEN LIVING IN THE VALLEY, AND THE PRICE OF THE WASH AND DRYER IS VERY GOOD CONSIDERING THE SERVICE I GET.. I BEEN AT P'LACES THAT ARE VERY COSTLY AND THE MACHINES ARE OLD OR DIRTY. THIS PLACE IS THE BEST DEAL IN TOWN!!! Also the owner is a people persone she is super nice. She set up the place in such a way to make a day at the laundry place a little comfortable with many little stool chairs bench. This is by far my favorite laundromat. I have had my share of bad experiences with laundromat's, from rude attendants, no hot water, and the very worst which is dirty washing machines. The apartment complex I live at has a washer / dryer, but it is not up to my standards of cleanliness. If you are in search of a clean laundromat, with a friendly owner, look no further! So I tried going there once while it was under different management and I did not like it at all. the attendant that used to be there was rude and the machines would always be broken. so it was my second option when choosing a laundromat, but ever since this place got a new owner about a year ago this is my go to place. This new owner fixed and got new machines and much more pleasant attendants. you could really see the improvement. There's new machines that are always working and when one isn't they are quick to fix the problem. the attendants are always friendly and even help me load to the car when I go alone. Also, this owner is usually there so she can help with any concerns. The neatest thing is that she kept the same pricing even though it's improved so much since the previous management. read more
