I brought my coat in for dry cleaning and paid a $35 fee before the coat was examined. When I unwrapped it up, it was still visibly dirty in multiple places. When I asked why, I was told the stains were "permanent damage." Had the stains truly been permanent, I would have accepted that explanation. However, as I was leaving the cleaners, I noticed another stain that appeared as though it could be easily removed. Out of curiosity, I rubbed it and it came off immediately. I returned to the cleaners to ask how the coat had been cleaned and to better understand their process. During that conversation, I used their hand sanitizer on another stained area, and the residue came right off without issue. I was then informed that the cleaners do not use harsh chemicals and instead rely on an oil-based cleaning solution. The concern is that the area they labeled as "permanent damage" was quite large. When I returned to my car, I applied a small amount of raw shea butter oil to that same area, and the residue " permanent damage" came off completely. Given that the stains were removable with minimal effort. I am unclear what cleaning process was performed on my coat. What exactly did they do? I had literally found the coat in the process of moving and had a bright idea to take it to the cleaners. I did not attempt to clean the coat myself prior to taking it into the cleaners but it states hand wash only on the tag. I guess that's what I get for being lazy. Nonetheless this was a complete waste of money. Material: Black Polyurethane and Polyester. read more

The staff is incredibly detail-oriented. I was worried my white sundress would never have life in it again after spilling a glass of red wine on it. Veronica is extremely rude. After waiting 10 minutes two people assisting one person, she was constantly jumping into the conversation with the customer. After 10 minutes of waiting I asked would someone assist me? She said no, we are working. The gentleman being assisted brought a jacket in, he was asking what he is paying for $40 dollars. For 10 minutes they didn't know what he was paying for or what work was done on the jacket, then Veronica said If you don't like it then we will have to undo what we did, meanwhile they don't know what they even did! Then finally after 15 minutes I get my items. The didn't properly hang my clothes, my top fell off of the hanger and fell through the bag on the dirty floor. Poor customer service even worse services! How do you not properly secure items on hanger for it to not fall! Do not come here save yourself a headache and over priced service. read more

To walk in and see the flights of moving clothes racks and classy designs (including a cute popcorn machine!!) made me feel like a kid with awe and wonder. Quality is lovely. You can tell they deal with high end clients with how professional everything looks. All the fun family touches and pics of the legendary Ariana Basseri Fee made the whole experience a chef's kiss. 2-time customer, generally bring semi-formal and formal wear (thing business dress shirts, sweaters, etc.). Customer service shines and the staff is very nice. The 3 stars is mostly due to how expensive the service itself costs. I was surprised when my recent order of TWO items (1 sweater and 1 pants I think) came out to ~$31. I also did notice that 2 of my button down shirts from my previous service were irreparably damaged on the collar, though too late since I only caught the damage when I broke my shirts out for some work travel a few weeks after I had my shirts cleaned. At first I was ok paying the super high prices for proper cleaning of expensive garments. But they got lazy and started damaging items and then denying any fault. Get this: apparently it's somehow "normal" for buttons on Gucci and Ferragamo shirts to break and they're "not responsible" for that. really? then wtf am I paying you the high prices for? They damaged a button on high price polo shirt and that was the last straw for me. nothing unusual, just a cotton polo with plastic buttons. To try to rectify the issue, after first insisting it's not their fault, they offered replacement buttons that looked different than original. Clearly these people don't understand that that can make an expensive shirt look "fake" which defeats the purpose of buying designer clothes. Icing on the cake was that the shirt wasn't even cleaned properly. I looked inside and it had nasty pet hair all over the inside. Good thing I checked. the guy at the counter called it lint, but it was nasty hair. Alterations are crap too. The lady who does them looks grossly overworked and miserable. Probably because the owners line their own pockets with money instead of having competent staff. Avoid this place and save money by going elsewhere. owners clearly direct staff to "deny deny deny" which tells you what you need to know. All the bad reviews are true and you will encounter bad service and damaged clothes sooner or later. read more

As you enter from the free parking in the back, a sign on the door says, "If you are unemployed and in need of a clean outfit for an interview we will clean it at no charge." That says everything about the people who run this business. Parking is easy. The shop is exceptionally clean, well-run and covid-careful. The employees are nice and efficient. The zipper on my sofa cushion broke. I called, they answered the phone promptly and said they could fix it. I took it in, they gave me a very *reasonable* estimate on the spot and it was fixed--perfectly--when they said it would be done. It's rare to find a business this well run, by truly caring people. It saddens me a bit to write this review because I've enjoyed my experience at Steamer Cleaners for a couple of years now. I used to go to another dry cleaner in the area but stopped after they were so inconsistent with the timing of your order being ready for pickup. So this place was a nice change. All in all they do a great job, don't get me wrong. What baffled me was the pricing. I bought a handful of new dress shirts and consistently was being charged upwards of $60-70 dollars to have them laundered. I kept getting told that the reason was that they had to dry clean them because of the fabric type. Polyester, rayon, cotton blends. I did my own research and found that wasn't the case--and finally tried a new dry cleaner that laundered all but one of my shirts, for quite literally 75% of the cost, because quite frankly I don't need my dress shirts dry cleaned, just laundered. That's always been the case minus a few exceptions. Steamer Cleaners was a great spot until I found out how much they were overcharging (or overselling), insisting that dry cleaning was necessary when it wasn't. Also, I get that there's inherent risk of shrinking, fading, etc. by laundering vs. dry cleaning, but after 4 visits and a couple hundred dollars later, I could buy quite a few new dress shirts...you get what I mean. read more

We've been here a couple of times in the past couple of weeks. The first time I came because I had to go to a wedding and hadn't worn a suit for a long, long time. The suit had padded shoulders and I was told I had to get rid of them, and they did a really good job for a decent price. After the wedding I took my shirt that I wore in to get cleaned as well as my wife's dress. She was the mother of the bride (her niece with no living mom) so it was a beautiful dress and my wife wanted it cleaned.
