The actual work seems good, however it's hard to objectively say this improved my roof since this was a smaller repair job, not a full roof replacement. Follow up photos from completed work definitely show me that this is an honest business. I am docking 1 star because I found multiple nails scattered in my driveway once the job was completed. If I was not vigilant in checking for this, I'd very likely have popped tires eventually. Site clean up and cleanliness is just as important as the actual work. Docking another star because I was also not informed that the burning smell from the torching would be so strong inside my home. I would have much preferred to step out while the work was completed if I knew how bad this would be. Unbearably strong chemical smell, had to run the a/c and indoor fans for the rest of the afternoon to clear it out. Adrian came out, ran a thorough water test with me watching from inside, and found two active leak points that nobody else had identified. He sealed both on the spot, at a very reasonable price. He came back later to replace tiles that had cracked during other work on the roof. He found a fifth cracked tile I hadn't noticed, replaced it too, confirmed the underlayment underneath was in good shape, and again charged fairly. What stood out most was his honesty. When part of the repair turned out to be stucco work rather than roofing, he told me straight that it wasn't his trade instead of taking the job and doing it badly. He gave me a referral instead. They did additional patching and water proofing we will test to see if this fixes it. I am very appreciative. Capitol Roofing came highly recommended by my realtor. They came to do the roof inspection when we were purchasing a new home, and they found numerous issues with the shingle roof, roof deck, gutter, etc. They were all fixed by Capitol Roofing within a few short weeks of request and signing repair request. They delivered as promised, as well as a few other things my insurance inspector requested. I cannot be more happy with their work. Most homeowners under-appreciate how critical the roof's function is, it literally is a shield that protects all of your belongings from getting wet and grow mold. There is one closet that is damp and growing mold, this should have fixed the root cause!

Then I met Aviv, the owner of Anytime Roofers / Costar Roofing, and he completely put my mind at ease. Aviv was honest, upfront, and transparent from day one. He showed me photos of my roof, explained everything, and even allowed me to go up on the roof myself to see the damage. And WOW... he was right! My roof was in terrible condition. I had three layers of roofing that were 35+ years old! No wonder my shingles were blowing all over the neighborhood every time we had heavy winds. The entire Costar team was fantastic. Wilson supervised the crew onsite and did an excellent job communicating with me. He explained what they were doing and why, and I never felt left in the dark. The workers showed up ready to work every day, and they cleaned up everything at the end of each day. I also LOVE my new roof vents! I can actually tell a difference, and surprisingly, my dryer works even better than it did before. I especially appreciated that the crew was completely comfortable with me going up on the roof while they worked. I like seeing things for myself, and they never made me feel like I was in the way. If I had to mention one negative, it would be the unexpected rain we got one day. The crew didn't have tarps with them and had to make a quick run to Home Depot. I've had my go-to roofer for around a decade but after he started being extremely flakey with me…read moreafter Los Angeles had a few unexpected rainy bouts, I decided I needed to find a new roofing contact who was more reliable. I also needed one urgently because LA was due to very heavy rainfall (the most recent one that started right before Christmas and ended two days ago). I'm very particular whenever I search for a new vendor because I've met with literally hundreds of different contractors/vendors/trade specialists in my lifetime due to renovating multiple properties in different cities. My search strategy might be overkill for some but it pays off for me in the long run - Once a highly rated business has been identified, I cross reference the business using different platforms such as Yelp, Thumbtack, Google, Houzz and Angi. I then further drill down to see how long the business has been around, if they have any complaints with the BBB, and what the least satisfied comments look like. Anytime Roofing was one of a handful of companies I was interested in. I contacted them using Yelp's quote system and I called them as well. Aviv answered my call and told me he could have somebody inspect my roof as early as the next morning and told me he could start on repairs the same day if I agreed to his pricing. This was ideal since the rain was due to start the following afternoon. I also later noticed Aviv responded to me via the Yelp messaging system as well. At 7:30 am the next morning, Aviv's roofer came on time and inspected my concrete tiled roof. I was then contacted by Aviv and given a verbal estimate over the phone. After I agreed to the price, he immediately sent over a written estimate via email for me to review and sign. Half my payment was due before the work started and the other half would be due upon completion. There is a 4% credit card charge if you do not want to pay via cash/Zelle. I needed a minimum of 300 square feet of underlayment replaced and some new wood installed as some of my existing wood was damaged. This was also a rush job since heavy rain was going to start later that day. Aviv mentioned he felt more underlayment should be replaced as he saw extensive damage but told me this could be done later and there should be no leaks with this current repair. The work was completed in roughly 8 hours and there were no leaks to be found after 4 straight days of heavy rain. Aviv also followed up a day after the rain stopped to inquire how my roof held up to the storm which I felt was a nice touch. I highly recommend calling Aviv and Anytime Roofing for a quote whether it's an emergency repair or if you are collecting bids for larger underlayment projects. He may not be the absolute cheapest roofing business you can find but he responds promptly, his roofers are punctual, and the ease and quickness of the estimate process are things you don't typically find with other roofing companies. Reliability and consistency are important factors that I feel deserve a premium as well.

The previous owner had done a lot of patch repairs on the roof himself, so after the rains in 2022/23 and the hurricane this summer, those smaller repairs no longer held and we had a massive leak on our hands. We contacted a few roofing companies, but most were not willing to physically come to our home to look at the leak and give us an estimate. Hexagon was the first company that came out, and Jared showed up promptly, equipped with a ladder and a drone. He spent some time on the roof, took pictures, and walked us through what was going on. As first time home owners, we really appreciated that Jared was willing to take his time and talk us through everything. The issue was felt paper underlayment which was basically crumbling at this point, and the plywood beneath the roofing shingles was exposed and rotting. Jared gave us a few options, gave us a few quotes for those options, and encouraged us to get other quotes before making our decision. Ultimately, we went with Jared and Hexagon because we felt that their price was fair, and they give you a 50 year warrantee for the materials and a 10 year warrantee on the labor, and we appreciated the time and care Jared took with us during our initial inspection. Scheduling the job was a little stop and start, but once we got a time on the books, Jared and his team showed up, and replaced an entire section of our roof in one day. They even went out and got paint to match our house trim so that everything looked perfect, and they installed attic vents (which our attic DESPERATELY needed), that weren't even part of the initial quote. Jared's team took pictures of their work along the way, and while I wish the roofers had been a bit more communicative with us throughout the process (which we told Jared when he came to close out the job), their work was excellent. And the quote was accurate, no extra charges or hidden fees. What's more, we had a small issue with one of our front porch tiles getting cracked in the process of debris coming off the roof, and Jared went above and beyond to make sure the tile was replaced before he would accept final payment for the job. We're planning to have Hexagon and Jared come back to do another section of our roof that's not currently leaking, but has the same felt underlayment. I truly couldn't be happier with the work and customer service, and can't recommend Hexagon highly enough.

Your team back in March of 2025 installed a new pipe flashing and completed a full tear-off, 6x6' around the "hot water" pipe. They said it was the source of the leak! I found water again on the bathroom floor last time it rained back in Feb of 2026. Irlicia contacted me and sceduled the repair on the 27th of Feb between 7:00 AM and 8:00 AM. Guess what, I waited at my house, AGAIN, and no one showed! So they decide to come on the 28th. As I walked out of my house that day I discovered clay tiles nailed to the side of my house. And tiles missing from the top. Correct me if I'm wrong but aren't the tiles suppose to go on top? I ask you again, how is this going to stop any leak? That's the truth! Also, Can you and your office team please stop avoiding my emails. I have been trying to contact you and Wendy these past two weeks. Actually I have been trying to contact Wendy since March of this year. She just recently contacted me because I wrote a Yelp review. Come on Abraham enough is enough! Have your team to fix my roof!
