Service was excellent, thank you Andrew. Salmon was really good, sides were not. Hubby had the jumbalya, he said it was "fine". Shrimp were terrific. I do not recall having to pay for bread before, we did this time and it was good bread. Skipped the desert.

High end Red Lobster is what this really is. If RL had such a place, this is it. We went here for my birthday having high expectations based on reviews on various places, plus a friend from out of town was staying in Chandler. There were some pluses here, but serious minuses. And I learned that the bases of the sauces etc. are pre-made according to our server which is why I could not get garlic removed from the white wine sauce for shrimp scampi, even though I noted it as an allergy. Hey, thanks for helping here. Let's start it off Appetizers I had the six shrimp cocktail. It was very good. Shrimp were delicious, sauce excellent. The spouse and my friend had the crab cake with corn relish and enjoyed it a lot. The mains The spouse had the scallops which were supposed to be pan seared or seared at least. They weren't. A couple were Lukewarm. She mentioned this to the person bringing out the food, who took the plate and came back in short order with them seared. To me they looked a bit overcooked. The spouse had some and didn't finish. My friend had the sea bass with I assume was the buerre blanc one. Yes I misspelled the word. Anyway he loved it. The spouse tried it and she like it. Noting the sauce and crispiness of the way the fish was cooked. Remember the allergy issue? My server showed me what didn't have garlic on the menu as a way I assume to go, pick one of these, options. I did ask if the chef could whip up a sauce without the garlic. A simple request that restaurants of all price points usually do. Not here. I ended up going with the mussels and kbashed the sausage. The mussels were very good. I didn't finish them all, and the broth was good too. There was a seasoning in there that seemed like an allspice. Regardless it was nice. Now you are thinking what about the bread that it usually comes with? Seems that isn't a standard but she said they could provide one piece of grilled sourdough or another sourdough loaf. The loaf is six bucks. I'm surprised the server never showed up when the whole scallops issue was taking place. Nor a manager for that matter. In fact I never saw a manager walking around to see how folks are doing, how's the food. Again something very common at restaurants that value their customers. Even RL I assume does this. I can't be certain though. Although I'm very confident they would have whipped up a sauce for me.

The food has really gone down hill since they first opened in S.Chandler over 4 years ago. I knew they wouldn't be able to sustain. Their oysters are frozen and taste like dirt, and are often sandy with bad shell taste. Their sushi is overpriced and just meh. But I kept going for other seafood dishes (in Arizona you are desperate for good seafood). One of the male bartenders is super rude, my daughter (knowing I come here often) even asked what I did to him as he didn't smile at us once serving us at the bar counter. The last time and final time was recently when I ordered their scallops which I've had in the past, I was super disappointed by the quality as they used to have big scallops sautéed with butter. The presentation this time was more scallops at the same price ($46) but they looked like chicken nuggets as they battered them (gross) and put a huge portion of creamed rice on the bottom. The nuggets I mean scallops tasted like bleach I ate half only because of the price and left the rest. The salmon ($36) tasted fishy had hard Brussel sprouts and this sauce over the fish which masked fishyness somewhat. I gave this place many chances and it was my favorite but for the over priced dishes and rude service I will not be back. There are way too many new seafood places such as BucknRider in Gilbert that know what they are doing to patron. High Tide management needs to get better product and adjust the attitude of their staff who seem entitled to 20% tip when the food is horrible for this kind of restaurant. I agree with another reviewer Red Lobster will provide you with a better experience.

The food here is amazing. I ordered a dozen blue point oysters and the Tide Roast steam pot. The steam pot was seasoned to perfection. The oysters were really good as well. If you go during HH you can get the oysters at $2 a piece. The service was great. Our food came out really quickly. I will definitely visit again.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance was wonderful inclusive of the decor, the music, and sunset view.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] This place emanates class. Our waitress, Cody, was exceptional! She oriented us to the menu, ensured our waters were filled, and demonstrated friendly professionalism throughout the evening. I absolutely loved the lobster bisque, its rich, creamy texture and warmth were soothing. The enchiladas were a bit too salty for my taste which is the reason I gave four stars for this review.

Lobster bisque! Do yourself a favor, and order a bowl and not a cup! This bisque is the bomb!

My girlfriend and I met here for Happy Hour and it was okay, not as good as I remember though! I remember the mussels and the lobster bisque knocking me off my feet, but this time they barely moved me! The lobster bisque had the consistency of pudding and the mussels weren't as flavorful as before. I don't like my lobster bisque that thick and I also would have appreciated more lobster chunks! Maybe yall were having an off night? I'll go back, but if it doesn't get better I'm done!

My wife and I have been wanting to try High Tide Steelyard for a while and finally did tonight. When we walked in, we were greeted by a friendly hostess who sat us right away. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant is clean and has a nice atmosphere.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]There is a nice sushi and oyster bar on one side and a full bar on another side with a couple TVs.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The waitress was very nice and helpful with menu suggestions. They have a Crabby Hour with a good selection of food and drink items we will have to come back and try. My wife ordered a cup of clam chowder and we both got the Chilean sea bass with risotto, asparagus and artichoke with lobster beurre blanc. I tried the clam chowder and it was delicious! The flavors of everything on the plate were delicious, the fish was cooked to perfection! The only downside was the risotto wasn't completely cooked so it was somewhat crunchy. All in all, a very satisfying and delicious dinner. We will be back to try other items on the menu.

I was craving some oysters and my friend recommended to try High Tide. The restaurant had a great ambience! We had a party of three and wanted to have a few drinks with some appetizers to snack on a Saturday night. We ordered oysters, fried calamari, ceviche, and braised beef ribs. The oysters was fresh and delicious which satisfied my oyster cravings. Our server Josh gave excellent service! He was very attentive. He made it a very wonderful experience. We would definitely be back! If you are in the area, I would definitely recommend. We will be back to have dinner, since we were only there for drinks and appetizers.

Amazing food and service. Our waitress, Shizuka, was the sweetest and not only helped me sing happy birthday to my husband, but she also sung in Japanese Thank you, HT and Shizuka for a lovely experience. To those of you looking for a tasty bites and a good time, check out Steelyard in Chandler!

Went for Valentine's Day and it was an amazing experience. Everyone from the hostess, to the server, to the staff dropping our food off was very kind and attentive. Food and drinks were absolutely amazing. I got a strawberry mocktail that was super flavorful and I thought very much worth the price. Scallops were amazing.

A Hidden Gem You NEED to Try - Don't Let This Place Stay a Secret!…read moreI've been to Sage & Barrel Craft Eatery a few times now, and every visit leaves me wondering why this place isn't packed every single night. We stopped in on a Monday evening and had the whole vibe almost to ourselves--such a shame because this spot is seriously awesome and deserves a full house! The atmosphere is so vibey--warm, inviting, perfectly lit with that perfect mix of casual and upscale that makes you want to settle in and stay awhile. It feels special without being stuffy, great for date nights, family dinners, or just unwinding with friends over craft beers (their selection is impressive--40+ local options with plenty on tap). But the real star? The food. Everything is scratch-made with fresh, high-quality ingredients, and you can taste the care in every bite. Deeply flavorful, innovative twists on classics, generous portions, and consistently excellent. Whether you go for the Nashville hot chicken and waffles, fish & chips, burgers, or whatever catches your eye, it's all done right. No frozen junk here--just real, delicious food that keeps you coming back. Queen Creek (and the East Valley) needs more places like this. Support local, support quality, and help keep this gem thriving so it doesn't disappear. We'll definitely be back--next time on a busier night so more people can discover it! If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and go. Tell your friends. Mondays (and every night) deserve Sage & Barrel. You won't regret it.
