I found this place on Yelp and I would have to agree with everyone that this place is excellent! I came in on a Sunday and spoke with Pepe. I had a race header installed but needed a midpipe and resonator put together to fit my axleback. I explained to him what I needed and he gave me some advice on what to do. I left my car there overnight and came back the next day to pick up my car. I am really okeased with his work and welding skills. He gave me the exact specs I needed and he made sure my piping didn't hang low. Awesome shop and awesome owner. Pepe will do you right. read more

PEPE is a respectful and honest guy ... cheaper then anyone around and the fastest... if you dont have a mechanic you've just found one...

So I called High Flow Mufflers yesterday1/6/2020 and PePe answered the phone so excited and eager to help! I never did business here but just the way he answered the phone I already knew if he could do the work on my sad little gmc sonoma baby then i would definitely return. I,as a girl, felt very comfortable so I sent my fiance in with the truck. He helped her quickly and with no issues.. Later we returned and he was able to remove the O2 sensor and also let us know there was another issue with the truck that could possibly harm the CAT and with that I was SOLD! My truck may not be the prettiest and being that we use it daily it was a relief to hear the confirmation of what is wrong with my truck. Last thing was the price. I was relieved to hear the low cost of this repair so we tipped them for just being great and not trying to rip 2 girls off. PePe you are truly a kind hearted honest man and thanks again we will be back! read more

I didn't pass my smog test and I repeatedly heard how expensive a catalytic converter would cost. Like $600-1,000. I dreaded getting it fixed, especially after Christmas. Peppe is very professional, worked quickly, and treated me with respect. Peppe did a great job. He was honest too. I paid less for the part and labor than quoted by others. Peppe assured me I would pass my smog, and I didn't need to drive 200 miles like I was told by the Smog people. Yes, he was right! I passed. I strongly recommend everyone to go to High Flow Mufflers in LBC and to see Peppe. He is the best. Thank you Peppe very much! read more

Wow this guy is so honest and so professional!!!! I will be back and send all me friends and family read more

even though i was a little late before closing. Luis and Pepe insisted not to worry and won't let me leave until the invidia catback on my subaru wrx was installed and running. he was completely professional throughout. There were some minor fitment issues related to the invidia manufacturing so they were able to get the job done nearly one hour after closing hours. Both Luis and Pepe stated that they would not let me leave until it was properly installed and running. Hats off to these guys. They've been doing custom work for all kinds of cars from luxuries to exotics and have an excellent professional attitude. read more

Had to get my catalytic converter taken care of so that my check engine light would come off so that I could get my smog check so that I could pay for my car registration. Called at 4:15 p.m., was quoted an honest price over the phone, asked if they could do it at that time, yes. Drove over and was there no later than 4:45. After talking about the particulars, I left the car for them to put up on the lift at 5:00, went to the grocery store down the block and was back by 5:30 and the car was done. Great price, check. Great service, check. Great place! Highly recommend. read more

I got a friend that works for a local aftermarket autoparts company who quoted me a price on a Flowmaster 40. Just the muffler, no installation or anything. Well, I payed the same amount for the Flowmaster 40 AND a nice chrome tip here at Hi Flow. Install was quick and easy and labor was $45. The owner and his son are just a couple of dudes trying to get by, but they do a great job at what they do. I will be coming here again when I change out the muffler on my other ride as well. Thanks fellas! Keep up the great work! read more

Will definitely go back here if I need a muffler service. People are friendly and they take extra care of your car. Jose even polished my muffler. read more

This place is great they work fast and the prices are pretty good I will definitely come back and will recommend to everyone

First met Pepe at AAA Muffler in West Los Angeles when he did a Remus Exhaust on my Mercedes Benz 300E. I was so impressed with his work and honesty, that when I got my CLK55 AMG I knew there was no other place to have my exhaust upgraded. When I called AAA Muffler they told me Pepe was no longer there so I started searching for him. To my surprise he had opened his own shop in Long Beach. Although his new shop was 50 miles away from my home in Northridge, I knew there was nobody else to get the job done. I made that drive and boy am I glad I did. First, it was great to see an old friend, who remembered me from four years ago. Second, he was have the price of AAA Muffler for the same job. He was even honest enough to tell me what I didn't need and advised me to do the upgrade in steps to make sure I didn't go overboard. All I can say is the drive home was magical. I didn't even turn my radio on because I was listening to the purr of my new exhaust system. If you want a job done right.......THERE IS NO OTHER CHOICE!!!!!! read more

Motorcycle Exhaust?? Yeah... I said it... High flow mufflers took on the challenge and hooked me up with a custom over under shot gun set of pipes. Custom built one pipe at a time.. I looked everywhere and called so many places and no one wanted to take on the challenge of custom pipes and I didn't want to buy factory.. So I found High Flow.. Brought in my bike to Pepe and he said he'd take care of me.. And HE DID.. He's a perfectionist.. The shop is super busy and they rarely take on this type (motorcycle) of custom work because it a car muffler shop, but when they do it's incredible.. If you take your bike to see Pepe don't expect an overnight turn around job.. He's proud of his work and it will take him time but it will be worth every bit of it.. And the end result looks fantastic and sounds even better.. Pepe is always ready to take your call and keep you updated on the progress.. Amazing customer service and all around good experience. I truly hope the motorcycle community finds High Flow Mufflers for that custom set.. Thanks Pepe for taking this on and making my ride that much better.. read more

Pepe did a fantastic job on a custom quad-tip catback exhaust system. Pricing was fair and the black paint on all the welds (which were done very well) was a nice touch. Him and his crew are very professional and spent a good amount of time letting me test mufflers to get the sound I wanted before putting it all together. Would highly recommend! read more

Called in the morning to get a quote on a repair on a muffler hanger on my Caprice and he said $10, I was amazed cause that is the cheapest I found. I got off work and went in, surprised that he remembered me from the phone call and within 10 minutes I was out. Pepe even went as far as welding in extra support just in case and still maintained the $10 price. Big thumbs up for these guys. read more

Took my truck here for a replacement catalytic converter. Great service; was in and out in 45 minutes. Good pricing. Only drawback is the size of the shop; only one bay. Other than that, I'll be taking my truck back to Hi-Flow for any future exhaust needs. read more

Pepe and Ralphie are awesome. I was looking for a good mechanic after my father in law retired. They are legit.

Pepe and his crew installed two Flowmaster 40 series on my 2012 Camaro SS and they did a fantastic job! I really appreciated the detail to attention making sure that the exhaust lines up perfectly and is even on both sides. They work fast and efficiently so you won't be waiting long. I was in and out in 1 hour. Also his price can't be beat. If you're looking for a muffler shop or need exhaust work done, look no further than High Flow Mufflers. I'll definitely be going back to finish up my exhaust system. read more
