I'm very particular about sweetness and usually get frustrated when I ask for less sweet and it still comes out sugary. Not here. The barista actually listened, he added 1.5 pumps, had me taste it before I even left, and made sure it was exactly how I wanted it. That level of care is rare and so appreciated. Great coffee, great atmosphere, and top-tier service. I'll definitely be back!

They've been desperately hiring the past few weeks and seem to be sucking at employee retention. You will probably run into a drugged out homeless person while patronizing this business. The inside is charming but in a grunge way. There's potential but it's just not hitting it these days. They didn't have any of their listed non-dairy milk options nor any bread except for naan (and no bread the second day I came). I've gone in often and they've run out of inventory with no timeline of replenishing. I was able to get a B.E.C. sandwich ONCE in the handful of times I've been here. It was decent and fairly priced, but unavailable the following visits I made. At some point I had to have a sandwich made with no bread because they were out. That was my last time there. Most of the baristas appear to hate working here or simply being on the planet lol. My last visit I was looped into an unwarranted political conversation when just trying to grab a coffee. I get that it's near a college campus so EVERYTHING is made unnecessarily political these days unfortunately, but maybe they should coach their folks to not engage unsuspecting customers in these conversations... literally just prioritize the JOB and the BUSINESS and the customer experience. I don't need or want a lecture on how unbearable you think our country is when I'm just trying to get a drink. It's a horrible business practice to assume ~anyone's~ social/political leaning and I hope we as a society can collectively move into a space where we stop normalizing this behavior. Hope they can pull it together because in theory it is a neighborhood asset. But currently? No bueno.

Overall, it's a great spot to visit if you're in Atlanta and looking for high-quality baked goods and a good cup of coffee.

I saw this on IG and while in Atlanta (this is only in GA), I just had to, HAD TO stop by and pick up that blue puffy mousse dessert, Berry Surprise. My husband was questioning why I would spend money on it because it was so small but he let me be. I think it was around $8? I took a bite and it had a soft consistency. I was actually expecting it to be hard on the outside (like chocolate), but I was also delighted with this. It has a sweet, tangy flavor. My husband took a bite and hated it. More for me! He got a small green tea sponge cake ($8) that we ate while on the road. Not too sweet, which is what he prefers. It was good too!

The café seemed to offer a variety of pastries such as a ginger cookie- they also offer scones, and mini cheese quiche. However, parking is extremely limited and difficult to find in this old fourth ward neighborhood unless you utilize paid parking. The ice orange Blossom latte was quickly made, but did not have a distinct flavor or taste-it tasted like a regular latte. A great coffee shop if you are in the neighborhood but not one I would travel to in order to explore and tryout. They do have really cute apparel and a few housewares such as mugs and coffee brewers.

The latte was ok but the cake was phenomenal. The latte had a decent flavor but it wasn't strong. Plus it tasted very grainy and milk-heavy, overpowering the coffee. My slice of cake was so moist and delicious without being too sweet. It was perfect. I'd definitely come back again more so for the desserts than the coffee. I decided to try one of their seasonal flavors and ordered the 12oz Iced Pumpkin Pie Latte for $6.10, adding oat milk for an extra $1. I went on a Friday morning, and the restaurant was moderately busy there were spaces open, however, it was still active, and there were a few full tables and people having conversations. They had anime and various other things playing on the televisions throughout. I went in for simply a pastry and specifically to try out the apple pie Matcha. I will say it did not disappoint. One thing I always love when I'm getting a Matcha is stellar presentation and it met that. With the piping of the cinnamon cold cold foam, to the apple crisp and caramel on top, it looked beautiful, and I was happy to enjoy it! This had a great balance between the whole milk, and the amount of Matcha you can see it is a nice dark green color It also wasn't too sweet, and I felt I was getting apple pie from the drink through the hint of spices in there, along with the garnish. I was able to secure a table against the wall for two by myself to take a quick snapshot of my tray and try out my drink before leaving. I also got a caramelized onion croissant with Gruyère cheese. These were both strong flavors, that worked well together. I do wish I could've gotten heated, but maybe that's something you have to do upon request. Overall, I can't wait to go back and try some of the other items, and dine at the restaurant in the future, looking forward to the next seasonal drink! ** be sure to park in the lot next-door, to have it validated inside!**
