My husband and I eat at Hideaway Pizza at 103 and Memorial weekly. We tip at 20%. we are easy customers to deal with. I LOVE God's Pizza (Pizza of the Gods). No more. We were there tonight with a friend. I was drinking a 2nd glass of wine when I noticed a small swimming object in my glass. Looked like a fruit fly. I flagged down our server and quietly told him about it and he looked in the glass and there was that little guy just swimming away. Server was horrified. "We won't charge you for the replacement, we are so sorry." "No problem. Just a little extra protein". I didn't cause a scene. I was very quiet. These things happen (although during the 4 months I was stuck in a wheelchair I watched at least 100 episodes of Bar Rescue. If there are fruit flies in a glass, there are fruit flies in other areas as well. Just letting you know to keep an eye out). Check comes, and they charged me for 2nd glass of wine. A whole $7.00. I quietly pointed this out to our server and he went back to the bar. "Our manager says since you drank 1/2 the glass of wine, we are going to charge you for the 2nd glass." I DIDN'T ask for a free glass. It was offered to me because of the fruit fly. Like I am going to sit there knowingly and drink a glass of anything with a FLY swimming around in it. Told the server that we would not be returning to this location or any other Hideaway Pizza again. I tipped the server 20% because it wasn't his fault the manager is a cheap skate. Having owned a business, I know that a happy customer will tell 2 or 3 people. An unhappy customer will tell 10 (now with the internet those numbers don't really work anymore). I have given away a free month of exercise classes ($59) before, if we have made an error. That is good business. If you screw up, you make it up to the customer. HIDEAWAY lost 2 regular customers who ordered an appetizer and large pizza each week, over a $7 glass of fly infested wine. Let the drinkers beware.............. Went this last Friday night. They were not on a wait. When I did get seated it took the waiter about 5 minutes to get to my table for my drink order. Then we waited another five minutes for our drinks. We ordered an appetizer and when they brought out the ranch for our fried mushrooms, there was an eyelash floating in the top of my ranch dressing. The mushrooms were mostly in clumps as if they had not individually battered them first. The pizza was good as always. No manager ever visited our table even though one walked right by us. read more

This place has some real good pizza. The cheese for me is what makes the pizza taste really delicious as the cheese taste is pretty rich. The only problem I have with this place is the service. The service is either really good, or really bad. But otherwise, this place is a pretty decent pizza place to be going to. read more

The food was really good. We ordered Da Bomb pizza and loved the flavor. My complaint is that when I called and ordered, they told me it would be an hour. I got there in advance, and they came and took my payment and told me it would be right out. I probably waited for another 20 minutes for the pizza, 10 minutes past when it was due to arrive. The pizza did not feel hot, and I had a 30 minute drive to my home. I asked the person who brought it to me if it had been sitting for awhile. He told me "no," that the pizza was delivered "fresh and hot." It felt like it had been out of the oven for a period of time. Had I arrived late, I would have understood this. But I was waiting for a significant period of time. I had to reheat it when I got home because it was not hot at all. Again, the pizza was very good! I'm disappointed by the wait time, though, and the lack of communication or understanding of my complaint when it was finally brought out to me. read more

This location is AWFUL! Worst service I have ever seen. I would comment on the food had it ever come! 45 min sitting and NO food!! Employees standing around socializing over working... I eat at this location a lot. I grew up in Stillwater so it's nice having a Hideaway nearby. Pizza tastes as I remember from my Stillwater days but one of the difference is the crust. It seems a little 'lighter', and flakey. I think it's due that the pizza is cooked on a conveyer belt oven as opposed to a regular pizza oven. But the pizza still tastes great! My wife now needs a gluten-free crust option so we tried theirs, but she was disappointed. I could tell just by looking at it that it wasn't any good. The crust was overcooked. It looked like a brown, warped freebie with toppings. That's why I took off a star. read more

I have eaten at the Stillwater location numerous times. Mainly order the Big Country. I ordered it at this Tulsa location and it doesn't hold a candle to Stillwater. I think Stillwater needs to show them how to make the Big Country. Pick up service was good. Overall pizza was good but not what I was expecting from a Hideway. read more

The toppings were plentiful, sauce flavorful, and the crust nice and chewy. They also offer a thin crust option for the crazies who like their pizza to taste like it's on a cracker. (Hand-tossed is NOT dough overload like deep dish/Chicago pizza.) Kids info- they offer balloons to kids with their choice of colors, and are willing to tine out the wailing hysterics of kids who don't see their color choice. They'll gladly fetch a fresh ballon in the requested hue, so no need for the precious ankle-buyers to fret a second longer. Yuck. We've had Hideaway Pizza 3x (with friends and neighbors), and I can't believe that so many Tulsan's like this stuff. I am a bit of a pizza snob after eating in Brooklyn pizzerias for 15 years of my life...this stuff is just cardboard and no better than Dominos or Pizza Hut. It's on par with frozen grocery store pizza. Yuck, just yuck. The crust is thick and bready, not chewy as it should be. It's flavorless. The sauce tastes canned. The cheese is stingy. The pizzas are over baked. I would never buy this pizza myself. So far the best Tulsa pizza options I have found are NYC Pizza on Harvard (GREAT, just tell them to take it easy on the Oregano), and Uncle Vinny's on 71st street (a close second). read more

I've eaten here several times and the quality of the food is excellent. One time I was waiting on a carry out order and it took longer than it should have, but the manager gave me a 5 dollar gift card, offered me a drink and apologized for my wait. Hideaway Pizza fan back to Stillwater days. That said, I had just about given up on the south Tulsa location. Quality was lacking and after 4-5 bad experiences we were moving on. Then they moved and somehow they are great again. Don't know if it's new ovens or a change in staff or what but, consistently good. This place has the best gluten free pizza in Tulsa! It's thin, crispy crust hits the spot whenever I need to satisfy an urge for Italian. Food. I love the variety of toppings they offer and the service is always fast and friendly. Their hand tossed pizza is also excellent if you have a more doughy desire.
