What a fun little coffee shop! They have a pretty unique coffee menu, as well as some great options for non-caffeinated beverages. The women running this place are super friendly and love to educate folks on the different options that they have in store. The hours they are open, can be a little iffy, but definitely give them a try if they're open and you're driving pass and want a good copy from some locals! The marshmallow topping is super fun! They offer a decent amount of sugar-free flavors and they have alternative milk options. You can get pretty much anything hot, iced or blended. This is definitely going to become a regular on my rotation of places to meet up with friends. The space isn't very big, so if you are wanting to have a group of folks meet for coffee, it may not be the best option. If you are meeting just a handful of people or one on one, it's a great space. They do have Wi-Fi available, so add this to your studying/remote work list of coffee shops to try! read more

I have been dying to go here but they have hours that aren't real conducive to my schedule. :( Finally dropped in on a Saturday afternoon. I LOVE this place! Staff was super friendly and helpful and seem really glad you stopped in. There's a lot to choose from so I just tried the Piledriver with "toasted fluff inside the cup." They told me that they make their drinks not as sweet as some. That is totally true but you won't miss any sugariness especially if you get the fluff! (They also have other options like an espresso whip.) Truly unique place. It's small but the interior will just make you smile! Make time to check it out! read more

I popped in to Luchador Coffee for some much needed caffeine, while I was tackling my weekend errands in Tulsa. What a wonderful little coffee shop! There were several occupied tables and a short line to order, but the staff were so kind and helpful to everyone. I ordered an iced dulce de leche latte. It was so good! I'm excited we have another Mexican coffeehouse in town. Their grand opening is on Sat. July 19, but I was able to check it out this week during their soft opening hours (M-F 8am-2pm & Sat 9:30-4:30pm.). It is located on an intersection I generally avoid, but I'll have to make an exception to visit them. It is across Dr. Zoellner's on Memorial and across from HuHot. I was surprised by how packed their small space was considering it was their soft opening. They only have a few tables inside, so it doesn't take much for it to feel cramped. The luchador (Mexican wrestling) theme, known for their colorful masks and dramatic personalities, is super fun. They fully lean into it with murals on the walls, fun toys as decor, and even a merch corner where you can get your own mask! The service provided by the mom and daughter duo was extremely friendly. They acknowledged everyone that came in and apologized for the wait. Their menu has a lot of options from traditional brews and lattes to non caffeinated options like lemonade and sugar free Jamaica. Their Mexican style options include cafe de olla (traditional spiced coffee with piloncillo-unrefined sugar), horchata and mazapán latte, among others. They also have specialty options like the cocoloco and minty misterio. I went with the matcha since I didn't want too much caffeine in the middle of the day. I wish they didn't use an already sweetened mix, so I could've add a bit of horchata. I find that pre-sweetened mixes mask the matcha taste too much. I also tried their cajeta churro, which was a good combo. Their oven isn't up and running yet, so I couldn't try their concha ice cream sandwich, but you better believe I'll be back once they start offering it. The pictures look amazing. read more

Cool New Mexican coffee shop that you need to check out! I unexpectedly ended up at their grand opening, and even though they were busy, the customer service was excellent! The lady at the register made sure we felt truly welcomed. We all tried different drinks, and each one was delightful. I especially appreciated that I could still taste the espresso, even in the sweeter options. And the churros--can't forget those! They were served hot and fresh, the perfect pairing with our coffee. The baristas were actually helpful and let us try things/gave thorough recommendations during our first visit. We didn't feel rushed to make a decision like we do at some coffee shops. Delicious, unique, addictive!! Super good drinks here. I mean the in-house toasted marshmallow should give that away the second you see an image of the drinks they bust out! Out of the box - edgy and fun. The staff is extremely nice and if you're near there and do not know the menu...they will work with you to create the perfect drink personalized for you and your taste buds. We have Mexican chocolate, white chocolate so many choices. The logo is super cute. The eyes of the little guy in the mask are mugs. I love the uniqueness and thought that went into this place. I'm not even sure where to start...this place is AMAZING!! One of our all-time favorite family movies is Nacho Libre (Jack Black) and this cute little coffee shop feels like you're in their fan club!! We ordered two Hurarana and added marshmallow fluff. Blown away is an understatement! So yummy ! The horchata milk inside, adds a nice light spice and to top it off the marshmallow fluff, was torched. In addition the two ladies up front were very friendly and explained the menu to us because it was our first time. 10/10 Can't wait to come back and try more. And the jalapeno scones was shockingly good and it was even gluten free. It was more similar to a shortbread in texture, which I preferred over a scone actually. Very buttery and tasty, not spicy if you're sensitive to that. It was $17 for these items, so higher than expected, but spot on for unparalleled quality. Friendly service, and very fast. Can't wait to go back, this place is just doing everything right.

The 1st 2 times I had the steak and my husband had the ham sandwich (I know... he's a sandwich man... but it's seriously good). Last night I took 2 of my girlfriends for dessert. One is gluten free so we got the lava cake. Kale, who was my waiter for our 1st visit, was our waiter again. He remembered my name and my husband's name! He also remembered me asking about a GF menu for my friend. He is so warm and inviting and kind-- I'm not sure Rise knows how lucky they are to have him! If I didn't like the food, I might still go based on service and atmosphere alone. But let me tell you.... The food is divine. Kale genuinely cares that people have a stand-out impression of the place. And we all did! My friends are both so excited to go back and now understand why I keep raving about it! Be back soon!
