Raspberry key lime mousse

Chef Freda is dynamite. Highly recommend the Shrimp bisque, hogfish, & raspberry key lime mousse. Johnathan took great care of us.

Great view great staff. The fish de jour hog fish was amazing. It's a little hard to find guess why that's called hideaway. A must try if you are in the area.

Really delicious spot and definitely hidden away on the 2nd floor of a beachside motel. Follow the signs and get to this place! The garlic bread and tomatoes was a nice starter. The Caesar salad was nice too, and very very good croutons. My boo got the fish du jour which was hogfish this day. The sides were a dill mashed potatoes and carrots in a sweet glaze. I had the Seafood medley in a Florida sauce which was like a yummier vodka sauce. The scallops, the shrimp, the fish of the day was so fresh and lovely in the medley. It's a big portion too, so I shared the pasta with my boo who doesn't like dill so the mashed potatoes were not a hit for him. I liked the mashed potatoes tho! Service was very attentive, and so kind. The beach is a pretty spot, this restaurant is really lovely.

Fish en papillote

Chef Frieda has a good thing going in this small charming restaurant with killer views and delicious French inspired fare. She's Caribbean, British and lived in Ohio making her dreams come true in the Keys. She was the hostess, server and likely in then kitchen at some point during our visit. We enjoyed the fish en papillote, the coq au vin and hogfish. All very delicious. It may not be the prettiest presentation or the fanciest dining room but the flavors, perfectly cooked dishes, attentive service and wonderful views makes this place a must visit them and again. A few improvements to the dining room, a little beautification here and there can make this place truly magical.

Catch of the day with shrimp and scallops. (Hog fish) yummy!!!!

This is a place totally hidden within grassy key. A must try!l a Locally owned restuarant's on the water on the oceanside. Has a wine list with good variety and selection. Food is flavorful, fresh and fulfilling. The restaurant is small, limited seating indoor and outdoor. Reservations is recommended ahead of time.

I was only able to eat breakfasts there as a part of staying at the Rainbow Bend hotel. It was just ok. They had only few items available to chose from, nothing really that was vegan except bagel and whatever my husband ate it was very basic and the portion size was very small. No coffee refills, nobody really cares of you after you get your food. Few times the order was incorrect or there were items missing.

Beautiful view

Everything here is 10/10 top to bottom. The bread and tapenade, the Caesar salad, the French onion soup as starters were just amazing. We had a bottle of the Vouvray wine and it was SO delicious. Johnathan, the waiter was so so kind and attentive and very clearly busting his butt to serve all of the tables. For mains, we got duck, New York strip, and the seafood medley with flamingo sauce. All of the above were UNREAL. The seafood medley had hogfish in it and WOWWWWW I can't get over how good it was. Freda, the chef and owner, is so kind and gave me a dessert for my first time too!!! The view is also just the cherry on top. Could not recommend enough!

Won't be back. Spent over 30 minutes waiting on a table that was supposed to be reserved for me and finally left.

What are the prices like? The online menu doesn't post them.

Entrees are roughly 30$ each! Well worth it. We spent 100$ on two soups, two entrees, two desserts.

It was so good I actually went twice. Once by myself and once with my family. We all had sandwiches which were very generously portioned. I had the Italian on one occasion and the Turkey on another. Both were fab and more than enough. With a bag of chips a single sandwich is an easy lunch for two. Clientele seemed to be a mix of locals and tourists. The family who runs it was very friendly. Service was fantastic. If you want a more hearty meal they have a daily special that includes two or three meat options, rice, beans, etc. not exactly diet food, but you won't go hungry. Seating was limited but they have tables outside as well. No one was left standing. I loved it and would return again.

Nothing , around this area, truly compares to this little spot established in 2023. As soon as you walk in you're greeting with a smile and warmth. The place's energy is very laid back, homey and unpretentious which I loved. The menu is right to the point and perfectly designed to keep things minimal and at the same time , offer variety without too much complications of choice. Something that was appreciated after making so many choices this week! We got their breakfast egg, cheese, ham + 2 croquetas sandwich and when I say this ks the softest most delicious Cuban bread I have ever had, trust me!!! Also, the sandwiches are HUGE. If you have a big appetite, totally worth it but if you're trying to save some bucks, two people can easily get full with the two halves. Highly recommend splitting one sandwich since they're HUGE or you can take the other half for later. Their coffee was also amazing alongside their pastries. They have guava, pineapple, apple and coconut pastries.

This place is fabulous not just for food, drinks and convenience store items but they carry so many cute retail items too including Lululemon. You know a place is bougie if they carry Lululemon. Lol. They sell booze, unique gift items, bulk candy section, sunscreen, bug spray, clothing, snacks, canned drinks, and so much more. There is an activities area where you can check out things to do while you're staying at Isla Belle Beach Resort too. Ask for Sean, he's the Director of Guest Experiences and he'll take great care of you! The space is beautiful and so big. The Marketplace reminds me a lot of Sugarboo & Co which is a unique home goods store with fun gift items. If you've ever been to Sugarboo in Orlando or Atlanta, you'll know what I mean. We stopped in here a few times mainly for coffee or breakfast sandwiches. Had the hazelnut cappuccino and warning to all, they make the coffee super fresh and piping hot. No joke, almost burned my mouth twice. I wasn't the only one. Ha. But coffee is good, just be careful and let your drink cool off. I speak from experience. The breakfast sandwiches here are really tasty and fresh. They don't list the breakfast sandwiches on the menu as it changes regularly. We had an everything bagel breakfast sandwiches with egg, bacon and cheese. The bagel was perfectly soft and chewy and yummy. Pricing is fair and you can charge to your room. If you're staying at the resort, you can walk here from the main resort area and lobby too. It's a short walk and you enter through the back area that way. It's also next to the Event Center. Coolest marketplace I've ever seen!

I'm very active and finding protein options while traveling can be tough, but they accommodated my diet perfectly without needing to make modifications. The breakfast bowl with tofu is amazing, and the veggie burger is hands down one of the best I've had, and they recently switched to gluten free breadcrumbs as a binder so it's truly gluten free! 11/10 on the service scale as they started remembering my order and making me feel at home! They give out cool names for those waiting for tables, and the overall vibe here is not a tacky island style restaurant, more of a local, hometown, favorite. Their bakery items include plenty of options for gluten free guests, and everything I had from there was also amazing. Highly recommend!

They all were pretty good but nothing stood out. The star of the show that is pictured is their infamous Key Lime Pie. This pie was a hefty slice ($13) and more than enough to share. The meringue was toasted perfectly, the filling had a delicious tartness to it but the crust was so hard! We could barely cut the bottom of the pie because this crust was so hard. Eventually, we just ate the filling and meringue without the crust due to the hassle. I wasn't as amazed as I expected to be from the praises this restaurant gets but I would be willing to try again. The food came out very quickly and the customer service was great!
