It was so good I actually went twice. Once by myself and once with my family. We all had sandwiches which were very generously portioned. I had the Italian on one occasion and the Turkey on another. Both were fab and more than enough. With a bag of chips a single sandwich is an easy lunch for two. Clientele seemed to be a mix of locals and tourists. The family who runs it was very friendly. Service was fantastic. If you want a more hearty meal they have a daily special that includes two or three meat options, rice, beans, etc. not exactly diet food, but you won't go hungry. Seating was limited but they have tables outside as well. No one was left standing. I loved it and would return again.

Nothing , around this area, truly compares to this little spot established in 2023. As soon as you walk in you're greeting with a smile and warmth. The place's energy is very laid back, homey and unpretentious which I loved. The menu is right to the point and perfectly designed to keep things minimal and at the same time , offer variety without too much complications of choice. Something that was appreciated after making so many choices this week! We got their breakfast egg, cheese, ham + 2 croquetas sandwich and when I say this ks the softest most delicious Cuban bread I have ever had, trust me!!! Also, the sandwiches are HUGE. If you have a big appetite, totally worth it but if you're trying to save some bucks, two people can easily get full with the two halves. Highly recommend splitting one sandwich since they're HUGE or you can take the other half for later. Their coffee was also amazing alongside their pastries. They have guava, pineapple, apple and coconut pastries.

I'm very active and finding protein options while traveling can be tough, but they accommodated my diet perfectly without needing to make modifications. The breakfast bowl with tofu is amazing, and the veggie burger is hands down one of the best I've had, and they recently switched to gluten free breadcrumbs as a binder so it's truly gluten free! 11/10 on the service scale as they started remembering my order and making me feel at home! They give out cool names for those waiting for tables, and the overall vibe here is not a tacky island style restaurant, more of a local, hometown, favorite. Their bakery items include plenty of options for gluten free guests, and everything I had from there was also amazing. Highly recommend!

They all were pretty good but nothing stood out. The star of the show that is pictured is their infamous Key Lime Pie. This pie was a hefty slice ($13) and more than enough to share. The meringue was toasted perfectly, the filling had a delicious tartness to it but the crust was so hard! We could barely cut the bottom of the pie because this crust was so hard. Eventually, we just ate the filling and meringue without the crust due to the hassle. I wasn't as amazed as I expected to be from the praises this restaurant gets but I would be willing to try again. The food came out very quickly and the customer service was great!

Delicate, pure amazing. Light egg wash and amazingly fresh and tender local fish I've never had. One I ordered had shrimp as well (was also supposed to be scallops). Choice of pasta or veg (green beans and potatoes). 5 stars - Duck: soy glazed half duck. Hub gave 4.5 stars - Bread: fresh, warm, and slightly seasoned. Would've liked some olive oil with it. 3.5 stars - Generous pour for glasses of wine - Mother son duo was so sweet Midlights - Beef Wellington: standard. 3 stars - Escargot: nice thin cognac sauce with tender escargot but being on a plate looked like it was drowning. 3 stars - Atmosphere: inside a motel like place. The fried fisherman's platter was okay but lacked flavor on many items (just tasted like fried batter) and there wasn't many shrimp (maybe four); it was mostly small clam and calamari pieces. The fried fish was pretty good. For us, this restaurant was all about the views and outdoor Keys vibe, but the food while not bad, could've been better. I've seen many people say Lazy Days has really good food, so I'll give them a pass and assume we just didn't get their best when we stopped last week for lunch.

The Spicy Margarita says it's made with jalapeño tequila, but the flavor was like they added muddled jalapeño peppers. Not super spicy just *really* strong jalapeño flavor; it was gross. The Lazy Smash had so much Key lime juice that the whole drink was just bitter. We didn't finish either drink. For entrees, we had the Steak Teriyaki and the special Lobster Lorenzo. Teriyaki sauce had some kind of Indian spice added - curry powder? turmeric? - whatever it was it tasted like a teriyaki/marsala. It was odd. The Lobster Lorenzo is a split lobster tail that is breaded and fried, topped with a giant crab cake and sauce. The crab cake and sauce were amazing, the lobster was tough and chewy. I can't really comment on the server, since we had three different guys between the drink orders, the food order, food delivery, and the check. Scenery is nice and the restaurant itself is well decorated and inviting next to the water. But the food and drinks are definitely not worth the price. There are lots of other great choices in the Keys.
