This is a very popular dessert cafe in HK located in Causeway Bay. It's a small cafe with limited seats. Make sure you get there early since they don't accept reservation. The pictures of the menu look so amazing that you wanted to try everything. Soufflé was so fresh and delicious and their matcha was so tasty. This is quite a hidden gem as of now. I believe it is opened very recently. This restaurant is situated at Causeway Place (銅鑼灣地帶) right outside of Exit E from CWB MTR Station. We were on our way to visit someone at Windsor Place (皇室堡), and right outside the exit I immediately spotted the neon light of HeSheEat!. This spot is easily spotted from the street but it is a bit hard to get to. My best advise is follow the escalator and then walk up the stairway. All of the staffs are very friendly. Unlike the one in MK, there aren't much people going to this store. As a matter of fact during our 1 hour visit, there were open tables the whole time. The menu is basically the same as the one in MK. We ordered a lot of things: Fried Calamari: Not bad, crunch and cooked well. Calamari wasn't chewy Strawberry Cake Foam: The strawberry cheesecake was very tasty Chocolate fondue cake: Also called the lava cake, chocolate taste was very well. Soft and not chewy Strawberry hot cake: Had to wait about 15 minutes for the hot cake, I think they mix the batter as soon as you order it. It comes with ice cream and it goes very well with the hot cake. Green Tea Yuzu smoothie: Surprisingly good! They used real yuzu to make the smoothie. Arriving right when HeSheEat opens may not be a really good idea. I can assure you there is no wait on a weekday at 11:30 am. But sadly a lot of the dessert will not be ready to be served. Luckily the only one I really want to have, Green Tea Fondue with Tofu Ice Cream and Pistachios was available. I am really into matcha and warm dessert so I really enjoyed that! Tofu ice cream was still quite creamy but the warm fondue was definitely the star. I was also really surprise with the quality of their cappuccino. The milk was perfectly frothed and the latte art did not even distort at all even when I almost finished drinking my coffee. Service was really attentive. Since we were here during lunch hour, the kitchen was busy prepping for the lunch crowd. If you want to have full access to the dessert menu, coming here after 3 pm might be more ideal. HeSheEat is a nice cafe to escape the craziness of CWB. Being on the 2nd floor, you have a bird eye view which is great for people watching. read more

I have been here a few times, my favorite on the menu is their hotcakes - i have tried the salted caramel & the berries one. The hotcakes are very light and fluffy, i would recommend the salted caramel one if it's your first time to try! The most recent time i came i decided to also try their pastas, overall it tasted pretty good. Service was ok, and i find the price is not bad comparing to other restaurants in hk. When i arrived at this restaurant, it wasn't too busy. If you come here around after dinner, expect to wait a bit- i believe most people come here for their dessert menu. read more

Delicious desserts!! I came here late one night with two friends just for dessert, and hesheeat did not disappoint! We ordered the chocolate waffles, green tea soufflé with tofu ice cream and pistachios, and sakura berry panna cotta. The chocolate waffles were a little bit dry. I would have loved it if there was a bit extra cream/syrup. The green tea soufflé with tofu ice cream and pistachios were a perfect combination. It was my first time having tofu ice cream, and surprisingly, I loved it all. The tofu ice cream had a lovely light taste in contrast to the strong green tea soufflé. No wonder it worked so well! Lastly, the sakura berry panna cotta was my favorite. It's weird because I don't like fruits but this was a different type of taste. The flavors were light and had an essence of sakura. It was like I was eating flowers, and it was so yummy. The interior is small like any other restaurant in Hong Kong. Luckily I didn't have to queue because I went at such a late hour. The server was super nice and actually refilled my water, which I find rare in Hong Kong. We all also got complementary green tea listerine because we got their Levi's green tea soufflé special. I went there ytd at abt 3pm, becoz i saw quite a lot empty seats in the restaurant, so assume there wasnt any queue. Then the waitress said the queue is at the other side and there were two groups of people before me. I can see there were tables available inside but I hv no idea why they keep us waiting outside... Not the most comfortable seats as tables are closely packed together but we were immediately seated upon arrival at 7 and food was served in 10 min so I'm happy with that. Servants are a bit talkative but they're just trying to be friendly. The food looks and tastes delicious - goose liver risotto (with chestnuts and cheese) and squid ink linguine (with lots of squid) are chewy and tasty, worth spending 130+hkd on. TL;DR Should've known... if there's a food place in HK that's hovering around 3 stars, it's a place to avoid. As another reviewer mentioned, they have some weird seating issue at this place. My party of two were led to a large table at the back after we arrived. Since it's a large table, and two other patrons were seating at the far end of the table, we decided to sit face to face at the other end. It's easier for us to chat and share our food. However, after we've ordered, another couple arrived and then the server decided that we needed to move. Thanks for telling us after we've been all settled and ordered. In the end we sat face to face we another couple for the meal -- awkward. The food, caramelized banana waffles, was really mediocre and the service was just so-so. So, the way to kick a customer away is to tell them that "you can only refill a tea pot of hot water once". Clearly does not want me to seat any longer. Anyhow, the environment and atmosphere is very noisy and crowded. This is not a good place to seat long. And the waiting staffs are not too friendly. As for drinks, the mocha was way over dosed with chocolate that it basically not drinkable until watered down by two or three cups of water. And the organic detox infusion tea basically is filled half pot, and yet you are only allowed to refill once to another half pot. What a waste of tea! If there is a set rule for limited times of refill, it would be written on the menu, or if you prefer customer to not seat for this long, it could be written on a wall as a rule. More over, there are plenty of empty seats anyway. One good thing is that, if you are tired and needed a place to rest your legs at Causeway Bat after a rush of tiring shopping, this place is good for resting for an hour or two. read more

Never say never, especially when it comes to dessert. We have heard of quite a number of comments about the quality of the hot cakes served at HeSheEat, the modern dessert place. Same as others, we were also quite surprised and satisfied by the hot cake they provide. The 1 1/2 inch thick hot cake came piping hot after a 15 minutes wait, which made it very nice to go along with the butter on the top. Butter melted and gave some more aroma to the hot cake, and the hotcake was very eggy, soft and moist. There was salted caramel sauce on the side for you to drizzle over the hot cake but we found it quite ordinary, not to mention about the vanilla ice cream. It was more like an mediocre caramel sauce, trace of salt was minimal, we'd rather call it a caramel sauce than a salted caramel sauce. Super yummy food! Although it is slightly more pricey than most hk places, the food we ate was delicious. Fresh and flavoursome. The menu is both Chinese and English (possibly Jap as well is I remember correctly) , which is super helpful if you're some variant of an ABC. We got seated quite quickly despite the line. (We got there around 7:30/8pm) There's a possibility that you may need to share a table, but if you do it's not too bad (we did) everyone just keeps to themselves, and you get to see all the food others are eating. I'm a bit torn about this place so you be the judge. Came into this half empty cafe as a party of 2 and was told to share a table of 4 with two invisible people. Then when my visible partner sat next to me, they told us they dont separate the table sideways so we must sit facing each other even though it was a booth where i wouldn't be able to get out if people actually came to sit at our table. Then we ordered our dish and was told it would take half an hour. It was a pancake. What did u have to do, chase down a chicken to get the eggs? It was really delicious though with the salted caramel. The dish would have saved this unpleasant experience if it weren't for the long black armpit hair on the ice cream container on the plate...
