Very popular cha chaan teng. The line was long for dine in and takeout. We went for dine in. After seating we needed to order at the register. The lady seems to speak canto, Mando, and English so no problem ordering whatsoever. We got their yuenyeung, Hong Kong milk tea, triple egg sando, and salted egg sando. The salted egg sando was the better one in my opinion because the flavors were very noticeable. The triple egg sando didn't have much egg flavors as it was overpowered by the parsley. To make things a bit worse.. there was also less egg included. To add salt to injuries, both sandos were very tiny. The drinks have nice flavors but large size seemed more like regular. Would I come back? Probably not as there are many many options out there. Do I regret trying? Nope! Love trying these cha chaan tengs.

My Cup of Tea / Wan Chai (Hong Kong) -- I like what natives of Hong Kong consider fast food around these parts. In this quite narrow space, there was no clown involved or any burger presented animal style - though they do offer a classic hot dog (photo: https://yelp.to/X1f6UvqxYB). Apparently they're most famous for their award-winning milk teas, but I bookmarked this spot because of a thick egg sandwich that I saw on YouTube. It looked pretty yummy in a world full of beef noodle bowls. Jamie W and I were just traipsing through Hong Kong Park and got peckish after our Victoria Peak adventure. We just grabbed a laminated menu and sat in the only two vacant chairs available opposite a couple of young girls with healthy appetites. Indeed I ordered the HK$25 Scrambled Egg & Salted Duck Egg Sandwich, and it was deliciously fluffy between the eggs and the bread though a mite small almost like finger sandwiches (photo: https://yelp.to/rxZY4fBCNN). There was no duck in it, just a duck egg in case you were wondering. Jamie had the HK$48 Barbecue Pork & Sunny Side Up Egg on Rice, a tasty little bowl of comfort goodness with the pork prepared stew-like in order to mix with the egg yolk and rice easily (photo: https://yelp.to/IqQ4HHf1lF). I also got a particularly yummy HK$34 Bo Lo Bao Barbecue Pork, and the crunchy-soft consistency of the bun went well with the tender pork slice (photo: https://yelp.to/LuzvWTrYfS). On her way out, one of the young girls said in perfect English, "Enjoy your visit to Hong Kong. Hope you're enjoying the food." We did. FOOD - 4 stars...really delicious and unexpected fast food AMBIANCE - 4 stars...definitely tight quarters in here but kinda cool and quaint SERVICE - 3.5 stars...a bit transactional but what the hell was I expecting? TOTAL - 4 stars...I'd eat here all the time if I was in the 'hood RELATED - Exploring Hong Kong? Here's my collection of places I've visited and reviewed: https://bit.ly/3AGgadg

This was really good. Wish it was less cramp. Less hot. Has A/C. Food wise - love the triple egg sando! Must get! Love the beef stew over noodle! Quite delish! And of course the ice milk tea - it's their signature and the lemon tea was god-send in 100 degree weather. Service is HK service - don't get tell at, order at the counter, pay and wait for your food. Very very tiny space.

I had a very short trip to HK but I'm so glad I made time for this spot. We dined in and got a table immediately, though we had to share with some others at a bigger table. Once seated, you have to order at the front. We ordered the egg truffle sandwich, bo lo bao with butter, and the tomato macaroni soup. Everything was on point. The bo lo bao was crisp and light. The tomato soup was also super flavorful and comforting. We also got the milk tea which was great. Even though my partner doesn't like eggs, he still ate the sandwich! It did not have any bitter aftertaste. We also got the half tea half coffee which was also good! I hope to go back when I visit again!

This is definitely MY CUP OF TEA! I came here for breakfast daily while in Hong Kong and I never got sick of it! Yes, and I ordered the same things - 3 color egg sandwhich, tomato beef macaroni soup, and milk tea each time! The sweet cashier lady remembers me and even knows my order each time!

We asked at our hotel front desk for a suggestion for a local breakfast spot. The restaurant is My Cup of Tea, we were told to try the hot milk tea because Eric Cheng is an award winner. We also ordered their Pineapple shaped bun, BBQ Pork in herbal noodle soup. We were early and we wereable to secure a table for 2. The restaurant is tiny and clean. They have menus in English and the staff is helpful. Definitely a place to try.

Great place to grab quick breakfast! Hong Kong Milk Tea - strong milk tea. Instead of condensed milk, you just add sugar. Pineapple bun with satay beef - the pineapple bun was crispy on the outside and super soft on the inside. Sadly there was only two small pieces of beef. Egg sandwich - scrambled eggs and duck eggs with parsley.

The Hong Kong styled milk tea here is SO smooth, and it definitely does NOT leave a bitter aftertaste like many places do. We also ordered the corned beef egg sandwich to share, and it was by far the BEST one I've ever had! The bread was so soft, and the smooth egg x corn beef ratio was perfect :) My Cup Of Tea was really busy when I went around 12:30pm on a weekday. People are constantly pouring in to order and to pick up food. The staff were friendly, worked extremely fast, and orders literally spit out in seconds. Seating is pretty limited inside (there are tables in a little alcove near the back, or you can sit at the make-shift counter space along the narrow hallway); most people just order to-go. You order and pay first at the front counter, then wait for your number to be called, and fetch for you food when it comes out on the kitchen counter lol.

Where I come from there is no good Milk Tea. I just wish I have My Cup of Tea's tea/coffee at least once a week and I would be so happy. What you like and what you think a cup of good tea is totally subjective. For HKD$16, my drink just made me happy and thinking maybe I should just move to Hong Kong permanently. Yup, it is that good!

The milk tea is very good. I feel the was too much I've and diluted it later, so order less ice should help. The egg and satay beef sandwich is pretty amazing. I actually think the satay beef is not as flavorful as I want but the sandwich bread is so fresh and soft... Goodness sake... The egg is so silky, it's a wonderful quick snack. Don't think about l bring 30 friends over for a milk tea, it only offer a few bar seat and a table that's always occupied. More like a take out place.

My review is primarily for the Hong Kong milk tea. This shop serves my favorite Hk milk tea in the city. Most places the milk tea will have a slight bitter taste or will be over sweetened. I find my cup of tea has the right level of sweetness and is really smooth. I haven't had too many of the food options but the pineapple bun and beef date sandwich are both pretty good. There typically isn't a long line and you can get your order within 10 minutes. Not a lot of seating so this more of a place to order takeaway. The price is right as well as you can a bite to eat and a milk tea for under 50 HKD.

IMO the best classic HK style milk tea! Smooth & balanced flavors. Very Lightly sweet. Also must try any of their sandwiches with eggs. We enjoyed the satay beef with egg sandwiches & corned beef sandwiches. It's a tiny shop but very cleverly designed for fast workflow. I highly recommend this if you are in the area.
