While looking to bookmark some cool coffee places in Hong Kong, I saw many IG reels for this spot…read more I came specifically for the pretty cups. The hostess will ask if you want to be seated inside or outside. HK humidity is no joke. No way would I be able to sip a hot one outside. The AC inside is perfect even with the open entrance. The furniture has that old Chinese antique with lots of 80s tchotchkes. Here is what we ordered: - Longan Honey Latte (iced & hot) - Black Sugar Latte (hot) All of our drinks were excellent as was the service. Great place to relax and chit chat with your friends. Restroom is available in the back.

Halfway was our occasional morning base, with solid Western breakfast fare: scrambled eggs on sourdough or avocado toast with smoked salmon and a solid latte and matcha latte. The artful plating stands out, with food and drinks served on vibrant enamelled porcelain with intricate designs. That said, breakfast here veers towards the more basic: scrambled eggs on toast with a side salad and nicely plated pink mayonnaise. The sourdough bread was a good multigrain, but overall a surprisingly standard rendition of a breakfast open sandwich. In all, a nice spot with friendly service, a modern setting, good atmosphere and solid a-okay cafe fare that is beautifully plated.

I have to admit: we came here twice in one day…read more First in the morning. We were actually looking for a different coffee shop and couldn't find it and so stumbled into this one & it was SO fortuitous. Their iced coffee is fab. We also got ham & cheese croissants and they were really delicious. There are a few seats downstairs but a bunch more seating upstairs. Everyone was super friendly. Later in the afternoon we were in the area again, trying once more to find the coffee shop we couldn't find in the morning, and we did finally find it but then discovered they didn't take cards (arrrrg) so we happily went back to Noc (where they do take cards, thank you very much). This time we got hot coffee & shared a slice of orange cake. Totally reco this place!

Little seating on the ground level and enough, one level up. Only another couple besides me when I walked in up here, it's starting to fill up. Coming to the place, I like the fact that they have sugar containers here instead of the sugar satchet, which I feel are such a waste of resources. They have the classic cup and saucer for the coffee with a little sleek spoon. I love clean design and this place is all that. More photos and details to follow on my blog. Link in profile.

I had to try the Hong Kong exclusive which was the Toffee Nut Crunch. Not too sweet and very yummy. I enjoyed the toffee bits in my coffee. My husband wasn't as impressed with his iced americano. To my high hopes of finding this place on Instagram to coming here, the experience was slightly…read moreunderwhelming. First off, layout of the place is kind of weird. The entrance faces a couple of steps to an elevated level where the seating is. To the left of the entrance is baristas doing their thing but you can also see baristas on the second level too. So where do we go? We walked up the stairs to get seats and proceeded to the second level barista who then told us to order on the first level. Couldn't have been easier if the barista was more attentive by greeting and waiting for people to come up to order? Anyways, we grabbed the menu and decided to get some drinks as a break from walking. Since it was hot, I got an iced mocha. And honestly, nothing special. It was just satisfying to drink something sweet and cold. Hype? Maybe. Would I come back here again? Maybe if I was desperate enough to sit at a minimal looking spot and try another drink.

Urban Coffee Roaster feels a friend making coffee for you in their living room. I love how homey it…read morefeels. One could argue that it's split into three sections: the front area that has the coffee, tea, and other baked goods, the middle area that has one small table and a winding stairwell to what I assumed is a stock room, and the back section that has a big rectangular table that's good for big parties. There are many bookcases, paintings, statues, and random knickknacks around to create that homey feel. Because of the unbearable temperatures, I ordered an iced flat white and it was a surprisingly large portion. Even to the very last drop, the flat white had a deliciously strong coffee flavor and was not watered down at all. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Because of the location (7ish minute walk from the C2 exit of the Prince Edward MTR station), I'm not sure I would frequent this place but if you happen to be in the area then this is definitely worth visiting.

They also serve alcoholic coffee drinks. Their food is decent, but like everything else they serve, it's over priced. This store specifically is nice and spacious and never really over crowded. One of the other things I dislike about this store is that you have to go upstairs and around the corner for the restroom. Location wise, they are in between Admiralty and Central station so it's quite a hike from either one.

However, my favorite drink is their signature rose latte. The flavor is delicate and subtle, and they even add edible rose petals which can admittedly feel funny as they brush your lips. Next on my to-try list: the cappuccino brûlée, the masala spiced latte, and the white truffle chestnut latte. The wi-fi is free and strong, and this is an ideal spot for casual meetings if you don't mind a side of noise with your coffee.
