Loud music (even in early AM when I prefer to ease into the day). My solution was just to get takeout rather than have my senses assaulted by the "music". The coffee is fine, but their ordering system sucks. They got confused about who ordered what and wandered around yelling out orders they made incorrectly, though they took our names. They had to take everyone's order again, after we and several others had waited 15 minutes. I paid $9 for avocado toast which is described as having feta, arugula and red pepper, thinking it would be two pieces. Instead, it was a tiny piece of bread with a teaspoon of avocado, some sunflower sprouts, and for some reason, corn sprinkled on top. Don't waste your money. Cute coffee shop on Main Street that claims to make all their food/pastries in house. Had great coffee and an excellent quiche one Friday morning. They had about 6 different quiches to chose from so there's something for everyone! And the crust is so flaky and delicious you can tell it's homemade. Just FYI....There are limited Gluten Free options - a muffin & cookie were all that were available. On a Friday morning at 8:30AM they were out of eggs (weird) so they weren't able to make some of the breakfast items listed that also would have fallen under Gluten Free umbrella. My friend ended up getting a quiche and scraping it off the crust. They also serve alcohol and had a few featured coffee/alcohol cocktails available for the morning. Hello all my gracious yelp followers. I know i have reviewed this restaurant before, however, i've been urged to write a second review because of my most recent experience. Today i went to this cafe to enjoy lunch with my friends, and to my dismay the food was less than adequate. I got the oatmilk matcha and chocolate muffin. the muffin tasted quite rubbery, and the flavor was reminiscent of store bought cake. both of my friends purchased burritos, and both agree that the flavor was disappointing. The burritos were both rapped terribly in thin, flakey tortillas that fell apart easily. However, the burritos held heat very well. so well, in fact, that they burned both of my friend's mouths. The eggs were also incredibly dry and lacking in flavor. My friend described the burrito as "mid..." and i would have to reluctantly agree that this cafe was not enjoyable in the slightest. read more

This cafe was one of my favorite spots to eat during my recent trip to Durango. So much so that we ended up eating there every morning! The pastry chef gets there early every morning to make the pastries so they are all fresh! They have seriously mastered the gluten free recipes! The texture of the muffins was so good you wouldn't even know they were gluten free! I loved everything about this place and wish I could take it back to Texas with me! The atmosphere was cozy, and the staff was so friendly and helpful. My recommendations: the gluten free muffins (the strawberry banana was my favorite), the golden egg on gluten free toast (a poached egg with gruyere cheese), and the lattes (I loved the vanilla oat milk latte)!! Sadly I had the 2 most disappointing meals I've ordered in years here. The staff was kind, and the ambience sweet, but their golden toast was made with cheap white bread, sandwich ham and an undercooked poached eggs for $8,50. We also ordered a veggie burrito which was a tortilla packed with nearly nothing but plain quinoa. Underwhelming to say the least. This is our favorite coffee spot in Durango!! They have boozy coffee--my husband got the cozy coat and the cha cha chai. They were both great!! I got the purgatory and the gingerbread. Both great as well! The staff was very friendly. I have a potato allergy and they were very happy to help me find a quiche without potato.
