I visited during Christmas/ New Years time; therefore, they were offering hot chocolate and cookies. Hot chocolate was a nice gesture and perfect touch for the cold weather. For value, I would say bags and clothing items are expensive, but worth it. Since quality is better and worth the price. I gave four stars only for the outstanding customer service by the lady who helped me. Otherwise my rating would be one star.

Walking into this ALO store was enough to make me question the brand entirely. The customer service…read morewas nonexistent from the second I walked through the door. Not one employee greeted me, smiled, acknowledged my presence, or asked if I needed assistance. I was completely ignored until I went out of my way to ask for help. The sales associates appeared far more interested in socializing with each other than doing the jobs they were hired to do. I listened to constant fake, over-the-top compliments like, "Oh my God, I love your shoes!" while actual customers wandered the store without so much as a hello. It came across as performative, shallow, and completely insincere. To make matters worse, the music was blaring so loudly that it felt like walking into a nightclub rather than a premium athletic apparel store. It was obnoxious, distracting, and made the shopping experience miserable. ALO wants to project an image of luxury and exclusivity, but this location delivers the exact opposite. Luxury isn't overpriced leggings, influencer aesthetics, or employees trying to look cool--it's making customers feel welcome, valued, and appreciated. This store failed at every level. I left without buying anything because the atmosphere was so unpleasant. If this is the standard ALO expects from its retail staff, the company has completely lost sight of what customer service is supposed to be. I'll gladly spend my money with brands that understand customers are the reason they're in business.

I've been a loyal Rimowa customer since 2009 and have owned multiple Rimowa suitcases over the…read moreyears. I've always believed the quality of the product justified the premium price. After today's experience at the Beverly Hills store, I'm no longer sure that's true. I flew into Los Angeles and drove directly from the airport to the store with my pregnant fiancée so I could have my suitcase repaired. Instead of being greeted by customer service, we were met by a third-party security guard standing behind a velvet rope who refused to let us enter because the store was supposedly "too crowded." The store was nearly empty. We were forced to stand outside in 82-degree weather while I repeatedly asked how long the wait would be. The answer was simply to keep waiting. I explained that my fiancée is pregnant and asked if she could at least wait inside in the air conditioning. Even after customers left the store, we were still left standing outside. When we were finally allowed inside, the security guard's behavior became completely unacceptable. He became confrontational, threatened to call the police, and deliberately stood chest-to-chest and eye-to-eye with me in an obvious attempt to intimidate me--all in front of my pregnant fiancée, our two dogs, other customers, and Rimowa employees. That behavior was disgraceful. To the credit of the regional manager and the operations manager, they were professional and attempted to calm the situation. Ironically, moments later they began allowing customers to walk into the store without the restrictions that had been imposed on us, making it abundantly clear that whatever policy had supposedly justified keeping us outside had suddenly disappeared. Because my older suitcase was beyond repair, I ended up purchasing a new Rimowa for approximately $1,300. I bought it because I needed luggage--not because this store earned my business. What is most shocking is the culture this store allows to exist. This isn't a Rolex boutique. It isn't a jewelry store full of diamonds. It isn't a luxury boutique selling $35,000 handbags. It's a luggage store on Rodeo Drive. There is absolutely no justification for treating loyal customers like potential criminals or allowing a third-party security guard to intimidate, threaten, and humiliate people who came in seeking warranty service. I've spent thousands of dollars with Rimowa over the years. Never did I expect to be threatened with police involvement simply for asking why my pregnant fiancée couldn't wait inside an air-conditioned store. This was, without question, the worst luxury retail experience I've ever had. Rimowa should be embarrassed that this is how one of its flagship stores represents the brand. Update: I woke up the next day just disgusted by the entire experience and returned the case at 11am when the store opened. I travel the world and would rather have a different brand by my side than be reminded about this experience

I'd been before, just to browse, and went back recently with an errand. My mom bought a pair of Loewe sunglasses a couple years ago, and after I complimented them last year, she took them off her face and immediately gave them to me. I loved them, and for a brief period wore them fairly often, until this summer, when my sister-in-law pointed out that one of the gold-colored Loewe logos had fallen off one side. It left a weird, ugly, logo-shaped impression, like the remnant of a poorly removed tattoo. Super janky, much worse-looking than like a cheap knockoff with all its parts. I took the sunglasses to the store, figuring they might be able to help, only to be told that the company does not do sunglass repairs. The sales associate was sympathetic but ultimately powerless, as there was apparently no way to get replacement parts. I asked if there was any other remedy, wondering if I'd at least get a discount on a new pair of sunglasses. But no, nothing. I left with a $400 piece of trash. I've still been wearing the sunglasses, as I can't seem to find my other pair, and I take comfort in knowing they warn others off eyewear from Loewe. Also appreciate the reminder that high prices don't guarantee high quality.
