    Always a pleasure shopping at Valentino! All the folks are always so pleasant and lovely to work with. Thank you all for making my time at your store wonderful as always. I was so thrilled to get your last pair of limited edition shoes available. I absolutely love them. They are gorgeous and classy!

    Valentino is a favorite of mine when taking my lady friends on holiday and birthday shopping. The many styles of shoes, boots, handbags and more is amazing. Nice staff that is helpful. I do not recommend shopping for others here because everyone has their own preference when it comes to fashion and fashion is the name of the game at Valentino. Let her choose and be happy.     Terrible quality of repair. I left my Valentino shoes for repair in this boutique, they returned me this. Huge gap between new bottom and the shoes

    Horrible! I purchased a bag in the flagship Rome store and did not take it out of the packaging for customs reasons. When I came back to the US the bag was making rattling noises because the exterior lock was loose. I brought it into the rodeo store and 3-4 sales people all try to tell me that the bag was fine. The bag was within 30 days of purchase with receipt and they didnt have the bag to exchange it and said I would have to contact Rome to get a new one. They finally allowed me to leave it with them for the repair man to look at. I signed a slip that had repair prices with none circled or checked. Nothing. Weeks go by and no word. So I call the store and they direct me to the repairs person. He tells me that the bag was sent to a facility out of state for repair. I ask directly if there was a charge and he says no. I get a voicemail a week later to pick up the bag and since I am not free to go to the store I send my partner with the ticket I signed to pick it up. The manager tried to get him to pay $45 for a defect in the bag. He calls me to confirm. The manager gets on the phone and is yelling at me and In a calm voice I explain I signed a contract and asked directly if there was a charge and advised there was not. I was told they'd give me the bag if we never came back again. So one I get it, I check to see if it's fixed. The solution: a napkin stuffed in the pocket to keep the pocket from moving. I kid you not. Don't worry I won't come back! I don't want to be nickeled and dimed on an LUXURY purchase. Ps. The bag BROKE! I was wearing it on my shoulder leaving a restaurant and it fell off the strap. It's been 2 months and I've worn it less than 10 times. I contact the customer service and still have not received a response. What a joke Pps. Final response is now I have to pay them for a repaired strap and have to drive a hour to the other store to have it fixed. Are there nefative UPDATE. The bag strap has broken 3 times due to poor stitching. I keep going to the OC store for repair. AND they have never charged me there

    Sometimes we forget just how good we have it in LA with the plethora of neighborhood boutique shops…read moreright under our noses. Seaver - which is right in the middle of the West Third shopping stretch, just a couple of doors down from Joan's - is a great reminder of that fact. It's one of those quaint shops which makes you sigh a breath of relief knowing options still exist to spy a gift or great find, without making another trip to a cookie cutter mall with the rest of the sheep. Specializing in clothing (designed by the owner, Nathalie), gifts and little treasures, there's something here for just about everyone. We stumbled in after brunch and were amazed by the variety of unique offerings the shop is nearly overflowing with - designer rubber duckies (we left with "decorator duck"), vintage stripper cuff links, stenciled leatherette checkbook and ipod covers in yummy pastel colors for spring, magnets, soaps, custom aprons (that give Anthropologie a run for their money), some beautiful things for baby, and of course, clothes and accessories. Not all of Seaver's clothes fit my taste, but aside from the super fab aprons that actually make you want to cook, her brocade jackets are beautifully sewn and well worth the price of admission. If you're trying to find a special gift for someone hard to buy for, this boutique is not to be missed - not that you could miss the beautifully painted black and white floral exterior. Nathalie is a super helpful sweetheart, there's something for just about every budget, and she'll even gift wrap it for you before you go. LA doesn't get much better than that.

After finding the experience at a…read morenearby local department store (on Wilshire) to be terrible (ie grouchy and aloof) it occurred to me to visit the Celine flagship store itself on Rodeo. I didn't know what to expect because originally I was "just looking." Purchasing from Celine has long been on my wish list because I love the quality and understated elegance of the brand. Consistently, over the last seven months, the staff has been extremely warm, welcoming and accommodating. Simon in particular has been fantastic; and has helped me with purchases as I build up my Celine collection. I never feel pressured to buy, so it's fun to pop by and add to my wish list. From day one he really "got" my style so he knows what to suggest and is always spot on. Even if I'm just buying a lipstick, I feel as if I'm getting the same warm welcome and attention to detail as if I was buying an entire wardrobe. I think that building a long term relationship with a store and it's staff makes the entire experience that much better. Thank you Simon and Celine for making shopping fun again (like back in the day!) - see you in 2026.
