Great staff, but an unsettling return process that doesn't reflect a luxury brand My experience returning an item at Saint Laurent Beverly Hills was strange--especially after having such an amazing purchasing experience at the Las Vegas location, where the service was fun, transparent, and genuinely enjoyable. Everyone at the Beverly Hills store was extremely nice and professional, but the return process itself felt shady and unnecessary. The associate took my high-value item out of my sight twice for "inspection." During that time, the products are still legally mine--and that practice leaves far too many possibilities for misunderstanding or even accidental damage that could later be blamed on the customer. After the second inspection, I was told one of the bags "looked used." When I asked for clarification, I was shown what turned out to be a spec of glitter--which the associate herself was also wearing. She then added that "technically, after a return, the bag would be unsaleable." I pointed out the obvious: if a bag they sold me had glitter or anything else on it that I didn't notice until I got home, they would've sold me an "unsaleable" product by that same logic. When I calmly refused to accept her explanation, she said, "well let me go talk to my manager." After reviewing it again, they came back and agreed to "make an exception this time." While I appreciated the resolution, the phrasing made it sound like they were doing me a favor rather than correcting an unreasonable assessment. For a brand built on trust, quality, and image, this return policy feels out of step. Customers shouldn't have to surrender visibility of their property or defend themselves over something as trivial as glitter. Luxury should extend to how people are treated--not just what they're sold. read more

I was there today, returning a bag that I bought less than two weeks ago at the Glendale location that I didn't even breathe on let alone use... Alex the store Director, manager whatever she called herself was the most unprofessional sales associate I've ever dealt with... she does not belong on Rodeo Drive with that attitude and Customer service skills that she's by far lacking ... When you're buying a BRAND NEW designer YSL bag and it's damaged, as clearly you could see it had never been used , you should never question the customer you should do everything in your power to make it right. I understand this world we live in has changed, and there are shady people out there however there are ways to inspect bags, which by the way she didn't even do she just turned me away and made me drive from rodeo to Glendale. With that said the purse that I bought had a chain that literally broke while ALEX was taking it out of the box & that was not the reason why I was exchanging it. It had a little scratch on the bag that I wasn't OK with when you're spending $3000 on a bag. And last but not least prior to turning me away ALEX said she needed to call the Glendale location to make sure that I bought it there and that the employees would have to look through the cameras. I'm a 52-year-old woman who's been married almost 25 years this September . My husband has been buying me designer bags since we met in the late 90's and this Alex lady is going to treat me like this & insult me by telling me she's going to call the store to make sure that the bag was purchased there after they look through cameras ?! Oh , I'm not done yet. I will be going way above her head because what she did to me today I'll never forget not to mention she wasted a lot of my time and energy over a purse. Thank you, ALEX for the worst customer service! I would advise everyone to buy from Nordstrom Neiman's or Saks as their customer service is far better than YSL on Rodeo Drive! read more

High fashion brand store on Rodeo. Came here on a weekend in the afternoon and there was no wait. Maggie helped us, and she was awesome - very eager to help and efficient in bringing out options from both storage to find the right bag for a present. She helped gift wrap the bag as well. Metered street parking. They offered water, espresso, as well as champagne. They had Yves St Laurent branded stevia and sugar packets, which I thought was super cute. Credit/debit cards accepted and they bring the card reader to you. You will need to create an account in order to be able to bring in the bag for any repairs during the 2-year warranty. read more

Old review, but it's Needed. For starters, the whole interaction was Awkward af & Extremely Slow to assist (Store was not busy 4-13-23) . Not sure what Fat Monster wore the shoes and returned them(Sz41 Venice Blk). But the salesman thought it would be a good idea to sell them to me. We both looked at them. I honestly thought the tissue paper stuffed in the shoe irregularly may have made the toe a little off and that it would adjust but thinking back I feel like he knew. I've worn these shoes maybe five times since I've bought them. You can tell whoever had them before had very wide ankles and kneeled down in them, the toe just isn't right. Crazy crease. Not my first pair, so I know. I get upset everytime I see these shoes lol(not really).To the salesman...Work on your Professionalism and Ethics. Your name is on my receipt. I like this store. I didn't really see anything I hadn't seen online. (I order from them online, which makes life a lot easier, until you receive something you don't really like.) Excellent customer service. It is really a happy place. The customers are as jovial as the staff. I was greeted IMMEDIATELY and asked if I wanted water or anything to drink. (No offer of champagne, but that's ok. We have champagne at home.) Spacious, clean store with more than enough room for customers to navigate without crowding each other out. My favorite items are the condoms. Yes, I said condoms. Lol. The wrapper on one reads, "Call me." I got stuck with a defective purse and all I can do is get store credit . If I could give this posting negative stars if I would. I have been extremely disrespected by YSL originating at the Beverly Hills location, and stemming to corporate. I purchased a camera bag from this location over the phone shipped to my home. The sales associate who "helped" me was very friendly during the sale, but never provided a copy of my receipt to me via email or otherwise which felt weird. I attributed it to that it would be included with the package. Additionally, I was nervous regarding the drop length of the bag and asked the sales associate if I was not satisfied with my purchase, was I able to return for a full refund. He stated yes. His name is Dylan and I have screen captures of our text messages. Fast forward to my receipt of the bag (of which I have added photos, and of which Dylan said was "store fresh from the back"). It looks like it was dragged behind a car, I have never, ever dealt with this level of damage being received on a luxury item. Additionally, when I attempted to reach out my phone number was blocked by the sales associate. It was at this time that I called corporate who told me this was absolutely unacceptable, and that someone would be reaching out to me within 24 hours. Guess what didnt happen? No one contacted me...not for over a week. I immediately called my bank, forced with no other options and filed a charge back dispute. Only once this was done was I contact by the "Operations Manager" Jose Vega. Jose let me know that he would accept my return, sent me a return label and I promptly returned the bag to his location. I have in writing his agree to return for refund, the sending of the label, the confirmation of receipt of the bag, and his explicit intention to refund me for this horrible experience. Upon receiving the bag he stated that because I had an open dispute that he would have to contact his finance department but that he would contact me within 24 hours. Guess who wont return my phone calls anymore? Yep, Jose Vega. Now, today, I had my bank call me to tell me that Saint Laurent is FIGHTING the return. HOW is this a luxury brand, and HOW are you still in business. I am continuing to fight this, I have spent countless hours on this bullshit. DO NOT BUY FROM YSL, BEWARE OF PROMISES MADE AND GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING. read more

YSL being one of my favorite designers had a cool ceramic leopard print mug on their website which is now currently on preorder. Therefore, I searched "find in store" I was in luck to know that YSL Beverly Hills had the item. I called two days ago and spoke with sales associate Daniel who stated he'd take my information and send me a payment link by the end of the day. I never heard back even after I text to follow up. Today, I called and spoke to another sales associate who said they'd assist me too and never heard back. I guess because the item only cost $135 with tax it wasn't worth the sale to them. I do not recommend shopping at YSL Beverly Hills location 469 N Rodeo Drive. Customer service is so important to me. I rather shop at the San Diego, Costa Mesa, and Las Vegas locations. You'd think that, after this place was spectacularly looted just after Christmas 2020 in a robbery that was filmed and plastered all over the interwebs, the staff at this store might start paying attention to their customers, but no. I might as well have been a ghost in there: No "Hello," no "How are you?", no "Go f*** yourself," nothing. Usually when you go into a Rodeo Drive boutique, you can't move around without having a salesperson shadowing you. Visited April 7th for a quick purchase. I came in very cheery, and told the associate I'm just here to grab some lighters for a friend. The interaction was brief. I could tell he wasn't happy assisting me with these lighters. When he went to ring me up, he didn't ask me for my name or account. He didn't show me the product I was purchasing. When I got home, I noticed that the lighters I got were in horrible condition, and they did not look like new stock. The lighters on display were in better condition than the ones I was given. And because he didn't ask for any information from me, I of course didn't get a receipt, nor an emailed copy. Awful customer service, awful product. This is a joke. read more

I didn't walk in the store with the intent to purchase anything. I happened to be in the area and decided to take a peek. I knew that I've always wanted a handbag I was browsing to see if saw the one that was the perfect match for me. Andrew assisted me and allowed me see the handbag. It was love at first sight and the price was right. It was between two and within a few minutes I chose the one! Andrew advised me he would make sure he found a new one that was not touched. As I waited I decided to try on a pair of heels. He offered me refreshments; I was in the mood for champagne and brought me a glass. Terrible online customer service. I received a gift and wrote to ask about how the handles on the bag were falling apart and if this could be exchanged or how I should proceed. Customer service replied within a day and asked for me to send a receipt, and all the info to prove this was indeed one of their bags. That same day I took photos of the gift receipt, the damage on the bag and all info they requested. It has been 1 month and 4 emails later and still no reply. This is truly terrible customer service. This store is beautiful! Lovely, modern, clean, organized and spacious! Chase helped me with my purchase and it was smooth. They also now have alot of home items which I thought were cute. I have visited the showroom on Rodeo a couple of times. Each time, I was greeted by very pleasant store employees, offered a beverage and provided with timely assistance when needed. The store employees seem eager to help and knowledgeable of the products offered. On my last visit, I found a newly designed purse that I wanted to buy. The display purse was the only one in stock at the store at that time. The store manager was kind enough to find a non-display purse in stock at another store and made arrangements to get that purse transferred to this store that same day. Needless to say, it was great customer service and I did not have to wait long (a couple hours) to get the purse. There is plenty to do around town to kill a couple hours of wait time. I pop in to the store whenever I am in town to see what new styles they carry and would not hesitate to buy from them again. read more
