I had never met Adrian Noriega earlier, but his consistently excellent customer service was simply impressive.

I would recommend Buddhist garage to anybody and everybody. I have a 2018 Audi and I was quoted at…read moreAudi $3500 just to have my brakes and rotors replaced .. Audi claimed I needed them in the front and the back. I reached out to five other different places and the lowest quote that I received was $1800. Buddhist garage requested that I bring my vehicle in, in order for them to give me an accurate quote . This was a bit of an inconvenience because I live on the opposite side of town and my work schedule is extremely hectic, but it was worth it. They were able to actually physically look at my vehicle and see what was needed in order to give me a more accurate quote. Turns out my rear brakes are completely fine! It was my sensor that was off, which was $35 to replace. And they only charged me 780.$ for all the work. As a female it is extremely difficult to go into shops and not get screwed over and take advantage of. My sister has been taking her vehicle here for years. I took one of my vehicles here years ago and I will continue to use this garage for all of my automotive repairs. I highly recommend it. They are completely honest, and despite the fact that I was late this morning(I don't recommend that it but it was unavoidable), they understood and still got me out in a timely manner. All of their staff is friendly and the owner and his wife are there working with them.

Once I was moving, I only made it down the street before all power failed in my car and I had to coast to a stop. It is to my great luck and joy that I coasted to a stop in the parking lot of Oak Knoll Automotive. When I walked in, I was greeted by Bobby, who spoke to me like I was his friend and communicated clearly what he thought the issue might be, how long it would take and approximate cost. There were techs buzzing around the bays hard at work, so instead of making me wait forever, Bobby went out and took a look at my car himself and got it into the garage out of the 100+ heat. I ended up spending a couple hours in the waiting room (which was thoughtfully decorated and had plenty to read or watch) before Bobby told me they needed to keep the car overnight. This morning, I got a call from Bobby first thing where he told me the plan for the day and when I should expect to hear back from him. Like clockwork, he called me back to let me know my car was ready and gave me a price breakdown of the repair work done. All-in-all, this place was wildly helpful, communicated clearly about the work done, and priced fairly. Going into an auto shop as a woman by yourself can be intimidating, but this shop defies that expectation and rises to make for a terrific experience for all. I would recommend this place to my friends and family any day!

I had just driven in from Dallas…read morethe night before and don't live in Austin, so I had no idea where to go or what to expect when my Tesla started making this awful noise--like it was dragging a bunch of empty cans underneath. It was loud, embarrassing, and honestly pretty stressful. But as usual, Austin showed up with that signature Texas charm. They took me in immediately, had someone look at it right away, and fixed the issue in under 10 minutes. No hassle, no upsell, no runaround--just quick, honest help. And the best part? They didn't even charge me. Everyone there was incredibly kind, professional, and genuinely helpful. It's rare to find a place that treats you that well, especially when they could have easily charged for the time. If you're anywhere near Austin and need automotive help, this is the place to go. Fast, honest, and truly customer-focused. I'll absolutely be coming back here any time I'm in town.

I understand a good markup, but up-charging almost 3x the price makes me question their pricing strategy. I was also charged a significant amount for "ShopSupplies" separate from the charges for parts and labor. That being said, they were flexible with me. They did adjust the price slightly when they needed to use a minor part that wasn't originally included in the estimate. To be fair, I ultimately paid the price they prepared me for, but it did seem pretty high. P.s. they had coffee, water, a waiting area with televisions, restrooms for customers, and even got me an uber to work when I dropped off my car. I can't speak on the wait time because I dropped off my car over night. If the prices seemed more fair, this place would be 5 stars.
