Window regulator and motor replaced after it was forced down due to vandalism. Monday will be the third time returning to have this work corrected. Good at first, Then the corners they cut showed as time went on. I went there a couple years ago so maybe things are better now but this is my experience with them. 1st off The office staff I delt with was very professional so no complaints there, however whoever does the body and paint work at that time may not have been the best. I needed a rear quater panel repaired that was crushed in by a car, rear tail light replaced and a new rear bumper installed. Nothing to car was there about a week I was called to pick it up it looked great For about 6 months, If I remember correctly was right about when the warranty ran out. 1st thing I noticed was the paint was peeling off the rear bumper, There was no primer underneath now I am aware that some of these bumpers do not need it so perhaps that is why either way the paint did not stick. 2 years later the rear quater panel is completely cracked not aligned with the bumper at all anymore. The reason it is cracked because that is how much body filler they used (bondo) there was almost a quarter inch of body filler in the back quarter panel alone and now has the bondo cracking and falling out and there is rust underneath. Usually you would try to pull the Dent out a little better before you would use body filler as the final thin top Coat. I'm well aware of how body work is done since I had classic cars growing up. So I guess your mileage may vary at this place one star from me... shoddy work. read more

This was a big ball of extenuating circumstances. It wasn't *exactly* their fault but some of it kind of was. In any case, I wasn't paying for it so I can't complain that much. Sooo my dad was giving me his old car, a 2003 Subaru Outback. He drove it here all the way from Alabama to give it to me. We spent an entire Friday before Christmas untangling the mess that is transferring a car title to a new owner living in the state of Texas. The next day? Dad was driving on Mo-Pac and tried to back up to change toll lanes. Bang-o right into a railguard. Perfectly pristine car was damaged on the left rear corner. Poor dad was really, really upset. Mr. Man and I felt like it was a free car who were we to complain about body damage? Dad insisted on paying, using his insurance since he was driving. Works for me! This body shop was recommended by our regular mechanic, JC Automotive. It's a bit of a drive, at the exit just north of Ikea, but it our mechanic said they were good that meant they were *good*. So after messing around with Dad's insurance we brought the car up to Georgetown on Jan 28. Where it stayed for over three weeks. Like I said it wasn't *exactly* their fault. The technician that was assigned to our car, while seeming to be a very nice guy, turned out to be a flake. I spoke to him during week 2 and he said he'd ordered a part and when it got there it wasn't up to his standards. Then two days later I got a call from the manager telling me that tech had been fired, or left, or something so the manager would be our contact from then on. From what Mr. Man and I can piece together the tech had promised time periods that weren't realistic and had left a huge mess of all his work at the shop so the manager and remaining techs had to spend about two weeks sorting out what he left behind. We weren't in any hurry, we had another car and just having a second car was a novelty to us anyway. But Dad was pretty displeased with how long it took to get this done. I can only imagine how unpleasant some of the other customers were about it since even we were starting to get a little annoyed. A friend of mine had wrecked and had her car repaired in the time we had this car in this shop. I know in the end it wasn't really their fault. But, again, it kind of is important to keep track of the bad employees. I know they were just purchased by Service King in the fall and there have probably been some bumps with the transition. They were really great about keeping in touch though. I would get a text each time the car's status had changed. They would call every other day. And in the end the car looks perfect. They even fixed a tiny door ding mark that had been there. The quality in the work shows for sure. No trouble with the billing on our end and I imagine Dad will have an easy time too. If we had to get work done I'd probably take the car there. But I wouldn't rely on getting it back that quickly. read more

Seriously, you don't have room for one car the night before? B.S. I responded, I'll have to make another appointment or find another place. The woman on the phone said, that's fine, and hung up. These guys were great! Hopefully I never see them again because if I do it means my car is damaged but if it is, I will certainly go here to get it fixed! I had had my 2016 Jeep for TEN DAYS when I got hit by a rock on i35 which caused several dents and chips in the hood as well as a chipped windshield. My Liberty Mutual rep told me about this place and as it was just up the road I decided to go here. Sawyer, my rep, was great and talked me through the process. I was disappointed at how long I had to wait to get my car fixed (almost a month) but I guess that's because they're so busy because they're the best around. My car came back looking as good as new, they even put on my license plates for me which they didn't have to do. My only complaint is how long it took - I was without my car for almost 2 weeks in the end (when I had been told it would only be a few days) but I was happy to wait to ensure the job was done properly. read more

They get three stars because my car looks like it did before the wreck. But time wise.... Basically took double the time I was quoted for. Really irritating when your car pick up date keeps getting pushed back a few days. I would have been thrilled if they were honest upfront saying it would take FOUR weeks to fix basically 1/4 of my car. I can't even imagine if 1/2 the car was damaged it probably would take two months.....If you guys decide to fix your car here just be prepared to drive a rental for awhile! read more

I can not begin to express how impressed I was with this place. To begin with, their customer service is outstanding. They charge a lot less for labor so the cost of my repairs was half of that of Caliber Collision's estimate. Express Autobody uses environmentally friendly paint and even offered me a tour of their facility. The work was top notch and they cleaned my car so well I was speechless. Hopefully I won't have to get more work on my car, but if I do I wouldn't take it anywhere else. read more

Time: The first 2 times were pretty quick..got it back in the same week. 3rd time was a bit longer, just 2 weeks, but they had a paint company come in...and wanted to make sure, they said...so i did not mind. note: Service king provides (pays for) my rental from Enterprise, so I had a car to drive the entire time while my car was in the shop. Enterprise would come pick me up at the SK location, and then give me a rental at their near by location. I was here 3 times, and for all those times their services were amazing! The first time, I had to get my Lexus RX 350 pearl white bumper fixed due to a small incident. They fixed it great, however, the color was a little off (cream/light beige color instead of the original pearl white color from Lexus factory) and did not match the rest of the car body. David Bennet was there to inspect the car with when I went back at first, and we both agreed that the paint job needed to be redone. Service King was very professional about redoing it, and truly stood by their guarantee of customer satisfaction. The 3rd time was a few months later...after a few months of taking back my car, I noticed the rear bumper color was slowly changing again. The initial cosmetic paint in which i took back the 2nd time, started to turn into off creme color that has a tint of yellow in it. It was not noticeable to others unless one is carefully examining the car body, or look at the body and bumper comparison for a bit...however, since it was my own car, it bothered me, especially this was a brand new car that I bought in 06/13. I hate to be that picky customer who goes back all the time, and I don't want to go back because it is a hassle to have to take the car in and do the whole repair process again...but that off color really bothered me, and I have followed all the vehicle fresh paint maintenance precautions Service King gave me. Anyway, I called them, and they were very understanding and had no hesitation or questions and agreed for me to take it back in for a look. The location manager, David Schwartz, inspected the car with me. He agreed that it did look a bit off. He and David Bennet took the time to explain to me that this car paint job is a bit different. The car is pearl white, and thus has 3 layers of paint, and they have to custom mix it and cannot order the color from Lexus factory like I initially thought they would/did. This time, they told me that they brought in a paint company to help with this situation. It did take about 2 weeks, which was much longer than before. However, I did not mind as long as we don't need to do this again... Throughout the process, both David S, David B., and Ginger (another associate there) were all very patient and thorough about explaining the process and progress to me. The bottom line is, this Service King (Not sure about other locations) are so great when it comes to customer service...they make me feel at ease and comfortable to trust them with my car. Before i left, David S insured me that if I ever felt dissatisfied again, I can feel free to call them back and get it fixed again. I don't mean they did anything wrong in the first place, it was just that this custom paint is hard to match, and even lexus factory doesn't have the exact paint for each vehicle...but their service really made this whole process much better...and if let's say it does fade again or i have other problems with my car, I will definitely utilize their service again. After my car was rear-ended, I asked on our neighborhood Facebook page for a recommendation for where to take it. Several people recommended Service King. They are almost overly communicative ;) Text messages, emails and phone calls. Richard was our lead contact there and he was very easy to work with. Very courteous, very helpful and responsive. I was out of town for much of the time they had my car, so they worked with my mom who I 'nominated' in my place. They were great. The rental car was easy to coordinate through them (and I could leave it right at Service King afterwards when I picked up my car, which was super convenient!). They explained everything they did, everything they needed, etc. Very pleased, very easy process and I'm relieved especially after the whole experience of the insurance companies etc. read more

We were heading out on vacation and I hit my lift gate and it needed replacing. Service King was unbelievable in not only fixing it in 4 days but the workmanship was outstanding. You cannot see where any thing was done as the paint matches exactly. Every morning I got photos of the progress of the repair and spoke with Tom. Service King was nothing short of great with all aspects of the work. Be sure to have them give you a quote if you need repair work. I was dropping off my car at the Georgetown, Texas Service King. Sitting at the desk next to me was a customer talking to his insurance company arguing about coverage for a rental car. Insurance first said he had rental coverage, then he didn't, then he did. That settled, he asked for a rental car and was told no by the manager. The customer said "don't you want my business." Took over a month to fix my car. One time I dropped it off and it sat there for four days collecting dust. Then it sat at another shop for a few days waiting for sick employee to feel better, made them take my car to THEIR OTHER SHOP to get alignment. Communication was good for first few calls, then forget it. we had to call all of the time. The last slice of cake...All of the employees told me how nice it was to drive my car. Go somewhere else!!!!! We've had them work on our vehicles three times in the last two years. All three times it took longer than originally quoted. Granted, "We may find additional damage", but one time they told me the vehicle was ready, so I went to pick it up after turning in the rental, and I still sat there for at least two hours. Why I gave them another chance, I don't know. My husband told me not to but I did anyway (and I'll never hear the end of that). The last time we were not at fault and the other party had a non-standard auto insurer who used an third party adjusting company. After the additional damage was found (again), they sent a supplemental bill to adjusting company. By the time the vehicle was ready to be picked up, Service King had not received the supplemental check from adjusting co so we just paid out of pocket. (after working in the insurance field for more than 15 years, didn't surprise me, figured supplemental check would be sent to us like the initial one.) So we pick up the car and pay the $1,800. Fast forward two weeks, and I follow up with the adjusting company asking where the supplemental check was and was told they sent it to Service King. This is where the REAL problem starts. I called them and was told they show the money received, it will take two weeks for the check to be sent out (spoke to Sawyer, he said he just started working there). THREE weeks pass and still no check. Call GT location again (spoke to David Bennett), and I'm told it was just mailed out on Wednesday (this was Friday). Coming from Dallas so shouldn't take long. Well, here I am 7 days later and still no check. Call GT location again and ask to speak to manager, Tom, he tells me it was just sent out yesterday. Sound familiar? Told him Bennett told me a week ago it was mailed out. Tom said I don't know where he got that information, but this is what they are telling me today. Tom said he just transferred to this location on Monday, so he's not really sure what's going on but the funny thing is, he sounded EXACTLY like the manager that was there when I dropped the car off 6 weeks ago! I've tried to call the corporate headquarters and the area manager (number Tom gave me) and get nowhere. In my opinion, they are not honest. I'll NEVER take any of our cars there again. It's sad Express Auto Body was sold. Dave was always really nice and I had no problems with them. As I said before, GO Somewhere Else!!!! read more
