After reading your System Diagnostic I have to give my two cents. NO, you do not get the diagnostic right the first time. NOT even the 2nd time. What you're doing is making an assumption that costs me money. It would be great if you could back up your diagnosis with (if it's not right you eat the charge) not me. So, my car started blinking a bunch of different crazy lights at me, and the VW dealership couldn't get me in until Friday (and it happened on a Tuesday). When I went to try to get it fixed at Firestone, they *literally* wrote on my service notes "Too many issues" and told me they couldn't help me. I found Heritage through Yelp, called to see if I could come in, and sure enough - they said they could get me in! Yay! Although the problem disappeared by the time I arrived at Heritage, the owner explained to me what he thought might be happening, ran a diagnostic, reset the car's computers, took it out to try to replicate the problem ... basically he did every single possible thing to try to get an answer for me. AND he didn't talk down to me, which unfortunately, can sometimes be par for course when women go to car repair places. I wasn't able to get an answer yet, but I will definitely come back here for repairs when they crop up again. ALSO - I overheard them talking about another repair. They remembered that there was a recall on a water pump for that specific model and let the customer know so that they could get that repair done for free at the dealership. read more

Let me start by saying Richard is a great person. He loves what he does and it shows in his work. I took my MK7 GTI in to have an exhaust and lowering springs installed.
