I don't know why everyone else is saying these guys are so great. I went to these guys for a simple brake light issue and the for some reason needed to mess with something under the hood? I said sure a few days later my car shut off I take it back turns out I have a bad spark plug "how convenient". I give this guy my whole life story of be being sick and needing a kidney and guess what 1 week later my car stalls in the middle of me driving I finally said fuck it and went to auto zone turns out I have a bad fuel injector ALSO "no 1 problem I can believe BUT 2 BACK TO BACK they intentionally sabotaged my car so I would have to keep coming back, I changed the injector myself and its been working fine ever since fuck these guys go find somewhere else especially if ur of the Ethnic persuasion. read more

Authorized work for Front brakes quoted $339 Called at 2:30 truck had not been worked on also mentioned front transfer case leaking. I decided not to have them work on my truck. They would not pick me up because of this. I walked 45 minutes to get to the shop Rayn the owner told me to get the fuck out of his shop. Told me he can pick and choose what vehicles to work on. I recently had a wheel come off of my 16 ft trailer that I use for brush hauling. I have a tree trimming business and my trailer was full of brush. The guys at this place were super helpful and not afraid of dealing with a trailer full of brush. They told me straight what the problems were and gave me advice on the best way to get back up and running. They ended up replacing a hub and re-packing the bearings for all of the wheels. Ryan and his guys are great. He's really attentive and doesn't try to oversell you. His prices are reasonable. We've always been given the run around from chain stores, like Firestone. We've found someone who we can trust to give us the 100% honest truth about our cars and not charge us to the breaking point. He gave us updates over the phone, along with details about what it might be, approximate cost to fix it and parts needed. Once he figured it out, he explained exactly what it was, why it triggered so many dash lights and what the fix was. Diagnostics were really cheap compared to everyone else in the area. It may not be the truth you were looking for, but facts are never bad. Anytime I can afford to spend some hard-earned money to have my car repaired, I will bring it here and hope that Ryan has time to see me. These guys are awesome! Our vehicle (Dodge Caliber) wouldn't start on a recent Friday morning. I chose The Mechanic based on favorable reviews, and I was thrilled that I did. After having the car towed over to them around noon, I received my first pleasant surprise when they unexpectedly offered to drive me back to my house. Ryan and James then called me several times over the next few hours updating me on their progress, the details of their diagnosis (a failed crankshaft position sensor which prevented ignition), thorough explanations of the repair required, a very reasonable repair cost, and helpful observations of other needed maintenance. When they called to tell me my car was ready to go by 4:30pm the same day, I knew I'd found my new auto repair shop! They were extraordinarily professional and helpful, without being pushy. They worked quickly to diagnose and then make necessary repairs. They were very fair with cost of repairs. Thanks for helping us in an emergency situation. Please note that the below review has been updated. I wanted to remove some remarks I made about the establishment that were unfair and had no basis or proof, but were simply down to frustration at the time of writing. I also wanted to be a little clearer on exactly what it was that I experienced. I initially brought my Honda Fit in as I was experiencing some shaking when applying the brakes. After looking into it, I was told it needed some work on the brakes. This included pads and rotors, and I also believe calipers were mentioned (may not have been included in final work order, but pads and rotors were). After the work was done, the shaking was noticeably gone, so job done right? Unfortunately, a new issue was experienced a few days later. While backing out of the driveway, applying force to the brakes, the vehicle did not stop. I then brought it back to these guys. After another check, I was told that different pad brands may take some time to break in. As I am not a mechanic, I trust the opinions of those that are. This past weekend, the vehicle failed its inspection, something that has never happened before. The failed reason is due to the fact that the vehicle did not stop within the required distance (less than 20ft). While it has been less than a year since the work was done by these guys, I do not believe this can be dismissed as an issue that may have occurred within that timeframe. While that is indeed possible, it seems directly related to the issue of the vehicle not stopping while backing out within a week of the work being done. At this stage, I think the pads would be broken in by now. I have since checked the vehicle into a different shop to resolve this issue, resulting in what I feel is a further expense for the issue I brought back to these guys a week after the initial work. While the initial shaking issue was indeed resolved, it was swapped for another issue, which was deemed to be a new pad issue, expected to resolve with use. It is my opinion that the failed inspection indicates an unresolved issue dating back to this work. read more
