They came to me, jumped my truck to get it to the shop, drove me home, then picked me up to get my truck back! That's 5-star service!
    Nicky B.

They went above and beyond to accommodate my complicated situation and were very reasonably priced. I will be back with a basket of cookies to thank them for sure!

Best shop I've been to in Austin area. They were quick, didn't try to oversell me, and were super honest with me and how to fix it.

Granted my car is 13 years old so it was time for some brake work. I came in since the brakes would squeak every time I reversed. Car ran fine and give or take a few months into it, I heard the reverse brakes squeak again. I took it for review and was advised this is common for older cars especially in the mornings. I hardly drive my Altima since I work from home. Just got back from a road trip and the squeaky began again. This time, I took it for a second opinion: Nissan Dealership in Round Rock: They advised me all rotors, discs and pads will need to be replaced again. I advised them I had all that work done before. Unfortunately, the rotors were discolored due to contamination from packing protection oil prior to installation. I called Express Oil change and spoke with Tony. Since its been more then 12 months since the brakes were done, there was nothing that can be done. Tony also stated this could be caused from going through car washes and the solutions they use can stick to the brakes causing further harm. DON'T GO HERE FOR BRAKE WORK. STICK WITH YOUR LOCAL DEALERSHIPS WHO KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Every experience I've had here has been fast, friendly, and, most importantly, honest. On more than one occasion, I've come in thinking I was due for an oil change, only to be told that because I don't drive very much, my oil was still in good shape and didn't need to be changed yet. Many businesses would have happily taken my money and performed unnecessary work without saying a word. Instead, they were upfront and honest, and that kind of integrity is hard to find. Their honesty has earned my trust, and they've gained a customer for life. In a world where it often feels like companies are constantly looking for ways to nickel and dime their customers while providing less and less value, it's refreshing to find a business that genuinely puts people first. Thank you for bucking that trend.

The cost is comparable to other oil changing places and less than the dealership. You also don't have the annoying sales person, but they will notify you of other services they offer and/or if you need them. First of all, I do the oil changes on my two cars myself. An oil change may be a simple thing, but…read moreif you get it wrong, it can grenade your motor. I always use synthetic oil and WIX oil filters. One or more yelpers have already mentioned they use 3rd world oil filters, which I just don't trust. If I'm going to get an oil change, I'll use a dealership and pay a little extra to get it done right. That's especially true if you have an expensive import car like a Lexus or BMW. So why am I here? I came here to get my inspection (normally I use Koenig lane inspections, but I was in this area) and at the first and end of the month you can expect to sit in a line at one of their three bays. However, it's also likely that car in front of you is going to get an oil change, which means you'll be waiting for that as well. Apparently, there is not one line for inspections and another for oil changes. With one car in front of me getting an oil change, my total wait time was over 20 minutes. Inside the office, you'll see a list of other services they offer along with free popcorn for waiting. There's a tip jar on the counter if you think they did a good job. However, I think I'll stick with my original choice. Some informative photos included.

I was able to get a walk in and was helped very quickly, the price wasn't bad either. While I was there the gentleman at the counter was dealing with a very unstable man child that was being an asshole to him seemingly out of the blue and for no reason, like he literally walked in after I did and started making all sorts of demands and threats. Thankfully he left and afterwards I checked to see if the poor guy was alright and he seemed fine just understandably frustrated. Despite this encounter however I was still helped and he was able to get a much deserved lunch break. The second time I came here it was for my breaks and despite me having the worst allergies of my life and being all sorts of runny and sniffly the staff were very friendly and there was a water cooler with free water bottles which was nice to have on such a hot and already miserable day. I will now come here regularly as I have never had a single issue and the service has always been good, it is also incredibly convenient being very close to my neighborhood.

I really wanted to give this place the benefit of the doubt because I've trusted them with my car…read moremore than once... but this is now a pattern. Most recently, I went in for service and about two weeks later my car started smelling like gas whenever I turned the AC on. That led me to finally check under the hood myself -- and what I found was honestly shocking. My engine air filter was completely missing, and the air intake hose wasn't even connected. It was just sitting on top of the engine. Not secured, not attached to anything -- just left there. That alone could've caused serious damage (or even melted from engine heat). So for the past two weeks, my car has been: * Pulling in unfiltered air * Running with an incomplete intake system * Potentially circulating fumes into the cabin That's not a minor mistake -- that's basic, critical work that was simply not done. What makes this even worse is how it was handled when I brought it up. There was no apology, no accountability, and the mechanic actually raised his voice at me when I asked about the missing filter. I stayed calm the entire time -- I wasn't disrespectful, I just wanted answers. This also isn't my first issue here. Back in July, I came in for a routine oil change and tire rotation and was upsold on additional services that ended up messing with my tire pressure sensor. When I addressed it, I got the same response -- uncertainty, deflection, and no accountability. At this point, it's not bad luck -- it's a pattern. I don't mind paying for good service, but I absolutely expect my car to be returned in proper working condition. Between the lack of attention to detail, the safety concerns, and the way customers are treated when something goes wrong, I can't recommend trusting this location with your vehicle.

I got my car back 9 weeks later. Two weeks after they fried my car, I found out my car was at Kwik Kar in Dripping Springs. RR didn't tell me that. I got a call from a manager in Dripping Springs who said he needed to replace another part. So the DS Kwik Kar kept replacing parts but still couldn't fix the car, and then suddenly that manager didn't work there anymore. The new manager took my car to a totally different shop in Dripping Springs. They didn't tell me about that either. I only knew where my car was because I had an air tag in it. The other company (not Kwik Kar) finally fixed my car, and the manager at RR Kwik Kar drove it back to RR. Oh, and he used the toll road but didn't compensate me for the toll (or even tell me he did it). And now, Kwik Kar RR and DS say they don't have any documentation of the work that was done in their shops. That includes a battery, a computer, a throttle sensor, an AC compressor sensor, and fuses--those are the parts I know of that Kwik Kar replaced but can't provide documentation of . What are they trying to hide? The managers at these two Kwik Kar locations are incompetent, unprofessional, uncaring a-holes. They don't know how to change a battery. They don't know how to communicate while they attempt to fix their mistakes. They don't know how to take responsibility. Nobody owned up to making a mistake. Nobody apologized for screwing up my car or messing up my life for two months. And they act like it's not their problem when you still need them to follow up. Keep your car far away from here.

I bring up that brake issue because it eventually became a pattern of dropping the ball, and repeated issues 1. My car had to be towed because basic logic well known issue for GMC/Chevy 6.2 liter V8 engines have a lifter issue which requires engine replacement. The car wasn't in bad shape as you say. Cadillac dealership said I should have it towed due to the knocking sound. My car has always been kept immaculate. Yes you quoted a fair price, it was Lambs in Lakeway that was ridiculous and most people know they are. The engine took long because they sent the wrong engine and in regards to my finances it wasn't I couldn't pay . I was at the mercy of you and I was nothing but polite every single interaction with you. Your dropped the ball so many times and you actually asked me for advance payment at one point because you needed to pay your taxes . I didn't want to pay you UPFRONT Frank. You fix then pay, that's most every way it's done . You didn't have the money to cover costs which is a concern regarding running a business. I had also just spent money on another car repair and boat repairs . The car sat as I decided what I wanted to do. As far as stating you could have charged me storage you never once mentioned that and I have every phone call that proves that. Pretty shady of you to pull that out on your reply here. Again not on single time did you ever mention storage fees. So please don't act as if it was some favor you did. The car went in for an engine replacement. As you confirmed the day you put the engine in to test drive you call me telling me I need steering column replacement. Yes I have you on recording Frank stating that indeed the lift and big tires were the culprit. The steering was completely fine and it had not been driven once per you as we waited for the engine issue and replacement to be resolved. You now understand why I recorded you. You can't remember what you told me. I didn't struggle to pay you. I had a boat in repair and another car a Range Rover in repair. I communicated to you very professionally. By the way let's remember you had me pay up front on everything. It was the engine that was ordered that was delayed. 2. Regarding the transmission line. Let the public see this post. I pick up my car from Frank and I make it about a quarter to half a mile or so down road and what becomes the problem is the transmission line. Frank I have that call to you recorded as well and your claim that I accelerated or false and blew the line is total BS. It had nothing to do with big tires. I'm saving all my facts, statements from GM certified techs , and video of your guy coming over to "fix" it. Within a day or 2 it went out again and I made you tow it for free. It was your guy that you sent and had him do what he did and sent me on my way and that all was fine only to have it sent back to you. By the way on our recorded call you tried to lead me to believe with certainty it was one thing when in fact you were wrong and called me with another reason. Again grateful I recorded both those conversations. The reputable mechanics I discussed were my brothers out of Houston. My brother owns a professional garage and luxury and collector car biz for 22 years. The other reputable people was a connection I had out of A Cadillac dealer in Dallas. I mentioned this to you and so logically my car stayed locally with you. 3. The whole issue about you spending 200 for the detail I will just say to anyone reading this look at the pics of my Escalade left in his care. Never should have happened Frank. By the way I took a time stamp video of my car before it went back to you. I didn't spill the oil. That's a regular engine oil. Why would I need engine oil to leave in my backseat after you just repaired and did an engine replacement. Again shady of you to blame that on me. And by the way I had to waste 3 hours of my work day sitting there waiting on a detail. Completely unprofessional. 4. I asked you you fix my windshield wiper motor while you had it. You never did. I kept asking you very time you had the car and I have your texts alone that show you forgot several times. same thing Frank regarding the transmission thermostat. I asked you several times, you came out to fix my running board and forgot to get the transmission thermostat and windshield motor. Again pretty crazy you fixed my transmission yet our texts show you dropping the ball on the thermostat. I have lost count on the amount of texts I have that show you never show up on time. I'm done with my response. I'll update this post after claims court.
