    Breakfast sando!
    Rachel S.

Absolutely insanely delicious - the French dip and au jus was out of this world. Packed with flavor and such great quality meat. Can't wait to go back again. Breakfast sando was good but needs some crunch! Will give it another shot for sure. Services was quick and vibes are always great at the farmers market.

    Brisket Barbacoa Sandwich
    Emily G.

Stopped by the farmers market after our original lunch plans fell through. I hadn't been in awhile and was pleasantly surprised by this food truck. After looking at the menu, I decided to get the brisket barbacoa sandwich that came with housemade chips and salsa. The food came out hot and fresh. The chips were fried really well but not super oily; probably some of the best chips I've had. The salsa I believe, was one of the weekly specials but I didn't catch the name. It was a bit sweet and had some kick but overall paired well. The sandwich was filled with brisket and I mean filled. They did not skimp on the meat, or the other fillings (greens, tomato, etc.). Super flavorful and tender meat, sandwiched between veggies for some freshness and well-baked bread. My only thing is that even after eating the sandwich only 5 minutes after I received it, the bottom bread was completely soaked from the meat. Don't get me wrong, it was still delicious, but it did make eating it a bit difficult. I did toast up the leftovers that I brought home and the bread firmed up and was easier to manage. Overall, I'm really happy with what I got. There was a line of 5 or so people when I was there for lunch and it took around 20-25 minutes to get my deal. But you can see a lot of love and effort is put into the product and it tastes so good.

WoW...My coworker ask me what I had for lunch...we started discussing places we go. He told me about "Here and There" at the Friday Oakland Farmers Market. Never been. Less than 1 hour later he walks in with the most delicious Barbacoa Sandwich Tasty, seasoned, tender, flavorful beef on a nice roll with fresh chips and a nice little dip. EVERYTHING on point. Im buying the next time for him (soon) & will be back to try the other food. Thks JB & Here and There.

Brisket hash. Human and fur baby approved!

Farmers Market trips are my fav! Finally got a chance to try Here and There. We got: Brisket Hash: Seasonal veggies with brisket and egg. The brisket was tender and juicy and the mix of not just potatoes but also squash and Brussel sprouts was delicious. The egg was cooked perfectly too as you can see I didn't wait to destroy it. Chicken and Biscuits: (Not pictured because my other couldn't wait) Phenomenal. The gravy was so tasty you can really taste the herbs and it's 100% worth the wait. Biscuits were soft and moist and chicken was also very tasty lightly crisp on the edges. Lastly service: 10/10 they were super friendly and I appreciated them telling us the wait as we were ordering. I'm glad they now have a truck and not just a tent at the market because the rest of the bay should try this!

Here & There have one of the best brisket BBq sandwiches intown, It's a must have when you come down for the farmer's market.

You can tell there's real passion behind what they're doing. Now let's talk about the food... WOW. I ordered the Korean BBQ, and it was hands down the best I've ever had. The flavors were perfectly balanced, the sauce was rich and unforgettable, the rice was cooked to perfection, and the kimchi had just the right kick. Every single bite was next level. This wasn't just a meal, it was an experience. Awesome owner, Amazing people, incredible food, and quality you can truly taste. If you see Bombzies, don't even think twice...go get it. There are some dressed spring mix, pickled shredded carrot and daikon, kimchi, and cucumbers on the side that complete the meal. The char and flavor on my Korean BBQ chicken was good (a bit on the salty side but still enjoyable), and the rice and noodles were moist and plump; it's a solid bowl that I wouldn't mind eating every now and then. The main drawback is the price, especially for a casual DIY-style meal with mainly chicken and tofu choices. I also get food from Bombzies catered at my workplace and they're typically pretty good and specialize in flavorful Asian comfort food.

I was out running errands and saw where they were going to be for lunch and the times. The Universe was working with me that day because I found a park and was 4th in line before they were taking orders. Please be mindful that there was only one person taking the orders and cooking/prepping the food. I don't know if it is always the case, but he got it done. Of course, there was somewhat of a wait. Now that I am thinking, maybe I was just ready to tear into the food and that there wasn't a wait. LMFAO. This is what I ordered: #21 Roberto Clemente and some Empanadas Carne. Need I say more..... If you see someone running behind the truck for a plate of food, that's me. Lol

Fast forward to March picking up the hubster newly working in Oaktown and low and behold it's farmers market day! Score! Double unscore, the dude working the cart said no more porchetta sandwiches only at the freaking Ferry Building why why why? So I got a pork knuckle. Being asian, I do not like mushy soft chicken skin and their rotisserie chicken looked like it wouldn't be as chewy as game di bo (free range yellow chicken asian pees know what I'm talking about) so I passed. Those little potatoes look good though... Back for he pork knuckle for $9.50 it was a good size knucle very meat-y but super salty. Hence the three stars. I think I'm going to have to chalk this one up in my bookmarks as an epic fail. Maybe next time Roli Roti....
