Filet Trio
Char C.

We arrived around 9pm (we were not prepared for the time change) and they close at 10pm. I was nervous after reading other reviews from late night diners, but we had a wonderful experience. Our server was Brad, and he was top notch, 5+ stars. He had great wine and food recommendations. For starters we had the crab cake and calimari. Both were a hit. Then we had the Chefs Fish Trio and the Filet Trio, which were also very weel prepared. Our drinks were always refilled, and everyone in the restaurant was very friendly. They close at 10pm, but we didnt finish eating dinner until after 10. No one ever rushed us, and we were presented with dessert menus and assured that we could take our time. We did take our dessert to go. We couldn't stay any longer knowing we were the only people there. We had the turtle cheesecake, sticky something carrot cake and the creme brulee. All were great but the carrot cake was my favorite. When in Chattanooga, this is a great place for a steak.

I wish I could say we enjoyed our time here but the only thing redeeming about specific visit was our server, Bryson. The restaurant is lovely when you walk in. I would not say either hostesses was particularly nice but not exactly rude either. Bryson our server was just a really nice and welcoming individual. He gets 5 stars from us. We were the last reservation of the evening on a Sunday. This may be the reason our food experience was not the best. Lobster bisque was more like a creamy soup of a hint of flavor of seafood. I detected no lobster pieces but some places, like this don't have any, but I usually can taste the lobster. It tasted like a bowl of cream. I got the Oscar filet and I cut into the steak and I ate one bite and it was like eating old meat (I ordered medium rare). Very dry and chewy and the smell was very off. Everyone at the table agreed it was definitely off. The crab cake was very watery inside and the mashed potatoes were so runny like when you put way too much milk in. One bite of everything and I was turned off from eating completely. My husband's and son's delmoninco steaks were not the best but better than mine and were edible. They ate theirs but they said they would never go back for their steaks. Baked potato was good. The desserts are pretty decent. Crème brûlée I would recommend. I was pretty bummed out that visiting Chattanooga for the first time this was the experience. Side note: keeping salt and pepper shakers on the cloth seat at the table across from us for over 20 minutes till we asked the hostess to maybe remove them and wipe them off since people put their butts there is a little gross. The hostess acted like she didn't get why that would be maybe gross and the need to clean them.

From the moment you walk In the atmosphere and staff are very welcoming. They have a variety of seating areas which makes it fun if you'd want a booth for a date night or a table for business meals or even a room for private parties! The food oh my the food, the calamari was crisp yet light, the bruschetta was fresh and tasty, the fish trio was the best of both worlds and then some. The steak trio was tender and well rounded with flavor. A bit of truffle asparagus risotto with a side of scallops took me to heaven and their loaded baked potato was one of the best I've had. They cooked everything to perfection. To top it off the sticky toffee carrot cake was fluffy and paired beautifully with the cinnamon ice cream. This place is a must and new favorite, I highly recommend !

Filet trio...outstanding!

Absolutely delicious! We loved it so much, we returned the following evening. The trio steak option was out of this world. We also enjoyed the petite sirloin with crab cake and shrimps. Outstanding!

Traveling through Chattanooga and came across this GEM. The service, the ambiance, the cocktails and the meals were 10/10! We had the filet trio and the seafood trio (off menu). I'll definitely be back!

Lived around the Chattanooga and north Georgia area all my life and have always heard such good things but never go around to trying it. We finally took a Friday night to do it and I can say this has to be the best steak and seafood around. The whole dining experience was amazing. Our waiter Brad was very professional and knowledgeable about recommendations and taste preferences. He made sure we were taking care with drinks, food, and ent questions. The seared tuna starter is to die for and our steaks were cooked to perfection. The seafood is very fresh and flavorful. DO NOT GO ANYWHERE ELSE TO GET DESSERT!!!!!!!! GET THE CRENE BRÛLÉE. We will definitely be back and if someone has never tried it we will highly recommend it. If you want a good date time experience get a reservation at 6:45-7:00 eat and then walk around the river, aquarium, downtown etc. the sunset is perfect and the carriage rides are right down the road. 100000000000/10

Amazing. We stayed downtown and were able to walk a block to eat. My son wanted a steak so we chose Hennen based on other reviews. Friendly staff. Prompt service. Delicious food. Order: Steak & Lobster w/ side of Mac & cheese 5/5 Market fish selection cooked imperial = topped with lump crabmeat on top of a lobster risotto 5/5 Paired with a Glass of Pinot Grigio Dessert: **cinnamon doughnuts 4.5/5 soft, great taste, not too sweet **Special: Bourbon Pecan Pie 3/5 too sweet, tiny slice for the price. Definitely recommend eating here - the main courses were delicious! Pricey, but the food was top notch. I especially recommend it if you're already staying downtown for an easy walk for dinner.

Perfect French onion soup, Chilean Sea Bass, center-cut Filet Mignon, an amazing bread plate and strawberry moscato was a delicious meal. The crust added just the right amount of texture without overpowering the quality of the steak. The white truffle mac and cheese was rich and indulgent, while the asparagus provided a fresh, lighter balance to the meal. I also ordered the smoked old fashioned, which was smooth, well-crafted, and paired beautifully with the steak. Bridgeman's focus on prime cuts and classic steakhouse offerings really shows in the execution. Service was polished and attentive from start to finish. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu, offered thoughtful recommendations, and checked in consistently without being intrusive. Drinks arrived quickly, courses were paced well, and the entire experience felt professional and seamless. Located inside the historic Read House, Bridgeman's Chophouse delivers the upscale steakhouse atmosphere you hope for on a night out. The dining room feels elegant without being stuffy, with warm lighting, classic decor, and a refined energy that makes it equally suited for date nights, celebrations, or business dinners. The setting elevates the experience and makes the meal feel like an occasion.

With a large group & a small waiting area that was a bit tough but they took great care of us while we waited. I got a whiskey sour that was delicious. Once the table was ready the flipped it super quick to get us seated & started caring for us right away. The food was delicious! I got a Cuban which is a favorite of mine. Absolutely loved it & it was still great as a left over the next day. Several people at the table got the burger. They mentioned they would've liked more topping but that it was still delicious. Someone got fish & someone else got a steak they raved about how great it was. The fries were top notch. I'd go back just for the fries. The restaurant was loud so it was hard to talk in a large group. It was very clean & maximized the small space they have. When it's not the middle of summer it would be nice to sit outside on their patio. It seemed like if you were willing to sit there you got sat & served immediately. They kept the restaurant cool for the door being opened a lot. All of the staff were very helpful & helpful. We found this place because two friends who used to live here recommended it. Neither of them know each other & for them to both recommend the same restaurant out of all the amazing looking restaurants in town, we had to check it out. When we're in town again we'll definitely be going back. Highly recommend!

After an incredible lunch here, I could not agree more! The location is easy to access with some free and paid parking options nearby. We stopped in on a Sunday around noon and didn't have to wait for a table. The building is part meat market, part restaurant, with fun modern decor and lots of natural lighting. They have both indoor and outdoor seating, though we opted to sit inside since it was already a warm day. Our server was great, and the food was just as wonderful. We ordered the pork rinds, grilled figs, tomato salad, and the burger to share. Every bite was full of flavor and made you want to go back for more! The tomatoes in the salad were lovely and fresh, and the burger was cooked to perfection and topped with housemade pickles and melty cheese. We didn't have room for dessert this time, but we'll definitely be back the next time we're in Chatt.

They were okay, but for 5 bucks...what do you expect?‍. I would say the accompanying butter was supposed to be honey butter, but it seemed like regular butter to me! The server was polite, but I was scratching my head because she started with---"Let me go see what's not available anymore." Shouldn't she have done that before speaking to us?? The atmosphere is relaxed, but there isn't much to the decor. It was just casual.... there was brown butcher paper on top of white table cloths...kind of tacky really. It was busy, however, which added to the noise. Hubby and I both ordered the 1885 burger. Now, we are talkin'! The burger was delicious! . It was juicy and tasty. Just an all around fantastic burger. This alone is what will bring me and hubby back. The loaded baked potato was standard, but good too. It sounds like this experience wasn't great, but like I said, the burger alone is enough to go back to enjoy.

It was also a beautiful day so we sat on the patio. I love that they work with local organizations for fresh vegetables and meat! Our waiter was very nice and fairly attentive. But the food... For the good - the crab cake was delicious. It was like all crab meat with no filler and was very tasty. The pimento cheese was also SO yummy. You could tell it was made fresh and had a great flavor. The pita it came with was fine, a little over-grilled. I was not crazy about the fried okra. I wish the pieces weren't just cut in half, because to me they had that slimy okra texture inside. My gf said they weren't THAT bad, but I really had to push myself to eat them. The rosemary fries have a great flavor and were crispy (I prefer thicker fries but my gf enjoyed these). I LOVE mac and cheese and was super excited to try theirs. It was very creamy and had a good flavor but there was way too much cheese for the amount of noodles. Like the ratio was pretty off. Now for THE issue. My gf ordered the Filet Mignon, medium. It came raw and without the blue cheese compound butter. By the time the waiter came to check on us, I was half done eating. He took the steak to be put back on the grill and brought it back with a bowl of crumbled blue cheese. It was still raw inside. He brought us extra fries, but by the time it came back I was done eating. She asked for it to go and it was STILL RAW. She had cut it, so it was super obvious if you looked. The manager came and talked to us and they took it off the bill, but for a $40 filet mignon it should not take 3 tries to cook it right and it still not really be right. She said there are cold spots on the grill and they're training a new line cook, but it was not a good look... I'd maybe give more of a pass if they were packed, but there was no one eating inside and maybe two other tables of folks outside.

Not far from where we were parked we found the Wooden City conveniently across from it all (dare I say a brisk walk's worth) with Mellow Mushroom and Ben & Jerry's establishments at both corners. We were given the options of staying inside or being placed outside and we chose (biased a lil) the opportunity of eating outside. We were taken care of accordingly by Jonathan, who is a perfect example of someone that makes tourism worth it, we chitchatted back-and-forth and came across some great options on our appetizers and drinks. While we waited for drinks, we were served water with ice as the weather outside was pleasant but a little too hot for the afternoon... When the appetizers arrived, we were greeted by not only demonstration, but taste above what I've had as of recent. Wife enjoyed the freshness of the tomatoes and cheese whilst I was mesmerized by how subtle and uber smooth my Old Fashioned was. Immediate upon arrival to our table my wife and I exchanged a bite of each other's plates to give a chance for our taste pallets to experience one another. The Beet Ravioli took back my wife to a time where she made something of similar taste and the Rigatoni took me back to California when I tasted something familiar then. Towards the end, I saved the location at the name of the restaurant, as I would like a near future to come back and visit with more time.
