Lobster egg Benedict

We randomly picked this place and it was great 4.5/5 . On a Saturday the place was buzzing. We were sat right away and service was good. They had a great menu. We ordered their tostones and pork to start they were very flavorful but didn't like the cinnamon flavor on the bottom. Husband had the egg Benedict with lobster was great. Also had their Cuban sandwich and regular egg Benedict. Really recommend best food while we were in Melbourne.

What a great place to eat and have a good time. We were seated quickly inside at a very small two person booth inside. The outside seating had a waitlist, so we opted for the inside. The bar was crowded and very lively. Kaitlyn, our waitress, was not very personable, but she continually checked to see if we needed anything. The food was tasty and was the right portion size. The Guacamole & Plantain Chips were so good. We also had the Chicken Key West Bowl which was great! We will definitely be returning to eat. They do not take reservations and get crowded even on a Monday night, so plan to wait.

Had a nice experience here, after a long day. The menu has a nice selection, which made it easy to find something for everyone. Every dish we ordered came out nicely presented. The food itself tasted really good across the board. Fresh, well-seasoned, and cooked the right way. Nothing felt bland or rushed, which is impressive considering how large the restaurant is and they had a full house. The atmosphere was fun and relaxed, and overall it made for a really enjoyable meal. I will definitely be back when I'm in that area again.

Melbourne~Headed home from Ft. Lauderdale and wanted to stop into a well known spot off of I 95. This place popped up and fit the bill! Right off the bat this looked like the absolute best place to hang out. The inside was cozy and they even have their own souvenirs! That told me we were in the right place. Their menu is really extensive and had something for every taste. I definitely need to go back and try more items on their menu. It happened to be Lobster Fest so I ordered a Cuban sandwich with lobster. There was so much lobster!!! My lunch mate had a Key West bowl. Both entrees were huge and delicious! The sweet grilled plantains, in the Key West bowl, were an absolute hit. Definitely a great spot to return to!

Came for lunch with the girls on a Sunday. Espresso martini was really good. Apps were delicious! Loved the plantain chips and guac and yucca bites! Lobster bisque was delicious ! I wasn't too happy with my lobster roll. It was supposed to be cilantro butter lobster and it had no flavor. The toasted bread tasted better than the lobster. The portion was plentiful. My friends enjoyed their veggie melts and keywest bowl but my other friend said the mahi mahi was tasteless. She got jerk seasoning on the side and that fixed that. The decor was nice , tons to look at. Service was great as well. I would definitely go back but try a different entree. Something in a sauce would probably be more flavorful

Very nice place. Food was delicious. Had pork empanadas, pork tacos and the special onion coated triple tail risotto. The Hemingway margarita is great. All was really good. Service was great.

Bowl with pork

Great vibe, excellent food, and wonderful service! Fresh everything. The shredded pork bowl and pulled pork were excellent!. Espresso martinis and mojitos were perfect! Had a couple rounds. ( Just wanna interject your ice tea may need a bit more water, as it was a little bitter or too strong...heard next table comment same.) Can't wait to visit again.

Solid food, friendly service. Went with a large group so service and such isn't fair to judge. Didn't really feel any Key West vibe personally but would do back probably.

Best tostones

Came here with the family from being in Miami over the weekend. The tostones, yuca fries and truffle fries were 10/10! Better than any tostones we had in Miami. You have to try this. The cheeseburger was very good! Everyone loved the decor of the restaurants. The only knock is they only have 1 bathroom for Men's and one for women. We waited outside and ended up not going. The waitress was excellent! We devoured all the food! I have been here before and got the same results. My wife got the Key West bowl and loved it.

We have been to Hemingway's for brunch twice. Cuban inspired fare in a casual vibing restaurant. I gave it four stars for what it is, but dont expect anything over the top. It is solidly reliable meals, that taste good at a reasonable price. We have had excellent service at both visits. I got the breakfast bowl this last visit and my daughter had the eggs Benedict. Both were very filling and good. We will definitely go back in the future.

Ask the Community - Hemingway's Tavern

I was interested if I brought a group of 6-10 ladies for a lunch or dinner at one table and a few husbands might come- to sit at another table WAY far away from the ladies on a Thursday would it be possible, with pre notice from me, reservation?

At this time, the website states they do not take reservations or call ahead seating. However, they have plenty of large tables on the covered patio with an adorable atmosphere and it is also possible to seat a group that size inside, but you may… Read more

I ordered the picadillo, but unfortunately it was extremely salty--to the point that I had to send it back. The team was very kind and quickly offered to replace it with a churrasco. The steak was tender, which I appreciated, but it had a noticeable fish-like taste, possibly from being cooked on the same grill as seafood. It was also a bit salty, though not as much as the picadillo. One of my guests mentioned that his ropa vieja was also somewhat salty, although not as much as mine (he even tried my dish for comparison). The owner is a very kind and friendly gentleman, and the service overall was attentive and accommodating. However, they do need to watch their salt, as it affected several dishes. With some adjustments to seasoning, this place has great potential.

Look away for a second and you'll miss it but don't sleep on this hidden gem. I tried a pressed Cuban and beef empanada which are my traditional favs but I won't be playing it safe next time because now I know the quality is 100% and the menu has me excited to try something new. It all tastes homemade in all the best ways. The roasted pork in the pressed Cuban was not neat little slices, it was juicy chunks of pernil made with talent and love. I'm already desperate to come back. Parking is limited. Service was surprisingly fast. Because you don't have to reinvent the wheel. This is a very generous portion of food for the price you're gonna pay . I don't mean they go heavy on rice and light on pork. Quite the contrary you are getting your bang for your buck with this meal and if you're still hungry, you're in luck because they have an assortment of desserts that are gonna satisfy that sweet tooth almost as much as that main plate Satisfies most hungers. I grew up eating Spanish food in the south Florida so I'm particular about where I spend my money and I assure you that from my liking and taste buds this place gets it right every time . Don't be shy about simply asking for a double portion of pork if you're trying to avoid carbs and enjoy their coffee first thing in the morning as well I had a great time here I've come back multiple times and I intend to continue coming back. When you first walk in it's located on the right hand side. The staff is completely bilingual, which I think is also neat giving the area and they always offer the best customer service. It feels like you're being greeted from someone welcoming you home.
